Very enjoyable holiday

This small recently renovated property is located on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the beach. We enjoyed our 9-night stay. Food was of very high quality, breakfast, lunch and dinner all a la cart. Selection of the dishes didn’t change during our stay, however it was sufficient not to get bored. I would appreciate more seafood for main courses. We were staying on HB and could choose from 3-course dinner. We also enjoyed a Bio restaurant at the hotel. There are some other restaurants in the area, quite decent, we tried a few for lunch. Beautiful pool, as many already noted with few umbrellas. You need to be creative if you want to stay in the shade. Hotel provided complimentary transfer from/to airport. Rooms are fresh and facilities are good. Everything was clean. Complimentary water, tea and nespresso coffee. Very friendly employees and great service!

At the hotel restaurant you can also choose some dishes that were not included in half board. Unfortunately you have to pay a premium price for these, even if you are on half board, meaning you are paying twice for the dinner, which seemed unfair to us. The same goes for lobster night organized once by the hotel during our stay. We therefore opted out on these options. There was an issue with the transfer to the airport. It didn’t show up and we were concerned about missing the flight. The ladies at the reception did contact the company and luckily there was another driver available who brought us to the airport 40 minutes after the arranged time. The transfer is arranged by an external company and I understand this was not the hotel’s fault, but it was not pleasant to end the holiday on this note and say goodbye to the place we enjoyed so much in such a way. I would suggest the reception has a different option in case there is an issue with the transfer, as the airport is very busy and chaotic during summer and in case we were another 20 minutes later we could have missed our flight.

Dusche am Pool wäre hilfreich, für die, die nicht an den oberen Pool gehen möchten, weil dieser zu kalt ist. Die Gäste reservieren ihre liegen vor dem Frühstück mit ihren Handtüchern, kommen aber erst 2 Stunden später an den Pool. Unmöglich dass die älteren Frauen sich am Pool oben ohne Sonnen. Es ist dennoch eine Hotelanlage!! Leuchten auf der Terrasse leuchten die ganze Nacht, sodass man immer mit geschlossenen Fenster schlafen muss

A hotel of a very high standard, from the food to the smallest details, Antonis and George, the hotel employees, who made our stay an extraordinary experience awaited us at the reception, they took care of everything we wanted above and beyond throughout the entire stay! Excellent food, great cocktails, perfect massage, high level cleanliness and professional and dedicated service. A quiet place suitable for couples, 2 minutes from the sea.

Absolutely wonderful location to spend a relaxing vacation

It was beautifully decorated and very clean. They treated us so well and actually upgraded our room to include one with a private pool. The staff were very kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was that worth a 5 star location.

we had a great time here, a week is not long enough visiting this lovely hotel.

we liked the pool area where the sun loungers were set out, also the bar and restaurant was lovely. The views from the rooftop bar were great. All the staff were really welcoming and made our stay that extra special.

Superb

The standout out for me was the staff, the service was 10/10. The manager Aleka sorted out any issues we had and the facilities were great. The rooms were extremely comfortable and everyone was very helpful. Every time we got a cab, the driver would comment on how aesthetically pleasing the hotel was. I believe it was one of the best in Crete especially in Heraklion. The rooftop gym was my favourite and the beds were extremely comfortable. Really recommend!

Amazing brand new luxury hotel with great facilities. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. All in all very quiet and relaxing pool area. Everybody just made us feel very welcome since we steped into hotel until our way out. When next time in Crete our definet and only choice.

Brand new facilities, amazing staff, very good food. We really loved the place, SUPER QUIT without any side noises, this is the PERFECT place for those who wants to take some time off from life and to relax. I would definitely go back.

Perfect vacation in a perfect hotel

The hotel is a boutique hotel, not so big, but this is why it’s so fun to stay there. The most clean hotels I have ever seen. we were 3 friends, so the room was big, with a big balcony. the breakfast was good (the staff is bringing you a menu and you choose which omelet would like, and you have many many choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everything that we wanted we got it- never seen anything like this before. The pool was amazing, clean and beautiful. The bar and the choices they have there are very good. About the location of the hotel, I liked it that it’s not in a main city or neighborhood, because we had a really quiet and relaxing vacation, and this is what we wanted most of the time, and the tow main cities are pretty close, so when we wanted a bit louder time, or a fancy dinner, it was 7-25 min from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and I’m definitely will go back there!

Disappointing

The bed was comfortable. The staff (still 1 dude) informed me that they will start some renovations at the beginning of October and hopefully they will fix if not all, some of the issues.

The room was not in a good condition and the towels had holes and spots. The sunbeds are dirty and they need to be thrown out. The shower looked very old and rusty. They charge for WiFi in the rooms. Lol There was only 1 employee for the whole hotel, besides the cleaners, and the reception was absent most of the time.

Highly recommended!

The hotel is really cosy and clean. The rooms are a bit old but it's great value for money! The beach is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and there is a supermarket around the corner. The staff was friendly as well. Highly recommended for budget holidays!

Hotel looks very nice and it is on peacefull location and with walking distance to the beach or to the area with restaurants. First super market is just on the end of the street. It has big rooms and a terace with pool side view. Manager is so nice and helpful.

Furniture is a bit old and also the bathroom is had its age.

The hosts are very welcoming and always ready to help you with anything you need. The pool is quite spacious and the water very clean. In the room there is an electric hob and a toaster to make hot sandwiches, also glasses, plates, cutlery, etc. For us, family with a child, it was enough, we did not come on vacation to cook. Restaurant prices are reasonable. In conclusion, it was wonderful, we felt wonderful. Nearby are several supermarkets, cafes and restaurants where we ate very well. Thanks for everything Rena! 🙂
