Good choice of breakfast items.
Enjoyed having a self serve breakfast enabling us to eat at a time that suited us.
The weather!! It rained for most of our stay so we were unable to take advantage of the beautiful setting and garden.

A beautiful, tranquil place beside the river, with lots of historical interest.

A lovely self contained studio in a beautiful setting by the river. Our host was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and fully stocked with a tasty breakfast each day and treats for the kids and our dog.
We slept well to the sound of the river and woke up each day to the peacefulness of this setting.

The location and the rich history of the surrounding areas. It was a nice peaceful environment (no tv and did not miss that) with beautiful views. The owner was really attentive throughout our stay and really went the extra mile regards homemade biscuits and jams etc.
The shower and Bathroom are just what you need after a long day to relax in.
nothing 😊 We will definitely be back.

Very nice lady called Susan who was very friendly and willing to help. Nice location by a river with views over the river. The bed was comfy and there was a separate kitchen with good facilities.
Due to the weather we lost all power at 2am and it never came back on for the rest of our stay over 2 days. We had no hot water, heating and lighting. Also the mobile phone signal was lost too. Susan did get us some hot water for coffee and scrambled some eggs for us on her coal or wood fired range in her house. However even before power went off breakfast was only going to be continental style . The track down to the mill was very narrow and full of potholes but there was parking available. There would have been Wi-Fi but there was no television. We was not offered a discount on our stay but she did say if we booked in the future we would get a reduced rate, however for two nights it was still well over two hundred pounds which for what we received was very dear.

Susan made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. It helped to have someone close by willing to share information and recommendations on the local area. The mill is in a stunning location and surrounded by oh so beautiful scenery. Warm beds, great textiles on the walls made for a general cosy atmosphere.
Excellent location but as the mill was a mile or so from Corbridge we had the usual discussion about who would drink with their meal (at The Angel) and who would drive. We decided to walk to the town and back which in the dark which on a gusty night was not ideal as we needed to walk beside a busy road. However during the day the walk via a country track was more pleasant and of course scenic. In short, for us perhaps Dilston Mill was a little far out (stunning views on drawing the curtains though).

Breakfast under current conditions was perfectly adequate for our needs.
Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable, breakfast table slightly on the small side but fitted in the space available.
Not much.

The garden was beautiful and relaxing. Walk to Corbridge was pleasant and it was lovely having the extra space for making tea and coffee.

The owner Susan went out of her way to make us feel at home, nothing was any trouble. The setting and location were perfect.
Nothing really, we were very happy.

The setting is to die for. Beautiful garden overlooking Devil's water. It's about a 45 minute walk along the river into Corbridge. Susan provided a self-serve continental breakfast each morning and one cooked breakfast during our stay. Susan is an enthusiastic hostess.
The suite has a small double bedroom, a good sized bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with a small dining table and a bench seat. This was fine as the weather was great, so a lot of our spare time was spent in the garden. On wet days, some may feel that the area to relax in was limited.

The location was amazing and the accommodation was perfect for our trip. There are kitchen facilities which means you can have breakfast at your leisure. Susan the host was very helpful and provided some excellent coffee. I recommend a walk up the hill past the accommodation there is a lovely woods we had an amazing walk and even saw a squirrel.

A neat location tucked well away from the main road. Very knowledgeable host. Our room didn't have a King size bed but I think one is available, also we didn't have a bath but I think that too is available. The gardens are rather special, especially if you like a big river. Corbridge is a good place to get around from, it also has good food places.
This was a relaxing short break including a train trip to Newcastle, Lunch at Lord Crew at Blanchland, and burgers + Ice Cream at a farm cafe somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
A power shower would be a good addition, the room is there for it. Also, a microwave in the kitchenette might work for those who don't want to eat out.

Stunning location and masses of beautifully maintained garden to sit outside and relax in. Very peaceful and only the wildlife noise to distract you. You can get down to the river for a little wander. I spotted a kingfisher fly past and got a picture of a heron stood in the river.
We were extremely well looked after and catered for by Susan. Nothing was too much trouble and she left us little biscuit, fruit or chocolate treats each day. Plentiful breakfasts that you can eat in your room when it suits you. Great for when you oversleep!
Extremely clean rooms and in the current climate this was reassuring.
I can't really find any faults although it would be nice to have a comfy sofa or an area to sit and relax in an evening when the weather is too bad to sit outside. There are 2 wicker chairs, but we found it more comfortable sat on the bed.
