The property itself is clean and is landscaped and arranged in such a manner that it feels like a little Shangri-La. It has a whimsically fun and relaxing retro vibe, and they offer some unique and enjoyable personal touches at each camping site (i.e. record players with a random album selection, coffee bar, and hammock to name a few). I also like that they have sound insulated the trailers and solidly leveled them. The bathroom and showers in the trailer are dinky and you will have some challenges if you are not Barbie-sized. They do have outside bathrooms and showers.
Being that this is the type of place you go glamping or even just to have a little “you” time, and you are staying in a high-end trailer, it looks bad to have TV’s in each unit only to find out that they are non-operational. I do not particularly watch much TV so it didn’t bother me, but I paid for a second trailer for my daughter and her friend (both 20 y.o.) who would have very much enjoyed TV access, especially since it was raining and we could not really experience some of the other campground offerings, such as borrowing their bicycles. Also, the campground isn’t as far removed from residential and commercial properties as one might like to take a true break from the daily grind- you get quite a bit of road noise and nearby traffic by day, but the evening was peaceful and lovely. The outside shower and bathrooms were not accessible after the camp host left for the evening.

Location next to the bike trail was great. Perfect for my dog too. Airstream was well kept up and unique. Record player was fun but better albums would’ve been nicer. Heat worked well.
No hammock. No fire pit (we were looking forward to having those). Charged me $25 to set up the sofa bed with blankets. The coffee was a tea bag and didn’t taste very good. Record albums were warped.

clean and organized
I think this is more on how we planned the trip for a one night stay and not the fault of the property. With checkin at 4 pm and check out at 11 am and it being February (cold), we didn’t get to see/enjoy the vibe of a set up like this. it would probably be more fun and interactive in the spring/summer/fall with a longer stay.

Great location! Great bed which equaled a great sleep!

Caravan Outpost was a great and budget-friendly option for my consistent vacationing in Ojai. It was perfect for the winter since each streamliner has their own adjustable heat. Didn't make sense in the winter to stay somewhere with a pool and no hot tub, plus this place is walking distance to everything downtown and a brewery within 100 feet!
They offer a kitchen but no way to cook anything. Most people don't travel with pots and pans so that would be my biggest complaint. They give you recyclable dishes and utensils but it was still lacking.

perfect location - you can walk or bike right into town. there’s so much outdoor space that you either have to yourself or can be shared. all the staff were super friendly.
the beds were a bit stiff and i think “splurging” on nicer toilet paper would have made a big difference.

Location was perfect, a little off the main grid but close enough to downtown venues. Airstreams we’re immaculate, filled with all amenities as promised. The grounds beautiful and staff so helpful.

We accidentally slept through breakfast, we stayed up late the night prior but we definitely wanted to attend. We had easy, safe street parking and easy walking to places to eat. Great hiking near by and always love a little Ojai. Great stop , we regret not adding another night!
Not a thing besides the chilly weather which is no one's fault. No fire pit but we understand that I'm dry socal!

Love this place. Beautiful, relaxing property. Gorgeous nature. Right next to the biking trail and super quick walk to all the great Ojai restaurants, breweries, and bars! Cute, comfortable, hip airstreams with everything you need. Slept GREAT. We will be back!

Very pretty grounds. Common area for dining was classy and updated. Twinkle lights, fire pit, background music was all great. Each Air Stream felt private and had its own garden patio with hammock and chairs and small table. Very relaxing amongst the bamboo. We brought bikes but they have bikes available for guests which is great as the main bike trail starts right behind the property. I was grateful for the use of the regular shower and toilets which they have for guests as the ones in the trailer are tiny and uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable, trailer was quiet, grateful for the air conditioning.
Staying in a small trailer sounds super fun and adventurous. The novelty wears off though. Takes 30 minutes to heat the water for a shower and the pump toilet gets old. But we were glad to have tried it. We had a great weekend.

Staying in the Airstream was a unique experience in itself. The layout of the trailers created nice private spaces and the tropical vegetation was reminiscent of boutique hotels I have been to in Asia. There are also outdoor "living rooms" for larger groups that looked inviting.
The locally sourced morning coffee was a nice touch but I found it to be bitter. It would have been nice to have morning pastries. If you want good coffee and pastries in the morning you will have to plan ahead or drive out get them since there is no place within walking distance.

This is definitely an oasis experience...... built for pictures! We really enjoyed being able to borrow bikes to take on the trail behind the park.
I only wish the TV's worked and we could have had s'mores by a fire. Otherwise, this place was even better than I thought it would be!
