Breakfast items were missing: bread but no jam or butter. The second day no breakfast bad was delivered at all, they simply forgot! There are stairs in the room which don't appear in the pictures. Room door is old and does not close properly. We called the reception through the two available numbers but nobody answered. How is a guest supposed to contact the staff when nobody is around? Dirty kitchen and even dirtier bath and shower rooms
Good location. Big room. Comfy beds.

The room was ok for this money
Toilet was so bad. Not clean and smell bad

The room and shared bathroom are clean. Conveniently located
The WiFi is not desirable as wifi is intermittent and not consistent. There are some areas within the hostel where there is no WiFi. The hostel Definitely need to upgrade their wifi system.
They should install a cctv in the shared kitchen as some of the guests do not wash up or clean the cooking areas after cooking their meals.

The room was nice and spacious, plus you can't really beat the location since the hostel is really central. The breakfast is left by your door the day before inside a little paper bag with your name and a little smiley face, which is really nice.
The wifi was kind of slow

the location was great, the staff was nice, it was overall very clean. There was a simple breakfast every morning, which I think for what you pay is very good. Separate male and female bathrooms was very nice and the bathroom itself was clean and spacious. I had a nice experience here and would recommend.
In the shared dorm room I was the only girl with 9 men… All of them were a bit older so I would say if you’re young and looking to make friends, this is not the place. But this was ofcourse my experience.
Also, there was no privacy in the room. Some curtains around the bed would’ve been very nice and the bass are pretty close to each other.

The staff is superb. Very friendly and helpful. Did so much for me and the others
It’s just difficult to stay in a room with 7-8 other people. But that’s hostel life

the bed sheets.
The toilet, the lack of security on the premisses with crazy guests disturbing the peace, the cold water showers and absolute dirtiness of the floor took me back to the army days, but paying 13 euros for that.

The location is great, inside city walls, this hostel is walking distance from all highlights and close to lots of nice restaurants. Parking nearby is not easy and you will always have to walk up the street.
The Room had plenty of space and was clean. The check on process was easy and all done remotely.
The Room Doors are veeeeery old, they close badly so, they dont block any sound. There was always lots of noise coming from the toilets, from the kitchen, from the hallways...
We didnt see any staff during the weekend and the reception door was always closed. Its not an actual problem, the thing is, the toilets need much more regular cleaning...
Breakfast should have cheese and instead of white bimbo bread they should have whole bread. Soluble coffee is not acceptable nowadays with the variety of coffee capsules we havd nowadays.

I really liked the staff, they were super kind and helpful. The owner also has a vegetarian restaurant close by that I absolutely adored after so many days of heavy Alentejano food (don't take me wrong, I love some good old comfy food, but it's good to have variety).
The Hostel was clean, and spacious, with great facilities and a wonderful Rooftop balcony in which I delighted myself with Stargazing in the evening.
Everything was great, price-quality relationship.

The hostel's got a great location because it's right at the historic centre, and the famous monuments of the city are just a few minutes away on foot. The staff was quite friendly and the free breakfast was fine.
The hostel was a bit hard to find when I went there for the first time. Also, the shared bathroom and kitchen didn't look very clean.

Location was decent
No one was at the hostel to drop bags off early which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast wasn't very good (A pear, kids fruit juice, packaged mini muffin). No good common area to socialize or effort made for guests to interact with eachother.

I hate writing negative reviews when the staff is very friendly and welcoming but the staff here were wonderful. It's also pretty cheap. Location is great.
This isn't a traveler hostel. It's an immigrant worker's accomodation disguised as a hostel. There is no traveler or hostel vibe. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting and the hostel was overall just grimy and unappealing. The breakfast was horrible.

Very nice room and very close to the city centre!
If the door of the room would have closed properly...

This hostel was excellent in so many ways, especially the helpfulness of the staff and the comfortable room. The females' bathroom was very well fitted out. Breakfast was simple but good.
We thought it would be great staying so close to the heart of Évora centre, not realising just how noisy Raimundo street would be! There is a 24hour grab and go vending machine place opposite the hostel, where 10-20 teenagers & young adults would gather anytime from 9pm to 6am every night! Also, there were some local workers staying at the hostel who thought it ok to start shouting at their friends from 5am. We mentioned this noise problem to the staff, who did speak to people about being quiet. Another problem was guests not tidying the kitchen after themselves... seriously, there were some right pigs staying there! Someone boiled milk in the kettle, leaving it brown inside and unusable! Also, there are a lot of steep stairs, so be warned!
