The location was everything we dreamed about when planning our trip. The property was beautifully maintained, serene, peaceful, and the scenery was breathtaking.

Beautiful property. Attentive staff. Great accommodation. Wonderful food.
Beds were a little firm. A clothes dryer would have been helpful although we were lucky with the weather and able to dry our clothes outside.

all the property, location, food and winery are really very good. close distance to Florence (25 min drive). we liked the water-pool, dinner restaurant, garden.

The surrounding location is lovely
The room we were staying, however, in Casavilla was very dark with barely any sunlight coming in which was not clear from the pictures online

All of the staff at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay with our 13 month old son as easy and enjoyable as possible. We couldn't go out for dinner as it clashed with the little ones bedtime so got one of the apartments in the property. The apartment was well equipped and perched on top of a small hill which was incredibly serene. The apartment was a 5 minute walk to the the main hotel which wasn't an issue as it was very enjoyable and they also made themselves available for a ride on a golf buggy at all times.
We had booked dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night but the little one was quite unsettled so we couldn't make it. The hotel staff went out of their way to bring us our meal to the apartment - not a service they usually do.
We were given a baby bath (with toys :)), a high-chair and a cot during our stay - all perfect.
The bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in (high praise!)
The buffet breakfast was terrific - a lovely spread of delicious italian sweet and savoury foods enjoyed in the most idyllic courtyard.
There are plenty of activities from horse-riding to wine tasting to occupy oneself. We also went into Florence a couple of times which was around 30mins drive away.
Highly recommend the hotel for all travellers!
We didn't rent a car so couldn't drive into the neighbouring restaurants, and whilst the hotel osteria was excellent it isn't something you would necessarily do every night if you stayed for more than 2 nights. The osteria does do a lovely lunch menu but again quite limited for repeat visits. Im not sure if the hotel does room service but would perhaps recommend they provide a more general/accessible menu for the evenings.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The apartments, the restaurant, the entire space, the views! We stayed in the private apartments and totally loved it, great space with the ability to be self sufficient. We had a great stay and left with a bottle of olive oil as a gift to ourselves.
The restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was worth it 100%. We stayed on the lower apartment, and the family above us had little kids that were really loud, so you could hear all of the footsteps and screams. I would suggest asking to stay in the upper apartment, if possible.

Fantastic views! Beautiful architecture and personalised experience. Cellars are spectacular and reminiscent of old Tuscany. The staff, such as Leonardo, were perfect tour guides who are passionate about the history and heritage of the property and the surrounding region. Horseback riding and Ancient Etruscan cooking classes were superb activities. Great stepping stone to the secret gems of Tuscany.
