Brilliant

I enjoyed the food as the selection suited my preferred diet, especially the salads and buffets. The gym was good, except both treadmills were out of order. The location was good, and water sports offered were good as included. It was nice to be able to dine around the other Elegant Resorts and restaurants. The food we had in the Italian was very good.
Some of the staff were less helpful than others, particularly in the restaurant. Our first evening we were offered top ups of wine, but this was not offered on subsequent nights. The set dinner menus were not so good.

Breakfast was good Alacart

Great location
Breakfast could be improved
4.5
The breakfast was excellent and the location wonderful
I liked it all my only recommendation is to improve the lighting in the buffet area and dining area as it’s too bright and could easily be improved by softening it .
3.0
WW like the location
the water front water sports staff were too Grumpy and not at all polite
2.0
The rooms are a little outdated but clean and large enough for a family of 4.
All meals served where you have breakfast. on the previous year you are on the decking near the beach which was a much better experience. The food was very average and repetitive this time again a lower standard than the previous year. Some of the staff didn’t have a great attitude this year. (some where great though).
3.0
Great location, watersports good, food was nice also.
Rooms are in desperate need of updating, poor management in the restaurants (especially at breakfast time) regularly no plates, food running out - meaning you have to wait round the buffet area for it to be replenished. Also evening meal was buffet most nights rather than ala carte which (which isn’t great considering the amount of money you pay to stay here).
3.5
Breakfasts were great although things tended to finish and not be plenished. The egg chef Ester is superb, so funny and efficient.
The hotel is a bit tired but under new ownership things should change under Marriott. The beach was a tad worn and eroded from previous visits and the beach staff need to tidy it up and rake it every day like they do at other resorts nearby.
When we arrived we ate outside under the covers on the outside decking. This stopped half way thro and we had to eat in the only dining room.
Sunbed bagging starts at 06.00hrs with no control...very frustrating.

good location.
Tired - making it feel not good value for money
4.5
location was great, all inclusive package was good, food was great, loved the variety of options for dinner locally as part of package - really loved the water taxi staff were super helpful
there was nothing we didn’t like at all if I was to improve anything - fridge in room not always topped up and we didn’t get milk replaced so couldn’t make a cuppa in the morning
1.5
Its location on the island.
The service was poor, the food was of a poor quality and a constant buffet, which isn’t mentioned on the website. The staff kept forgetting bookings like taxis and drinks orders. Just badly organised and not what you’d expect having paid so much to stay there.
3.0
Excellent food, music, security and outstanding staff. The day administrators were very helpful and reassuring.
The smoke detector and fire alarm went off over ten times in the evening and night and we were concerned
as to why we were not informed that this was an ongoing issue, which needed to be resolved. We jumped up each time to see whether or not we need to evacuate the premises.
The potential risk for falling was evident whenever it rained due to slippery floor surfaces. The ceiling in the bathroom had an evident leak stain from the roof. We were staying on the third floor. The bathrooms need updating so that seniors can step in and out more easily without risk for falling.

Super pretty resort. It may be a little older but I didn’t mind that. I found
it really charming. The outdoor pool is great. Staff are fun and sweet and my room
Was absolutely perfect.
My in room phone didn’t work at all so that was a little annoying.

we had a wonderful time, wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were amazing, so very helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The pools were very clean and plenty of chairs around the pool area to sit. The food was very good and the drinks were great. We ate at Positano to celebrate our daughters birthday and it was amazing. Ordering a cake for the dinner was easy and delicious as well. All in all we had an amazing time and would go back again.
We wish it was easier to get pool towels. After being at the beach/pool and them being soaking wet, we had to wait until the next day to get new ones in our room. Also wish they had the activities that were stated on the weekly pamphlet and where the activities were at. (the bajan street food never came, the ice cream pop up didn't pop up had to hunt for it and the musician came 1 1/2 hours late)

great pools and access to reef
our first room was dark and had a muddy puddle outside it. second room was on the 1st floor and excellent.

Good service, good breakfast. Water taxi to the other hotels was great, we went to the Colony Club during the day a few times.
There just weren't enough sun beds, which is pretty important on a beach holiday. This part of the beach is so narrow there is not enough room for many beds, and there were only 50 or so round the pools. We would come.down by 8.00 and realise that the only ones still available either had no umbrella, or were on a big slope on the narrow beach. We took the free water taxi to The Colony Club a few times which was much better, huge beach, attentive pool assistant who would move beds for you, get you towels etc.
The food was OK, but only OK.
Our room didn't look like the ones in the pictures. It was a bit tired. Maybe they have renovated some but not all of the rooms.
0.5
Food poor and the standard of the hotel was definitely not the stars its rated at. Would not go back.

Perfect location. Great pools. Large Rooms. Plenty of Deck space and loungers. The ability to eat at sister hotels and use of the water taxi is a great bonus.
Firstly, it's worth saying there were a number of large wedding parties on site which may be a cause of some of the failings, but breakfast did not have enough serving staff to cope with a no-touch buffet. Wait staff varied between absolutely superb and unpleasantly surly. Lunch and dinner there was a problem in that the kitchen was too far from the restaurant (of which there was only one, not two as on the website) and the wait staff had to make too many journeys which affected both food quality and service. The rooms are large but the décor and furnishings were very tired. The hotel also needs some overdue maintenance.
This hotel could be absolutely wonderful after the pandemic and with more hands-on management.

All of the staff were so wonderful, attentive and professional. The grounds and beach are beautiful and well kept. Special shout out to Chef Erica for providing us with our off menu request for salt fish at breakfast that was soo delicious!!! Also water sports and ferry gentlemen were also great . . we had a lot of fun enjoying the water sports and water taxi!
Menu items for dinner could have been more upscale for at least a few of our 5 nights!! Food overall was good but not special. Alcohol beverages were fruity, tasty but watered down. With all inclusive I know that food has to satisfy generally but it could have been better. Rooms were dated, clean but had a very musky odor!! Also we were traveling with my 91 year old mom and did not know that there was no elevator! Had to switch from our lovely 3rd floor ocean view room to ground floor that was not as nice and smelled bad.
3.5
Location excellent
Buffet variable quality;
Main issue however dated decor was the leak in the bathroom and main room following heavy rain which continued as we visited during the rainy season; was offered to change the room mid stay which was extremely inconvenient and during that time room was not cleaned which left very unpleasant smell.
Staff pleasant, Ether very helpful with grill/omelets/poached egg requests, Shanika receptionist helpful and pleasant
balanced other issues;
TV reception only 6 channels was poor and AC not able to adjust which again was very inconvenient as the weather was hot;
location excellent
access to beach
beach bar
restaurant with the view
2.5
Pool and beach access were great.
The service was poor, even by island standards.
