Magic Place ❤️

The position of the hotel is amazing, very calm with no other houses around, but in 2 minutes you are on the beach and in the center with many tavernas, cafes and supermarkets. also the outside area of the hotel is so beautiful with lots of tables, flowers, a swimming pool with a stunning view on the cretan landscape of trees and mountains. the owner alexandros is very friendly, as i am trying to learn greek he was organizing to give me a greek book. the room very clean and nice view, good shower, comfortable bed. i would always come back to esperides if i go to myrtos.

An amazing little gem in the beautiful village of Myrtos, an excellent value for money! Lovely, spacious room with a nice mountain view, great renovated bathroom, and super convenient mattresses! The best mattresses we ever slept on! The hosts, Mr. Alekos and misses Popi so lovely and kind!Thank you for everything! The pool was also, great, we enjoyed it very much and finally, the breakfast was excellent, made of local tasty products. We really don't understand how this property is rated with only two stars!

Restful, peaceful, perfect.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Every area is very clean, from the pool to the bedroom. Staff is polite, patient and speak English. The owner knows how to make you feel like a guest, spoiled and welcomed but know when to leave his guests their personal space. The area is quite and immerse in the typical cretan nature. Just perfect, especially after spending some time in the north of crete.

Some guests can be a bit noisy, especially when opening/closing the bedroom doors but this is depending on the guests consideration of others.

It was great! Very nice people and great breakfast.

The breakfast was great. Many options, all tasty! Also unlimited coffee! The staff was great as well, they knew us instantly and were very welcoming. They took very good care of us. I would go back :)

It’s position, the fact that it had a lift. That my room had a little balcony That there was hot water all the time

The barking of commands during breakfast by the owner concerning keeping apart from others when pouring coffee or using cleaning gel. I felt I was back at school dealing with bullying teachers (I am 70). I have had both Covid and am double vaxxed. Nowhere in Spain, Portugal, Italy or Elsewhere in Greece (all travelled during Covid) have I seen this behaviour. Really upset me

A cost-conscious gem

I like everything about this place. The early 80s architecture and interiors are cinematic and remind me of old motels in Los Angeles. The view of the mountains is beautiful. The price is incredible, the hotel is clean, and the staff so helpful and friendly. A true gem in Mirtos!

It wasn’t terrible but I would never choose it again

Breakfast was ok although due to pandemia no longer served as a buffet, low quality products, fake orange juice and no fruits and vegetables unless you ask for it. Remember to do it then you’ll get cucumber and tomato.

Very old and shabby room, bathroom and shower the worst I have seen in Greece, clean of course but due to its state terribly unwelcoming

Yet another very relaxing stay at a favourite hotel run by a lovely welcoming family

We have visited this lovely informal hotel several times and always delighted with the friendly welcome from the whole family there. Pool is lovely clean and tree-shaded rooms cleaned daily by friendly very thorough staff. We will be back next year!

Good outside, poor inside.

The outside appearance of the property and its proximity to Mirthos village. The garden and the pool were nice.

The room appearance. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Lack of electric plugs and the existing one was close to being broken. The bathroom was gloomy, old and the shower with curtains could barely fit one skinny person! The breakfast was poor. The 'orange juice' was a light-colored water!

Fabulous as always

Great family welcome. Super clean - gave us confidence in their safety measures. My mums first visit to Crete at 85yrs old & made to feel safe & welcome - loved it.

Comfortable hotel in need of bit of a spruce up outside

Everything else was fine, bathroom was modern and clean,bed was comfortable with pristine bedding,room was spacious. Breakfast was plentiful.

The room on approach wasn't recognisable as the door was different to all the rest and had no number on it, mentioned to the manager on checking out,who apologised,and said it would get rectified.
