Absolutely stunning place. A warm welcome from the host when we got there. Our room had breathtaking views of the sea and stunning views of the hills and mountains. Had dinner on the first night which was very nice. The cooked breakfast was lovely with plenty of cereals yogurts and juices available

The breakfast and evening meals were exceptional with lovely view! Very homely with lounge and bar also private car park but left car and walked down various paths into Barmouth!
That we didn’t stay for longer

The property is beautiful, capturing the history and keeping the Victorian style alive. Staff were very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms smelled fresh, unlike some places that have a musty smell.
Can’t fault it at all.

Stunning views, end of town location, but close enough to walk into town

Loved the hotel, staff friendly polite and professional.
Rooms were comfortable, and everything we needed. 1st room, room was adequate but very small en suite. 2nd room was larger with larger en suite including a bath as well as shower.
Water pressure was great 👍
Breakfast was good quality too
No lift, stairs would be a problem for others who have trouble with health issues. (4 flights of stairs)
No smoking shelters for those that smoke, as a smoker, not nice in the wind and rain (ha ha)
4.3
Rooms very clean and comfortable and watching sunset on evening whilst enjoying the amazing views

Stunning views. Lovely staff. Everyone very helpful.
Twin room little pokey. Shower not ideal....old style over a bath. Decor in room a bit tired.

All good, couldn't fault it.
4.3
ideal location, beautiful surroundings
4.3
Elevated position for stunning sea views
Friendly staff
Beautiful features - staircase; flooring
lacked attention to detail: mouldy fruit and yoghurt 6 days out of date on breakfast table; conservatory/breakfast area - laminate floor not clean and overhead sunscreen dirty and dusty; bedroom - tablet/medication on carpet, hole in duvet cover and marks on bedlinen; peeling wallpaper; shower cubicle in desperate need of modernisation.

The Hotel is perched on the side of a Hill overlooking Barmouth and the Bay. The Hotel has wood panelled walls, stain glass windows and plenty of character. The view from the dining room and external patio (veranda) is very pleasant and on a sunny day would be very enjoyable. The single room was compact but clean with all the utilities that you need. The breakfast and evening meals were freshly cooked and tasty.
The room was on the third floor and manoeuvring up the stairs and through small landing doors was tricky. The menu for both the evening meal and breakfast was traditional and basic, would have preferred more variation.

Room was small but view from balcony was fantastic.
We were both poorly a few days after our return home and tested positive for COVID.
Skirting Board in the room and bathroom were very dusty.

Everything about Ty'r Graig was exceptional, the owner was brilliant and the food and drinks were fantastic.... Slightly out of the main town, but it made the stay extremely quiet and the sea views are to die for....
