Welcome to Timber Ridge - a 3-story custom-built home nestled in the woods on 4 secluded acres surrounded by greenspace. (Not Pet Friendly)
Explore the sprawling property with a stroll down "Miner's Way," a short nature trail along the wooded edge of the yard. Spend the evening seated around the campfire or take in the incredible view of the stars while soaking in the 7-person hot tub. Choose from hundreds of movies on the DVR for family movie night in our cozy "Cedar Theater," or stream your favorite shows on our Roku TVs.
The kids will love playtime at "Saplings"- their own secret playroom tucked under the stairs and just the right size for your tiny tykes. Tweens & teens will love to escape to “Twigs” Game Room, located outside just off the garage, which features a 2-player electronic shootout basketball game, bumper pool, darts, mini shuffleboard, hook & ring, and a 2-joystick video game console loaded with 2,000+ nostalgic arcade games that parents will love too!
Timber Ridge offers guests plenty of quiet spaces to retreat and rest comfortably. There are 3 queen suites (Pine, Walnut & Oak) with private baths on each level of the home. The main level suite features a private balcony and attached nursery (Seedlings) with pack and play, changing table, baby gates & child-size stowaway cot. The spacious half bathroom on the main level accommodates a washer/dryer that is available for guest use. The lower level features two queen bedrooms (Hickory & Maple) that share a full bath, in addition to 2 sets of heavy-duty twin bunk beds (top bunks can support adults up to 300 lbs.) in Slumber Jacks bunk room, a semi-private space located just off the home theater. A queen sofa sleeper is available in the theater as well. 2 of the lower-level bedrooms have private access to the ground-level patio and walkway to the hot tub.
The impressive great room, with a wood-burning fireplace, provides access to a large deck perfect for grilling and outdoor dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook homemade meals for a crowd, including plenty of extra dishes to accommodate large groups. The dining room hosts a massive hand-crafted table with seating for 12 and access to the cozy screen porch.
You will have access to the GTA Owners Club while staying with us. The indoor pool is open year-round, and the outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, a fitness room, a game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, a seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and an outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Please remember that the use of amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not offer discounts or refunds due to their closure.
Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible. We highly recommend travel insurance. Travel insurance is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days before check-in. The provider is CSA.
When you book a home with us, a 30% down payment is required; this is not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check-in. If you cancel before the final payment is due you will be refunded that payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your final payment will be processed, the stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Please NOTE: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older when booking and present the entire stay. Check-in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The emailed check in details will cover this process.

This was the first time my parents, sisters and I have been together on vacation in almost 40 years, and Timber Ridge proved to be the perfect property for our group.The home is nestled in the woods at the back of a private cul-de-sac providing a serene, peaceful setting for gatherings. The rooms are clean and inviting and the furnishings are comfortable. The kids loved the lower level, with the bunk house, theater room, and easy access to the hot tub. The game room next to the garage was a great escape for the younger kids too! If I had to post any negatives, it would be the pillows and the tub in the main floor bedroom. The pillows were flat and could probably use replacing, and the tub has a slow drain so my wife and I were standing in 2" of water after every shower. Small issues to be sure, but worth noting.We would certainly return to Timber Ridge in the future and recommend this property to anyone looking for a property to accommodate a large group.

This was our second year staying at this lovely home. There were eleven of us and we had plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the screen porch, large dining table, hot tub etc. We are looking forward to staying again next summer.

Pure Fun- spacious home with lots to explore. Kids loved the game room, movie theater, and under stairs secret store. Adults loved the hot tub, fire pit, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and huge dining room table. Access to owner's club with pools, courts & fitness center was a nice perk too! A little pricey but we made some great memories- something for everyone!

