Nestled in the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains, our secluded mountain home offers a breathtaking view of Whiteface Mountain. There are trails available for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing nearby for you to enjoy. World class fishing is available on the West Branch of the Au Sable River. A five minute drive will bring you to Whiteface Mountain, home of the largest vertical drop in the East and home to skiing events from the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Our home has everything you need for a quiet or adventurous getaway to the mountains.

The home offers a five bedrooms and is child friendly. It includes a fully equipped kitchen and two decks where you can relax and enjoy the view, peace and seclusion.

** FOR WINTER GUESTS: We HIGHLY recommend an AWD or 4WD drive vehicle to come up the driveway. We have a gravel driveway that becomes snow packed for most of the winter season. We keep it plowed, but the winding uphill slope will be difficult in snowy conditions**

Our extended family spent one week at the home in late June. The house was very comfortable with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our size group (6 people). While we were there primarily to visit Lake Placid and the surrounding area we also made good use of the Ping Pong table, Foosball table and indoor shuffleboard in the evenings and on rainy days. The game room was ideal for keeping the 9 year old grandson engaged. The home has a wonderful full length porch that presents a gorgeous view of nearby Whiteface Mountain. Overall it was one of the nicer summer vacation homes we have ever rented.

My family and friends had a great stay at this property. Perfect ski house for a family get together. Property was clean and easy to get in and out of. Rooms were spacious. and instructions and rules were easy to understand and clearly posted. Kitchen was well stocked. I had very little communication with owner, because there was no need. But we truly appreciated the space and location and any future trips to Whiteface, we'll be looking to stay at the same home! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This house was absolutely perfect for our growing family! Plenty of space, clean, central location! The response time for any issues was immediate! We have been coming to the Lake placid area for almost 30 years, we will definitely be coming back to this house!

House had more than enough beds and rooms for our family of ten. 15 minutes to Lake Placid. Close to stores/restaurants. Clean and quiet home on private lot. We really enjoyed our stay.

View of Whiteface and surrounding hills while gas fireplace warms the room is magic. Very quiet location, easy to get to Wilmington and Lake Placid. Lots of rooms and gameroom downstairs, 4 bathrooms (3 with showers), just a beautiful spot to stay.

This is a very well laid out, well stocked house. The view is beautiful and even though it rained the house was so comfortable and had lots to do (puzzles, games, shuffleboard, fuseball, ping-pong). It was an easy drive to Lake Placid. We had 4 adult couples and it was very comfortable for all. Highly recommend!

This is our second visit to this wonderful property, it's perfect for those looking for peace and quiet in the beautiful Adirondack region. The house is clean, large and well appointed with awesome views to the Whiteface Mountain ski slopes 10 minutes away. We had a couple questions during our stay and the owners are responsive, helpful and friendly. This house is perfect home base in all 4 seasons, we hope to be back again soon.

The house was immaculate and well stocked. Very well situated for going to Whiteface & Lake Placid. We had some rain while there, but the kids loved the game room & playing card & board games in the screened porch area (a real plus for all). Even on days when we had some rain, we were still able to go out hiking & exploring. Thanks Catherine for providing such a lovely venue!

This house is very private and quiet with a geat view of Whiteface. Close to Lake Placid, Wilmington, and Ausable. Good restaurants nearby, as are grocery shopping and farmers markets. Perfect spot to stay in the Eastern ADK.

Rented this property for college graduation. Breathtaking views of White Face, fire pit, very clean, well-appointed with Adirondack theme. The site photos are amazing but in person the place is even more amazing. And if you need transport call Bob from Polar Express Limo.

The house was amazing, even better in person than in pictures!it’s less than 10 minutes to Whiteface and only 20 minutes to town. It was super clean and plenty of room for all of us (4 families with total of 15 adults/kids). The homeowner immediately responded to my many questions and provided great recommendations! If want to go to Whiteface and/or Lake Placid this is the house to rent!

