About this house rental
Situated in the lovely seaside village of Llangrannog on Cardigan Bay, West Wales, the cottage is only a three minute walk from the beach and a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. It is located at the end of a quiet lane along a stream.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and rocking chair, and the second bedroom has a double bed and set of bunkbeds, ideal for couples on a romantic getaway, or for families with up to three children. The newly renovated kitchen seats up to six people at a fold-down dining table, plus a highchair. It has a new dishwasher and washing machine, microwave and electric cooker with induction hob. The living room has a cosy log and coal burner and comfortable leather furniture. New storage heaters have been installed throughout. There is wifi (fibre broadband), a Bose Bluetooth speaker, a TV with DVD player and Freeview Play for catch up TV and Netflix access.
The cottage is over two floors, with the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Parking is available for one small car, and access is limited on the lane. For larger vehicles, free parking is available approximately 400 yards away. One well-behaved dog is allowed for an additional charge of £25. No smoking.
The coastal path is less than 200 yards away. The spectacular rocky coastline has a number of beautiful sandy beaches and the possibility of spotting seals and dolphins. Aberporth, Penbryn (National Trust) and Tresaith beaches are a short drive away. The nearest large supermarkets are Tesco and Aldi, 12 miles away in the historic market town of Cardigan, which also has a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes, a theatre, cinema, swimming pool and leisure centre. The scenic harbour at Aberaeron is 14 miles up the coast.
Two miles away in Brynhoffnant is a good small supermarket and petrol station. The Urdd (youth) Centre is just outside the village and offers dry slope skiing and other activities. Further afield are the Preseli Mountains, several historic castles and heritage sites such as St Dogmael’s Abbey, and family attractions like the Welsh Wildlife Centre. Other activities include dolphin watching, kayaking, coasteering, golf, horse riding and river fishing.

Great stay in Llangrannog again lovely place and great cottage for our stay

We were pleased with the location of the property and your descriptions. The cleanliness of the property was absolutely terrible and I was very upset with the care take. I have photos if you would like to see some of the examples. I really oppose paying the cleaning fee.

Ideal location, well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable and 5 minutes from the beaches. I have been coming to this property for over 30 years; my children are now bringing their children.

Grandparents stayed here visiting some family for a week. Communication from the host was excellent as I arranged it for them as they're not the best at online things. Recommendations for meals and taxis were great. They seemed to have a nice time staying.

The cottage is in a great location and very close to the beach.
Pentre arms pub is a great place and everyone is friendly.
The cottage is more than adequate, cosy and comfortable with everything you need for self catering.will come back soon.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here with our dog.
We love the area, good walks along the coastal path, excellent beaches and great pub.
House is perfect for us. Clean with everything we need, great location, excellent communication with the owner and the day to day manager of the cottage. Honestly wouldn't change a thing.
Will be returning for sure!

We are regulars - we have been coming for decades. The location is ideal for the beaches. I like the option of checking on the Pentre Arms live web cam first thing in the morning and, if calm, going for a pre-breakfast swim. The kitchen is very well equipped; and the option of a fire in the evening (ample fuel provided) rounds off the day.

We have had a lovely week in Llangrannog! The beach was fabulous and there are many nice hikes in the surrounding. Everything we needed was present in the house.
Thanks!

Great location and property for a couple or small family. With the beach so close the cottage is a great base for walking and splashing in the sea or venturing further afield along the bay. We enjoyed equally the great food from the Pentre Arms, Beach Hut and Caffi, and the opportunity to cook some local produce from the farm shop.
Thanks for providing us with a relaxing break - we would love to come back.

We have been coming to this property since the last century! The current owners have made it very comfortable - I just loved using their new oven. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location is ideal for the beach and local walks. We are already planning a return trip next month.

Nice house, as described. Communication with the owner was great. Took car to the house once. Not worth the hassle. Out through the back gate is a short walk to the free village car park

Lovely cottage, excellent location. Clean, well maintained and has everything you need! Excellent communication with the owners I'm 100% sure if we had an issue they would be there (but we didn't!) Beautiful beach where dogs are welcome. Both pubs do good food however The Ship doesn't allow dogs in, you have to sit outside so we spent more time at the Pentre Arms with its amazing views of the sea. FYI local shop is closed, opens at peak seasons. Tesco and Aldi are close by though.
We had a fab time and will definately book again.

We had a lovely week in Llangrannog with lots of time in the sea and playing on the sandy beach.
The cottage was really well set up, and comfortable with lots of space for the four of us. The bedrooms were a really good size so fitted the double bed and bunk beds easily. The location was great, a level walk to the beach but very quiet.

This cottage ticked all the boxes as a place for part of my family. One log who really appreciated the cottage itself and the peaceful situation. The other family came midweek and we’re also impressed with the cottage and the fact that dogs were allowed.
Already booked for next year.

Yet another happy week!
We have be coming to Bodawen for many years and have never failed to enjoy it. The present owners are excellent hosts and have improved the cottage enormously. It is comfortable and very well equipped, and perfectly located for both peacefulness and access to the beach.

Fabulously located for the beach
Comfy cottage in a very quiet location. Well equipped and great internet strength with Netflix etc great.as no mobile phone signal. Llangrannog is a lovely compact village ( mainly holiday let’s) with a small sandy beach and two great cafes plus two good pubs, and a local shop.
Just watch out for the jellyfish.

ideal location
Well equipped with good facilities and well cared for. Heating might prove a problem out of season. Village with good pubs/restaurants. Shop was closed during our stay but needs were well provided for by the shop/garage on the main road (3 miles). Really enjoyed our stay. Left early due to ill-health.

We loved our stay here, the house is exactly as stated in the listing. Perfectly situated 3 mins from the beach but remote enough for a peaceful stay. Very well equipped. Perfect stay for a family holiday.

Nice cottage in a lovely spot
Cottage was a good base from which to explore the beautiful coastline. Llangrannog was a great location: 2 pubs, pizza and ice cream on the beach. Also, sunsets, seals and dolphins - wonderful!

Authentic cottage
It was a lovely cottage in a brilliant location. I would hesitate to come in the winter though, as even in summer we had to have the storage heaters on. There is a log-fire - so those who enjoy those can stay warm, I'm sure. Also, it wasn't ideal for dog owners as there is no outdoor space besides the parking bay. The beach is near but for last night-time wee - not very convenient. Be sure to bring all your food with you as the local shop is very limited with irregular hours. Besides that though - we had a wonderful stay and can imagine young families really enjoying it.