Our time at TimberRidge was everything we needed it to be. We stayed there (family of 5) with friends of ours (family of 6) and the space worked perfectly for us. There was plenty of space/bed to accommodate our 7 children and 4 adults. The living room was a favorite hangout and we loved the reclining sofas/chairs. We especially appreciated having a table large enough for us all to eat together and the lazy Susans were such a helpful touch! The kitchen was well stocked and we had what we needed in order to cook for our crowd. Our only complaint was the amount of dust around the home. As someone who grew up in a remote.rural place I know it is a never ending battle, but it was very noticeable in some areas (not enough to make the trip unbearable). We have stayed in other homes in the Territories and this home was the first one that ticked all the boxes for our large troop! Thank you for a wonderful stay--we will certainly return!

Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids, aged 7-11, had a wonderful weekend. It was too cold for outdoor activity but there was lots to keep everybody entertained in the roomy house and separate game room.
We were gathering for a late Christmas celebration and were happy to see the Christmas tree and decorations around the house.
We contacted the service for early check-in, and again with a problem with the game room door lock, and our concerns were handled quickly and courteously.
We would consider using this house again and recommend it to others.

This is the 5th year our family stayed at Timber Ridge to celebrate Christmas and we’ll keep coming back. The game room and Sapling room are great for keeping kids entertained. The home is secluded behind trees and has beautiful surroundings. The dining room and table is large enough for everyone. The beds are the most comfortable of any rental we’ve stayed at. Our family loves this house.

Our extended family of 11 (4 - 69) LOVED our long weekend together at Timber Ridge!!! The 5 kids had fun with ALL the special spots…the Secret Store, the Game Room, the Movie Theater, the Fire Pit and the Hot Tub!!! Lots of spaces for the adults to relax in as well. We were enchanted by the history of the home and all the little touches that went into creating such a unique getaway haven. We were all sad when it was time to ring the bell and say good-bye…..but we’ll be back for sure!!!

This was the perfect place for a family of 12 to enjoy the area of Galena. The various rooms allowed for family to find a place for their own needs as well as the living room that allowed for all of us to gather together. The game room and toy area under the stairs was a hit with the children along with the movie theatre. The screened in porch was a perfect place to begin the morning with the sunrise. The owners have made this place feel like home and we appreciate them opening it up for rental for us to enjoy.

We had a wonderful time visiting Galena with our close family friends. The house was great for our two families with young kids. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room and kids play area under the stairs. All of us enjoyed the hot tub and theater room with access to Disney+. The many rooms allow3ed us all to have our own space while still being able to enjoy each other's company.Access to the Galena Territory Owner's Club is a great perk - we went swimming almost every day! The historic downtown isn't too far away, so we were also able able to enjoy everything downtown Galena has to offer! The rental company was very responsive when we had questions. On our last day, we headed to Mississippi Palisades State Park which had some amazing scenic views of the Mississippi River and some nice hiking trails. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay in Galena and Timber Ridge - especially groups of families (we could easily have fit another family along with the two of ours).

Long Easter weekend was our Christmas gift to our family! Our family has rented this home during December for the past 5 years to celebrate the holidays together. It truly has something for everyone. Plenty of toys (including a crib, pack-and-play, high chair, booster seat) for the wee ones. A home theater for the adults, pre-teens, and teenagers, and a separate game room where we have fun competitions. Everyone enjoys the fireplace and hot tub during the winter. And as if that's not enough, there's the Owner's Club with a pool and other amenities. The house is always clean, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the dining room with its amazing table is the right size for the whole family. Love this home and wouldn't think about going anywhere else for the holidays.

We were lucky with perfect fall weather last weekend and the perfect property to enjoy it. The new family room furniture and outdoor deck furniture were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. The game room and movie room are favorites of my grandchildren:) We enjoyed hiking in the beautiful wooded areas, s'mores at the firepit, tennis games, and of course the quaintness of Galena.I also appreciate how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms are, but I would make a suggestion about perhaps replacing the cookie sheets in the bottom drawer of the stove. This was our second visit and we will be back!!!

Family fun In a cute cabin!
Great property and we all agreed that it should be a five star. There wasn’t anything missing and entertained a two year old to a 70 old. Both clean and comfortable. We loved our vacation at the property and felt like the owners were family.