Home was as nice as it appeared on line. Clean, well-appointed, warm, spectacular view of Whiteface and range. Weather finally cooperated on Saturday with high 20’s, low 30’s and clear blue skies. Wonderful weekend. We left the house as we found it, except for the pile of laundry. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rent your lovely home.

A wonderful house. Perfect for spending time together with family. A large, super cozy and nicely decorated home with the best family fun room. Location is great too. Lots of nearby waterfalls to hike. Highly recommend, Perfect layout for multi generations to hang out comfortably.

This house was perfect for our family. It totally exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully appointed and had tons of space for all of us. The views to Whiteface were amazing. We had a lot of fun in the game room and cooked some great meals together in the spacious kitchen. We hope to come back again next year!

11 of us stayed at this wonder home for labor day weekend. We woke up to see Whiteface every morning. The house was the perfect distance to Lake Placid, Keene, and several trails which we loved. The game room was great for our rainy day.

We've stayed here 2 times and will be back for a third. Great house with a beautiful view of Whiteface Mountain from the whole front of the house. Very quiet 1/4 mile from the (lightly traveled) road. We like the 2-car garage for easy and dry moving in and out. Close to several really good local restaurants and only 20 min. from Lake Placid.

Our Annual family trip was an awesome experience thanks to the thoughtfulness and communication of Robert and Catherine. The home was awesome… offering everything we needed and more. Location was stunning - beds were sooooo comfortable… a kitchen table that was actual lg enough to seat our crew💕 Lg, top quality pots to cook with … and a great game room downstairs where we had lots of tournaments- and puzzles at night You will not be at a loss in exploring the area. A great location for Long and short hikes, waterfalls, shopping and ice cream eating filled most of our days😂 …. a day trip to Vermont was fun. Then it was 98 miles to Montreal - a memorable adventure (stop at the historical area China town - best bakery ever) on the way home Would recommend this home to everyone and it’s is our top 3 in family trips . If I could give them 100 stars it wouldn’t be enough!!!

This house was fantastic and very specious. We enjoyed using the fire pit and bbq. There’s plenty of games for the kids also a ping pong table, foosball , and shuffle board. The backyard is all woods and very peaceful. You also have a great view of wjite face mountain. The owners were fantastic and were very easy to contact. We’d definitely book this house again.

How do you spell “fantastic”? The home was perfect for our group of 6. We spent every day hiking and sightseeing in the Lake Placid area and came back to a deck with a spectacular view of Whiteface mountain; we pretty much lived on the back deck when at the house. The house is spacious, comfortable, well furnished, has a very well equipped kitchen and was very clean. Highly recommend this exceptional home! PS. Sunsets can be awesome!

We had the absolute best trip ever with 12 family members age 1-60+ meeting up here for a getaway. The house was clean and well-furnished with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. So much space!! The kids loved the downstairs gameroom and board games. The porch and screened porch were perfect for enjoying coffee and reading. Super close to Lake Placid for activities and groceries, and not too long to drive to Ausable Chasm to hike and raft. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owners. Really can't say enough great things about this place!

This house is actually huge. You can easily fit 2 families no problem. They have a game room that we took full advantage of. There's an outside seating area that has netting which is perfect for the outside BBQ 👌 and playing cards. The house was immaculate. Kitchen has pretty much everything you would need for making some great meals. The owners are also so easy to work with. They really made it feel like a home away from home. The drive there has amazing stops by the river that you pass when driving to Lake Placid. Hiking trails are gorgeous.

This house was absolutely perfect for our adult weekend getaway! The house is so big with open floor plan on the first floor making it so easy to for everyone to visit while cooking, sitting in the living and at the kitchen table. The owners made the process so easy. There were no questions about any of it because of the very detailed communication before arriving. We will definitely consider this property in the future!

While our visit had to be cut short the property was amazing - beautiful with peaceful and amazing views. Cozy and inviting and the game room was awesome. Bedrooms all large and kitchen well stocked (save a spatula)!
