Underwhelming and overpriced!

It was close to the beach

They moved our room, including our luggage and items locked in the safe without telling us or asking permission. The bathroom was damp and didn’t have sufficient ventilation, so it smelled. The bed was not made, instead they left sheets folded on top and the blanket folded on the couch every day.

The "SUNKEN" rooms in the hotel are lower ground floor rooms (underground) without windows or balcony.

Amazing!!

From the moment we arrived Marios and his staff were so welcoming. On arrival we received a drink, homemade biscuits and a chat about the local area, what to see, where to go and recommendations for dinner. All were spot on! The room was fabulous with a balcony looking over the sea……. perfect. The beach was a stones throw away, it was so peaceful, just what we hoped it would be. On our first evening, we returned after dinner and had a drink in the bar with various complimentary shots!! Marcos was fabulous, so interesting to talk to. We stayed up far longer than intended!! Would thoroughly recommend this place and we will be back!!

Absolute oasis of peace with a fantastic breakfast

We were there for the second time. And were once again incredibly warmly received. A rental car (needed to be able to explore the beautiful island!) was organized for us before we arrived, and it was waiting for us right in the port (despite the delay of the ferry). Then a glass of wine upon arrival, the first tips for a successful holiday and the promise to be constantly available during your stay! Thanks a lot Marios!! The breakfast was an absolute dream, much of it made by his mom herself! Rarely experienced so great in the world! The rooms are all furnished with a lot of love, just to feel good. After just a few steps you are right on the beautiful sandy beach, you can even hear the sea murmuring at night with the windows open... What more could you want!

Quiet and perfect!

Everything was ridiculously perfect! Marios and hs staff were amazing, from welcome drinks to tips on Naxos! Also, it's super quiet and private!

The bed was too soft, but we understand this is a personal issue :-)

Exceptional host, central location, and cozy facilities.

Marios was an exceptional host. From the first moment we stepped on the property we felt like we were with family. He took time to get to know us to provide customized recommendations and was always available to us whenever we needed him. The facilities were wonderful and we had everything we needed. Walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and beaches - we will definitely be back and look forward to another stay at Naxos Island Escape. Yamas!

Exceptional

Our host was PHENOMENAL - such a warm welcome, and took time to show us all the key places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was beautiful. A very short walk to a super beach, and a range of great spots to eat too. Cannot speak highly enough of this place!

Look no further than this Plaka escape

Located at the very end of the developed part of Plaka Beach, this is the perfect hideaway and yet it’s just around the corner from some of the best beach loungers and restaurants on the island. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Marios is the perfect host. He is friendly and welcoming, and will arrange anything you need, including transportation and activities. He helped us refine our itinerary and I’m so glad we took his advice.

Great hospitality, great location, amazing beach!

Breakfast was wonderful - served outside and included local homemade jam and local specialties. Location was amazing - very short walk to the beach and to some good restaurants. It was the quieter section of the beach, so very relaxing.

The room was comfortable but we had our teenage son with us and it was small for three - ideal for a couple.

magical.

The location and staff were perfection. At first I thought I might have stayed too far away but was I wrong.. the beach was the best on the island (personally) it felt like I could walk from my room ( which had two horses grazing out the window) to my own private beach. Mario the host felt like family he handled an ATV to be dropped off for me to get around the island and the breakfast was unlike anything I’d ever had before.. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island.

Awesome beach property with excellent and friendly suite manager!

Marios was fantastic to us! He greeted us with a glass of wine when we got our keys and walked us through a map of the island pointing out the best places to look into. Every morning we were prepared an awesome breakfast and Marios would help us plan out our day to maximize our time on Naxos. The property was beautiful and super close to Plaka beach and we really enjoyed the Jacuzzi in our room!

We loved the place and plan on going back!

Wonderful hosts, excellent value and best beaches!

This was the best place we stayed during our Greek vacation. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. They made sure our fridge was fully stocked with anything we needed, helped organize transfers, and gave great recommendations. The value is immense for what you pay.

Breakfast was good, and Marius is a great host and very willing to help. Room are nice, well equipped, and very clean. Location is excellent, and it is quiet.

Our room had a really bad smell of sewer throughout our stay. Additionally, our room had a ton of mosquitos in it and we got eaten alive while we slept. Literally 27 mosquito bites - I counted!

Great service

The room is really nice and stylish, the shower is fab, and generally the property is very quiet (which suits us perfectly). The owner is incredibly nice and helpful, he arranged a car for us, gave us tips on where to go and generally advice about our stay. The breakfast was delicious and very generous.

The property is advertised as 32sqm, so I was a little surprised when we arrived. It is lovely, but I was expecting something bigger. I also personally dislike toilets that are so exposed to the main room. But I must be a minority as many modern hotels choose to do this.

Amazing place at plaka beach

Marius was the best host, super friendly and helpful. Our baby loved Marius as well (ok he bribed him with cookies, but still counts ;) ). All the staff was super friendly as well. The breakfast is amazing. The room (designed by Marius himself) was lovely and comfortable. The location is really good, short walk from the plaka beach which is gorgeous. Close by there are MANY restaurants, supermarket, cafes.

The only negative thing is that we were in a room on the basement level and the internet connection inside the room was not great.

The location, breakfast, and friendly staff were all more than expected. 😀 It was such a wonderful stay! There are restaurants and an mini market within walking distance as well. Mario is a great host!

Great original Naxos experience!

Marios is a great host, very dedicated to his job and trying to make the whole experience better. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony so that was nice! Breakfast is super delicious - home made!

We knew we needed a car to get to the hotel so is not that I didn’t like it but I leave the comment here for people to be aware
