Relaxing atmosphere at a historical chateau

- Very beautiful chateau, located in a nice French town - Pretty garden - Nice interior - Dinner option - Gorgeous pool

- The shower was calcified - A little pricey, for the price the shower should’ve worked smoothly. Since we stayed just one night, it was not that much of a big deal - For the price, parking should be included (it has cost us 15€ for one night).

A beautiful hotel, with amazing staff and Paul ( manager) was such a lovely person, who loves his job and makes you feel

Breakfast all mornings are The same. Not alot of choice. In room there could be robes.

Lovely pool and gardens area. Terrace is really lovely to sit out in. Breakfast was very good and the rooms we bright and clean. Staff were exceptionally good. Parking available on site for an extra fee of €15 per day.

A little bit of luxury while cycling through Provence

Great building with beautifully decorated common areas. Room was spacious with a lovely big bathroom. Lovely patio for drinks and the restaurant food was amazing! The staff were all very attentive and friendly and there is good lock up facilities for bikes.

The check-in was a bit of an issue with unprepared rooms. The shower was a sit in the bath affair which was impractical for us. The outside lawns by the pool could be tidier.

wonderful stay

the whole building and garden were beautiful. the room were tidy and cozy. the pool area was relaxing. very nice breakfast with lots of options. secure parking

Nice for a one night, however, so many opportunities to develop their services and reach the level they pretend to have.

we liked the pool and the amazing chateau itself. The staff at the front desk were all super nice and helpful.

The restaurant is closed during Mondays and there is a limited chance to order something for lunch. Considering the location of a small town, it’s hard to even find a place for lunch, so when we decided to spend a whole day chilling by the pool on Monday, the service was not available. The restaurant is not reflecting the price, the waiter was rather rude, refusing to speak English, giving us “lessons”. He also charged us more than was supposed to (three course menu even though we only had two). The breakfast was very weak, considering the price.

This castle was a little jewel

Staff were not very attentive. Breakfast very disappointing. Room cleaning service not very efficient - did not leave clean towels one day!!

Lovely base for exploring the area

The building itself is beautiful, possibly the prettiest in Mazan. It has an interesting history and has been really tastefully decorated to get a mix of new and old. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants. Breakfast is a generous buffet, but it’s really worth having dinner in the restaurant once night which was far above my expectations- a proper fine dining experience.

While the hotel is great and I would recommend, Mazan itself didn’t set me alight. It made a great base for exploring the area and has a few fantastic restaurants, a lovely central town square and some pretty old cobbled streets to wander through, but wouldn’t draw me back. To be fair we had just come from staying in one of the hill towns near Aix en P which are especially picturesque and a bit bigger. Mazan is a village so expect a village!

Not good, can not recommend the hotel

- The Location was great - The Staff we’re mostly friendly - Dinner was excellent also value for money is good - Parking is good

- Some of the Staff were not helpful - The Bathroom needs renovation (also very dirty) - Value for money is not good - Pool area is to crowded (not enough sun beds) - Room was not very clean - The Guy for the luggage also never came - Breakfast was not good, way to expensive - There is no food available between lunch and dinner
