Es ist durchaus zu empfehlen, tagsüber ist es ruhig und angenehm.

Ich hatte einen Bungalow mit Blick auf den Pool, es gab nichts zu beanstanden

Das Frühstück findet in einem großen ungemütlichen Saal statt. Die Qualität des Frühstücks könnte etwas besser sein. So gab es nicht mal Butter, Käse oder eine Wurstsorte Ich habe nicht verlängert, weil früh morgens die Nachtruhe durch einen grähenden Hahn zu Ende war. Dafür kann natürlich das Resort nichts.

No toilet roll replaced, no clean towels, no emptying of the toilet bin.

The staff were lovely, and the setting was beautiful. The upkeep of the room really let our stay down.

We were there for 3 nights. The toilet bin was not emptied once, and it was an open bin, we ran out of toilet roll that was not replaced. And the information book said if we wanted clean towesl to leave them on the shower floor, we did and didn't get clean towels. It was evident no one had been in to clean the room for the whole three days. This is really disappointing,

Beware, these are the few positive things about this accom. The location is very good and it's a short walk from the main centre. It's tucked behind the main route so is quiet at night. Breakfast was adequate, good selection of options, freshly cooked eggs, coffee, juice, fruit etc. Shower was hot with great pressure. Staff friendly and happy to assist. 2 small bottles of water supplied along with sachet coffee/kettle/cups.

We generally don't like leaving poor feedback, however, want future travellers to be aware and manage their expectations. This is not what we would consider a resort. The pictures DO NOT reflect the current state of the accommodation (inside or out). The grounds are unkempt and the buildings and facilities are not maintained. We opted for a garden bungalow and the first one we were offered was in a very poor state. Bedside lamp and one ceiling light not working, a hole in the wall, mouldy smell and just felt dirty - nothing like the pictures/marketing. None of the TV's work and fridges were not plugged in. We asked to be moved to another room, which was marginally better than the first - had this not been the case, we would have moved to another hotel. Fan in the bathroom was not working, there were paint stains and water marks down the walls, the small shelf was pooled with water and the shampoo and soap bottles empty. There is a sign asking not to flush toilet paper, but the bins weren't emptied, nor the room serviced at all during our 2 night stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and extremely hard and aircon struggled to keep the room at temp. The "resort" has so much potential to be such a lovely place (as per the listing's photos). It's a real shame.

Quiet escape

Staff were really accommodating and kind. Location was good and resort was a quiet escape from the town.

Pictures do not reflect current state/ upkeep of the resort. Confirmed that there was wifi in all rooms but when we arrived this was not the case (we work remote so a requirement for us). Staff moved us to a room closer to the router.

Gute, ruhige Lage. Schöne Anlage mit Pool. Möglichkeit Zimmerservice abzuwählen, um Handtücher/Bettwäsche zu sparen. Tolles und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch auf Bestellung zubereiteten Eierspeisen, Pancakes,… Nettes Personal. Viele Attraktionen/Transfere über das Hotel buchbar.

Frühstücksraum könnte mal renoviert werden, wirkt teilweise schon etwas alt und uneinladend. Anlage/Zimmer (hier insbesondere das Bad) teils etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hier könnte etwas nachgebessert werden, ansonsten aber trotzdem alles sehr sauber. Poolliegen sind sehr knapp bemessen zu den vielen Zimmern.

They overcharged and didn’t want to do anything about it when we tried to explain this.

They overcharged is while we needed to pay at the end of our stay. They didn’t kept the price we had on booking.com and they charged 15% charges while this should be incl. In your price. We paid a whole extra night top much. We also tried to explain this, but they didn’t want to change te price. They never cleaned the room in 4 nights, the bed was very uncomfortable en the breakfast was pretty poor… Not worth your money unfortunately

Room: not prepared accommodation for 3persons. Bathroom: the light bulb is burned out, toilet lids broken Location: 500m. to the town center can’t walk. Breakfast: Just normal breakfast.

The breakfast are good with many choices, the room in the traditional building is comfortable.

There is no one to make up the room for us for 5 days, the stuff at the reception should be honest to the customers and do their job better.

Very clean and tidy. Lovely big pool which we used a lot in the hot weather in July. Massive breakfast with many options to help yourself to. Easy walking distance to shops and main town area. Very helpful organising on going travel needs

There wasn’t anything I liked

While the resort is super run down, the cleanliness of the rooms was a major concern. Both room smelt extremely damp and mouldy, and were not clean.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

We booked 3 rooms (bungalow). These rooms are not quite clean. In one of the rooms there were fews dead flies on floor, a dead cockroach on bathroom drain and smelly toilet. In another one of the rooms, there were leaky bathroom sink.

It was ok

Fruit choice and freshly prepared eggs was a nice start to the day. The resort setting and pool was nice.

The bed was rock hard, the wooden structure of the room meant a lot of noise from air conditioning units outside, people coming back all night and roosters early morning. The resort is outside town, you have to cross the main road and then walk across an extremely dusty, wide field which at night is a trucker's stop. It's not far but an unpleasant walk. I forgot a couple of clothing items in the wardrobe and although I left my luggage behind until 3:30 that afternoon, housekeeping obviously did not inform reception and kept the items. That was disappointing.

There is a pool and friendly atmosphere, the breakfast is ok. The staff is helpfull.

hotel near the town shops but in a quiet position with pool.

our room was on the ground floor and the occupiers of the room above us were very noisy and had a fight with slamming doors and heavy footsteps in the middle of the night. I would not recommend staying on the ground floor

The staff are incredibly helpful they made our trip in Vang Vieng truely unforgettable with all their bookings and services it was great value for money too in an amazing location!

RECEPTION V HELPFUL

POOL - Never been in a pool in my life with worse chemistry , eyes instantly stung No food nearby - just one restaurant which was dreadful Menus in LAOS print only , no English spoken and food poor Long walk to another restaurant The noise on both nights was staggering. The acoustics are dreadful with massive amplification of all noise. The cleaners seemed to party early every morning!! Experience saved by delightful reception staff who had to deal with disgruntled clients. I suspect this suits local people much better than foreigners and must be v good value for families.
