A spectacular location, with an amazing room and bathroom. Exceptional cleanliness and beauty. Food and service was first class. Facilities were also amazing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

4.1
Fabulous, natural resort. Amazing spa treatments.
Lovely, attentive staff.
The massive new developments springing up either side in close proximity.
4.1
Friendly and supportive staff, natural and green atmosphere, clean and nice beach
The rooms and facilities follow traditional Vietnamese style about 60 years ago, which makes everything seem old and a little bit creepy (this is just my personal opinion - a Vietnamese man, but it can give a unique and interesting experience to others especially foreigners)
4.1
location and the atmosphere.
Wifi was so poor and weak signal.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The photos don’t show how beautiful the hotel and it’s location really are.
4.1
Everything was OK. Following could have made the stay more enjoyable :
(1) Room Pastel 4 : the shared salon /entrance should be air conditioned
(2) The restaurant was just fair as for example the Australian steak ordered could have been more tender ! Breakfast should also offer Pho ( we had only Hu Tieu).
See section before.

Beach was clean. Salt Water pool was lovely although all sun loungers around it did not have cushions on.
Breakfast was terrible.
Bathroom door very difficult to lock.
maintenance of pools not good.
Slow staff service
Staff unhelpful - laughed at our difficulties!
Could not change currency £ sterling

great location, the best part of the beach, superb service
4.1
clean, central, spacious, convenient
this was the most “western” of the hotels that we stayed at during our stay in a Vietnam. nice but a little bit sterile . the room that we stayed in last night (on 7th floor) was “homier” than the one that we stayed in days prior on the 5th floor. rates changed from 113$ per night to 157$ in thst do avé of time but strangely, this second stay didn’t include breakfast where to first did (at a much lower rate per night). not really a big deal as the breakfast isn’t amazing but we still thought unusual. staff pleasant and helpful but nothing extraordinary

Loved the helpful, friendly staff, loved the bungalows and the salt water pool. I loved sitting in the beach bar in the evening watching the sunset.
The construction noise next door disturbed the tranquility when swimming in the saltwater pool, but the lovely concierge staff had given me a room in the middle of the resort so I couldn’t hear the noise from there. I think the salt water pool is supposed to be for adults according to the sign, but this wasn’t monitored so there were kids using it.

a little bit old
the lights of room are all yellow so its quite murky

Great place, everything was beautiful, people were very nice
Needs a bit more cleaning and maintenance to be perfect

It was very peaceful & the bungalow felt very private.
It’s an older property but comfortable & staff very helpful.
The buffet breakfast was very well presented with a lot of choices.
some things bit run down like missing tiles on pool area,
Bit remote, no buses. could only get taxi to this location & same to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s right on a clean beach but we spent most of time on the property. We loved the large salt water pool, the playground for our 4 year old, and the old structures. We did walk out of the resort on a road with open farms on one side and the forest on the other. We ate at the restaurant of the resort the entire time we were there. The food is decent and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

hotel is beautiful in a very unique, traditional style. 2 pools and beachfront. rooms are far enough from each other to enjoy some privacy
only 1 staff for the spa, had to book in advance as well and couldn’t do a couple massage. pool was very noisy with loads of kids

Lovely room and outdoor bathroom, lots of facilities for both day and night, delicious restaurant and excellent breakfast buffet station. They arranged interesting day excursions.
Probably better suited to longer-term travellers/expats. As we were only in Vietnam for two weeks I wouldn't say a stay here is a must.

We have always loved going to Ho Tram Resort as a family. The staff is always so kind and thoughtful. The authentic Vietnamese food is excellent. The breakfast buffet is great and has several options. The huts or rooms we stay in are beautiful, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The grounds the hotel is on has remained wooded, peaceful, and secluded despite the growth that is going on around them. They are trying to help lower the plastic consumption and are using glass bottles for water and no straws. We went in big groups before Covid and the place was always able to handle our party of 12 or more even making a bonfire on the beach for us once or twice when asked. There is a very camp-like vibe to Ho Tram, (though very nice working AC in each room) and it was much needed after spending so much time in HCMC. We just recently stayed after Covid and the place is holding up nicely, albeit much, much quieter. I hope the place stays exactly like it is for as long as it can hold on despite development all around them. We also love the massages, coconut milkshakes, geckos everywhere, two pools and the outside showers/bathrooms each room seems to come with. All the rooms are unique and every time we have stayed we've enjoyed the comfort of Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort.
Just bring bug spray! Spray all day long to keep sandflies and mosquitos away. This isn't Hotel's fault, just the area of Vietnam. Some times we are bothered with bites, and then some times of the year we never get any bites. Not sure why.

The resort is green, lots of trees and flowers. Simple but good food. The staff is kind and helpful.
The resort needs renewals and repairs. The swimming pools were not well cleaned and the service at the beach did not exist. The beach must be cleaned up from.shells

no comment
the hair dryer is going to failed soon. The water has strong smell

beach was generally clean some plastic waste - unfortunately there is some development either side of the resort ongoing at the time of the stay, although there was no major noise. The pools were very nice and well maintained.

Great breakfast and food with enough variety we didn't get bored after 4 days. Room was lovely, the entire resort was a joy to walk about with plenty of shady spots to sit down and while away the hours with a book. The 2 pools and the ocean gave plenty of opportunities for splashing about.
The spa was closed for most of the time we were there. It was completely closed the day we wanted to go, and then it didn't reopen until after 6PM on our final evening. Considering "spa" is in the name I wish they'd let us know that it was closed; we really were looking forward to some treatments. I totally understand if they can't keep it open all the time, but they should make it clear which facilities will be open/closed before we book. If I'd have known the spa was going to be closed we'd probably have booked somewhere else. If it wasn't for this issue I'd give the "Resort & Spa" 10/10.
