wouldn’t go back. ordered food there and it was cold so sent it back and ate elsewhere

we were there for 2 nights, room was tiny, only roof light windows that had no blinds, so we were awakened when the sun came up.

My family put me onto the Plough and their advice proved to be excellent.

I had two breakfasts and one evening meal all of which were excellent. My Friday evening meal was so good that I complimented the chefs personally.

Wasn’t too keen on the outside stairway being old and doddery but still daft enough to use them. Neil warned me in advance which was good but they weren’t too slippery anyway.

A lovely stay in a perfect central location, with à tastefully decorated bedroom and comfy bed.

cosy clean room

Great location and lovely cosy room, was bigger in person than in photos. very clean. breakfast at an additional cost was excellent. staff were very friendly and professional

shower pressure was very poor. TV aerial was temperamental heating in the bathroom was not adjustable making the bedroom too hot when we were getting ready for the evening.

The entrance to the car park could be made more clear, it’s very easy to miss and it is very tight.

Mostly good but lacked attention to detail.

Great location. Very comfortable large bed. Comfortable chair.

Loose toilet seat. Wobbly bedside table. Dented lampshade. Scruffy table.

The door of the room was very heavy and it was difficult to open from the inside without a handle - there was only the tiny handle on the lock.

Very pleasant place to stay the night before my wedding.

Wasn’t clear how to get past security door on first floor back to my room after hours.

Great location

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Room was nice, quite small and a bit hot but clean and comfortable. Perfect spot to get to Alnwick Castle and the Gardens as well. The famous Barter Books is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Food was very nice and again the staff were really attentive.

The bedside lights weren't working but it wasn't really an issue. They did know when we mentioned it and the electrician was due to fix.

Good

School reunion great location bed very comfortable good two nights sleep. Only downside was the water pressure in the bathroom very low. I know it's am issue in Northumberland however the hotel should have put a small note in the bathroom to notify customers, also the system very noisy you can hear others use the bathroom.

No information on how to use the coffee machine. So was not able to use
