The Columbia River Gorge, with its mountains and rivers, offers the vacationer and recreation enthusiast the opportunity to windsurf, mountain bike, kayak, golf, ski, hike, fish, or just relax in the unhurried pace of a natural paradise. Historic buildings line the beautifully scenic streets of downtown Hood River, with a bustling shopping district featuring boutiques, designer shops, outdoor adventure gear outfitters, antique shops, art galleries and no less than 30 restaurants.
There are many orchards and vineyards in Hood River. The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available, and varies by season. The award-winning Hood River Vineyards is located on a hillside overlooking the Hood River Valley. Their tasting room features traditional wines, and fruit liqueurs.
The Columbia River Gorge, with its magnificent views make this a dream spot for a destination wedding.
Wind surfing capital of the world is Hood River's latest distinction. The winds from the Columbia River Gorge, best during the middle of the day, create ideal conditions for riding the waves. To enjoy the view of "boardheads" at play, drive to the Columbia Gorge Sailpark or follow Second Street to the waterfront.
The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country's only year-round skiing and snowboarding.

Very nice property. If it's hot start making ice cubes. Ice maker does not work. I left it full for the next tenant. Was everything we hoped for and more. Everything went perfect, and nothing was amiss. My wife and I are thinking of going back by ourselves for a vacation. We were there for our daughter's wedding and we couldn't have asked for more.

We rented this property because our daughter was married at a Hood River wedding venue. The townhome worked well for our needs as we shared it with our older daughter and her husband. It was a very hot weekend and the AC functioned very well! We had lovely views of Mt. Adams from the primary bedroom. We would have been happier about complying with the hosts’ request to remove shoes at the door if the carpets had been clean. The tub in the primary bath needs a new diverter—it was only on the last day that we got ALL of the water to go through the shower!

The house worked but was not the best for young children. Steps can be a bit steep. Bedrooms don’t have black out curtain options for children. Overall worked well for our family

We had a good time. This place is good for two couples.

Place was just as described. Nice and clean and worked well for me and my family, including a toddler and dog. Only about a 15 min walk to downtown which is nice. Only small thing is the TV/entertainment center; it's a little outdated and somewhat confusing to work. Would have been great if there were some streaming options, otherwise the channel selection is pretty limited. However, we will definitely look to stay here again.

The space was enjoyable and had all we needed for some indoor relaxation during our rainy visit. Great location with a short drive or moderate walk to many restaurants and breweries.

We stayed here for my son’s 25th birthday. The condo was in walking distance of downtown and in a very quiet neighborhood.

A perfectly cozy and roomy stay for my workweek in Hood River. My husband and baby had plenty of room to play and lounge.
Thanks!

Great light and an interesting layout. The two king suites provide ample space and the space overall is comfortable. Some issues came up worth noting. The garage door would open on its own if we didn't latch lock it (this was of particular concern to us as we were storing expensive mountain bikes in there) — we woke up after the first night with the garage door wide open. Many of the dishes in the cupboard did not appear to be clean, requiring that we hand wash before using. The water pressure in the shower of the front king suite bathroom was pretty low.

Overall a good rental. A little dated but a great location.

Met all my expectations. Heat wave was not good for windsurfing.

We enjoyed the back patio. There is a flight of stairs to the main floor and another to the bedrooms.

Overall, this is a nice, modern property located close to everything you need. Walking distance to markets, breweries, and a short drive down to the riverfront.
My only criticisms would be the numerous stains on the carpet and some of the furniture. The place was very clean, but stains like that don’t do the first impression any good. The other problem was the bbq grill. Three out of the four burners didn’t work, and the fourth wasn’t fully operational. I figure the cleaning crew cleaned it and made sure the tank was full, but didn’t actually check to see how it’s working. I didn’t call management, because we had dinner all ready to go, so I made do. We didn’t eat dinner in again during our stay, so figured we’d just mention it in the review. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. I’d recommend it to others as well unless you have a problem with stairs; it’s a three story townhouse, after all.

Great Stay
I really enjoyed our time staying here. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms. There's a nice little deck in back and the location is within walking distance to downtown.

Great townhome in Hood River
Great house, Great location. The washing machine is a little wonky and I couldnt get two burners on the grill to light but neither are big deals. Will look forward to staying here again the next time I'm in town.

House was immaculately clean and well stocked. Self check-in was painless. Kitchen had a full complement of utensils, pots, etc. Good WiFi. Easy location to get to downtown or to the wineries.

We enjoyed the location - walking distance to grocery and downtown. There's also a park nearby that we enjoyed with our black lab. The unit is very comfortable and the view of Mt. Adams from the master bedroom is nice. Bring slippers since shoes are not to be worn inside.

Comfortable stay at great location
We stayed for 4 nights to enjoy outdoor attractions in this area while also securing a comfortable place to chill/work(terrific WiFi), and Venturi was perfect!
Property managers were extremely responsive and offered to help right away(declined as issue was solved via text), the kitchen pretty well equipped, plenty of light throughout, full bathrooms for each of the bedrooms and another 1/2 bath near main area. We slept well in the king beds.
The garage has a ping pong table which we played one stormy afternoon.
The location was also to our liking-- the whole area is a little hilly but we loved walking to Cider Crush Cafe (just minutes from Venturi) and Double Mountain Brewery (maybe 10 minutes?), there were many other restaurants, bakeries, and shops we walked by.
We also drove to hiking spots and wineries-- Venturi was the perfect home away from home during a long weekend getaway.

I had to put away the ping pong table set up in the garage to get the car in. Lots of steps. TV hard to navigate. Otherwise convenient, clean and comfortable.

Hood River Vacation
Location was great & the amenities & cleanliness were outstanding. The beds were very comfortable & location is very quiet. This is a very nice home that is well kept. The only reason we don't give it 5 stars is the washing machine is very slow; some times it stops in the middle of the cycle & has to be restarted. Also, the master bath tub drain plug was clogged up & we needed to take it apart to clean it.

As Advertised
This was a fine place to stay as a base for making daily excursions in the surrounding region. This location has access to many interesting things to do and see. The condo was comfortable and quiet.

Perfect!
Venturi is about as good as it gets. Great layout and plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen, excellent location.
The only complaint is the street can be kind of busy and a little noisy.

Nice stat
We were pleased with this condo during our two night stay. Plenty of space for two couples. Only minor issue was master tub was slow to drain. Would definitely stay here again.

The area was wonderful
The area was wonderful and the location was great since it was close to down town hood river! My biggest complaint was with the state of the place, while it appeared nice, some things were damaged or didn't work, and when we got there a lot of the dishes were still dirty and we had to wash them before we could use them. I would rent from them again, but definitely disappointed about the dishes and damages.
4.5
Very comfortable
Our place was very cozy and comfortable. While on the 'budget friendly' end of the rental spectrum, we found this unit to be perfect. Beds were king size and comfortable, unit was very clean and amenities were adequate.
