Good location (only across the bridge). Owner was nice and tried to help as much as possible. Rooms were relatively cheap and quite despite the big street next to the hotel.
Room smelled like someone had smoked in it a few days before. No window in the budget room.

Located little off the city center, ok room, unfortunately got underground one without windows, not the best experience.

The room was a good size and clean
We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable by unfriendly staff. We came back one evening to find they had hung their personal washing on our balcony - this would of course been okay if we had been asked but felt very intrusive, especially as we are two young girls travelling alone

Friendly staff. Location is great to be outside of tourist area and more local residency. Stayed here many times before. Can do laundry.
Unfortunately other guests been smoking in the room I had which I did not like. Sheets weren't too clean either. Overall quality lower than my multiple stays last summer. A shame...

People where very nice and helpful!

Staff is cooperative but due to language issue it is a big task for to tell over problem and suggestion.
On our request staff offered tea which very nice.
Also staff members booked taxi for us at cheap rate.
As the room are in basement there is no lift it gives us trouble during up down movement.
We also request to change our room and we will pay whatsoever increase but they straight way refuse us. And we have no other option to stay there.

-Hot water
-Friendly staff, they try to do their best.
- the owner locked all the bikes of the guests on a chain so they don't get stolen.
Well to start with the location is far from the city center. We got to Hanoi 1 day earlier and we decided to stay here one night to recover and then check in into another hotel. When we got there the reception was welcoming and friendly but the hotel itself is old and dirty. Our room looked decent at first sight but on further inspection we found ash from cigarettes on the couches. There was also a sock left on the couch by the previous guests. The sheets on the bed had BLOOD stains and hair. The floor was completely dirty and the room had a smell. Everything seemed old and run down. The bathroom wasn't clean, we found PUBIC hair and used toothpaste. I slept with long sleeves and legging because I didn't want to touch the bed with my skin. I have asthma so I had to sleep with a mask on due to the room being so dirty. In the morning the owner came running to us a bit mad asking us to check out and for the room key to check if everything was in order.
The place isn't worth 275k dong a night.
We regret not staying at a good hostel.
