Experience one of Italy’s most unexplored and unspoilt regions: Abruzzo. Come and stay in comfort at our beautiful renovated 19th century farmhouse with a private Spa, all surrounded by nature.
‘Za Teresa’ is a carefully restored stone farmhouse, set in an unspoilt natural landscape in the green heart of Abruzzo, few kilometres away from the sea, the skiing slopes and the famous Maiella mountains. The restoration, whilst respecting the original character of the building, has transformed this ancient family-owned farmhouse into a renovated building with an excellent finishing. The seal, located in the middle of a 3-hectare farm, adjoins the Church of the Brotherhood of Napoleonic origins (in Italian: Chiesa della Confraternita). Particularly fascinating is the secular oak tree, which creates a wide shaded area next to the house. Today the house is presented with a new identity. It is the ideal place for those who want to experience the wonders of nature and the beautiful countryside of the Abruzzo region, enjoying a private spa and a hot tube, free access to a shared tennis court in a sunny panoramic scenery. The property is embraced by the surrounding mountain chains, with their woods and their silver peaks.
Ideal for a couples who also want to have intimacy with a private spa & tennis court in the house.

- Coast/Beach:
The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by car
- Idyllic beaches:
The Trabocchi Coast, UNESCO World Heritage, is a 70km coast that stretches from Ortona to San Salvo (in the province of Chieti). Its uniqueness? Crystalline waters hosting a series of fishing structures known as ‘trabocchi’. On this coastline there is the town of Ortona, known for its Aragonesi Castle facing the little harbour.
The town of Pineto (up North) is another resort town with sandy beaches, shaded by pine trees from which the town takes its name. (40 Km by car).
Again down South, Vasto is another town worth visiting: it used to be an important Roman fishing village, now it is famous for its beaches and its characteristic medieval buildings facing the sea (50 Km by car)
- Beautiful lakes and natural springs:
Lake Bomba has tourist resorts in its vicinity. The lakes of Scanno and Barrea are some of the prettiest, encircled by the mountains and easy to reach through winding roads. (90 Km by car).
The ‘Sorgenti del Pescara’ by the small town of Popoli is a natural reserve with crystal clear springs, another worth-visiting location, particularly on hot summer days. (70Km by car)
- Hiking trails:
For outdoor activities, many hiking trails can be found around the area. Some of the best are located in the National Park of Abruzzo and Molise (50 Km by car) and in the Majella National Park (30 Km by car).
- Medieval towns/villages:
live an authentic experience with a stunning scenery, visit one of the most distinctive medieval locations: ‘Rocca Calascio’. The village boasts a watchtower from the 10th century, which remains the highest fort in Italy, at nearly 1,500 meters above sea level. (100 Km by car).
Guardiagrele, one of the small towns along the mountain ranges, preserves its medieval aspect and its local craftsmanship is very famous for the wrought-iron manufacturing (20 Km by car).
- Travel: the closest airport is located in Pescara (30 KM).

An absolutely incredible experience!
I spent a long weekend in this beautiful country house with a few friends and it was all perfect.
Antonio and his family are lovely and made our stay memorable, flexible in accommodating all our needs and making sure we had a great time.
The house offers a lovely view of the Abruzzo hills and is close to some of the most beautiful areas of the region. Moreover, the house has everything you need to enjoy time with friends or family - from loads of space to have a nice bbq to a lovely tennis court and a relaxing sauna.
And let’s not forget the delicious surprise of the homemade cheesecake and wine!
Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Casale stupendo immerso nella natura e nella quiete
Esperienza positivissima, il casale ha un giardino grandissimo dove i nostri cani si sono divertiti tantissimo, la casa all'interno è dotata di ogni comfort. In sei siamo stati benissimo. Grazie Antonio!

Beautiful Property and Wonderful Stay
This home provided everything we needed/wanted and more. It was very well equipped with two kitchens; one true to the home’s character and one more modern and updated. The setting is stunning with beautiful panoramic views.
We quickly felt at “home” each night welcomed by the resident dog “Pablo.” Having animals on property was something we very much enjoyed.
Grocery store and a few restaurants were within walking distance which we definitely appreciated. Antonio, the owner, could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. He was very responsive and enhanced our stay with restaurant and activity suggestions. We had a wonderful experience here and would return without hesitation.

A presto.

Fantastic property in a tranquil location
The house is set on a hill over a nearby Italian village on the other side of the valley. The house itself is beautiful inside and well equipped. The local town has all that you will need as well shops wise. Antonio and his family looked after our every need whilst we were there and are truly wonderful people. Very well equipped kitchen that is great for the fantastic local produce. The local wine is truly scrumptious as well. To sum up a marvelous week in a marvelous location with lovely people. Can't wait to be able to go back if possible in the very near future. We will also miss the cat who our son named Gino!
