Die Hotelbesitzer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Preis Leistung optimal!

Preis Leistung sehr OK, die Eigentümer sind sehr zuvorkommend und extrem bemüht den Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Jederzeit würde ich wieder dort übernachten.

Das Bett war leider altersbedingt nicht optimal, aber ist es doch ein ehrwürdiges Gebäude, dass so einiges zu erzählen hat. Den Umständen geschuldet sind allerdings die sehr schwierigen Zeit von Covid19.

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, sehr gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Super freundliche Famile Hofbauer, die Komummunikation im Vorfeld war so gut, wie ich das von deutlich größeren und renomierteren Häusern nicht gewohnt bin und ich bin geschäftlich ca. 30 Wochen im Jahr in Hotels. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch gereicht und ist mehr als üppig, frisch und sehr gut. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es wird versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir kommen gerne wieder zur Fam. Hofbauer.

Dog friendly

Hotel je přátelský ke psům a jsou ubytovaní zdarma. Dokonce jsme pro psi dostali dáreček. Moc příjemní a ochotní majitelé. Výborná snídaně. Děkujeme.

Absolut empfehlenswert, werde auf jeden Fall wieder einchecken sollte ich in der Nähe sein.

Ich übernachte auf Grund meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit sehr häufig in Hotels und habe mich noch nie (!) so herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt wie im Gasthof Hofbauer!

Leider kein Gastronomiebetrieb am Abend mehr.

Short walk from the town, great value for money.

Amazing hosts, arrived to a beautiful hand written note welcoming me & then we met in person the next morning and even friendlier in person!

Great location, excellent service!

Great host and staff, very attentive, we travelled with our dog and he received a nice gift too (beef sticks), we also received a nice gift Raffaello. Great breakfast as well, clean room all great.

A bit noisy from trains passing near by. It would be great if the rooms would be equipped with boiling jugs.

Exceptional

The room was clean and big. The bed very comfortable. We brought our dog with us for the stay (without charge!!). When we walked in, there was a bowl and two Beef Sticks and it was the cutest thing. Breakfast was very good and the host friendly.

Very friendly and helpful service. They amended breakfast time to match the train connection. The hotel is very good for connection by train and there is contactless check in available so you can arrive at any time. The room was excellent and the breakfast was really good with a wide range of cold buffet selection served at the table, with hot eggs available for a small extra fee.

Perfect experience! while cycling from OberBayern to Wien (Vienna)

The owners couldn't have been more nicer or more helpful and the Gasthof is lovely. My bicycle had a problem en route (a stud on the rack broke and and I had to "hand carry" luggage for 20 km) but I able to get it into the excellent bike shop in the high street (60 m away). During breakfast, the owners phoned them without my asking and it was sorted by the time my excellent breakfast was finished. Had I had the bike there was a locked garage to store it. I also had the unbelievable luxury of a big bath - it would not surprise me if the owners gave me that room knowing that I was (an old goat) cycling 100 km over a few big hills from OberBayern on what turned out to be a hot day. I also really appreciated the personalised note on my door with all the other helpful info presented - especially as this was the day the hotel was closed (Ruhetag). Unlike some properties that I have stayed at - that did not prove in any way prove to be a problem and all info for checking in was sorted out in advance. As noted, the hotel is ideally located off the main street (and 300 metres from the railway station) and there are a number of excellent restaurants, bars and shops.

Super service and nice room

Super friendly staff. Due to car trouble is was delayed for arrival, but the just put out the key for me, I was leaving early so the prepared a breakfast sandwich to go. Nice room

At one of the hottest days I really missed aircon. The stairs to the room was steep and "see through" which my dogs did not like.
