About this apartment rental
This is our dream home and community. We are literally one block from town and surprisingly secluded on a little known section of Sherman Avenue.
No expense was spared in building this brand new home.
After a year of not renting because of COVID we are back, vaccinated, ready to provide a sanitized safe environment and looking forward to 2022.
Hood River Certificate/License No. 674
New Parklane king-size bed that actually splits into two twins. Just ask for us to split them. Its no problem.
The space is open, airy and partially sub-terrain. The room naturally stays a cool and even temperature. Even though it is set back into the hillside you are elevated from the road which gives you a better view and sense of privacy.
You have your own private entrance and completely separate living quarters. You are not sharing your space.
Jon loves to kite, windsurf, road bike, mountain bike, hike, dirt bike, snowmobile, snowboard, alpine ski, cross country ski, snowshoe, SUP and kayak.
Nancy is learning how to kite, does yoga every day, road bikes, hikes, cross country skis, snowshoes, kayak's and SUP's.
Just let us know what you'd like to do when you're here. We'll let you know where to go and/or just plan an adventure with you.
We have room for you to store your bikes, boards, etc., hot water to hose stuff off and a great place to let your wetsuits hang dry.
We've owned this lot since 1991. It had another home on it that was rented and a favorite for visitors because of its location. We just underwent a 2+ year demolition and rebuild. Many of those who stayed at our old home are now permanent Hood River residents. This new home is WAY better.

The listing description accurately describes the property. Parking was very convenient and easy close to downtown. Very short walk to winery tasting rooms and food. Check in process was easy. The room had all the needed amenities and was clean. Bed was very comfortable. We had an opportunity to meet the owners, they were very pleasant and kind.

Had a wonderful 1 year anniversary weekend. The property was perfect. This was such a cozy place for us with perfect walking access to DT Hood River and to the event site/sandbar for our water activities. Couldn’t have asked for better hosting and cleanliness. Truly enjoyed this property, and will for sure return again soon!

White cap is a comfortable and perfectly located studio in Hood River. It’s a short walk to all of the downtown amenities. We had a great stay.

This studio was in a great location for Hood River and had all the amentities we needed. We did not spend much time in it as we were in Hood River to get married and we're at other events and locations but the time we were there was great. The host very kindly put a bottle of sparkling at the door on the day we got married too, and that was a kind surprise to come back to. Only odd thing is the parking is reserved by a traffic cone, you move it away to park. But no issues with that.

Needs some reading lamps and tv was a bit difficult to turn on since was not connected to internet- but once we figured that out it worked fine

Nice little studio within walking distance of downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

As advertised-small space but comfortable. Great for one person.

Great location, walking distance from the Main Street area. Very comfortable and well equipped.

We stayed for 2 nights very comfortable bed. Location was perfect parked the car and walked into town, climbed the 413 stairs up the hill to a nice hike by the river. Great views of the river from the room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend in Hood River. Super close walk to the "downtown" road. Had a really comfy bed, was nice and bright, and had what I needed (no full kitchen, but great for short stay). Thanks for a lovely stay!

The only thing I would recommend the bed was a little too firm for my liking and need better bathroom lighting not good for makeup lighting. Other than that it is a great place to stay with delicious local coffee.

We flew into Portland for a wedding in Hood River and needed a convenient place to stay. Upon entry, we noticed how clean the condo was, and how cute it was decorated. Because it was so conveniently located to the downtown area it was a great location for walking to lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed driving over to the Tanamadas (sp.) hiking trail which was absolutely gorgeous! After the Wedding, we took an extra day to drive over to Cannon Beach. Got some great photos of: Haystack Rock & watching the local dogs play in the sand. We would highly recommend this condo again! 😁

Great location and home base for cycling excursions! Walkable to the downtown core and waterfront to watch kite surfing. Perfect space for a couple!

Clean and just the right size for me.
Spent most time out & about in Hood River.
Visited Mount Hood and various locations with my extended famy members.

Great location, friendly property owner who gave us tips about the area. Comfortable beds and felt very secure with our stay. Thank you John we really had a great time visiting Oregon!

Large, clean, modern studio unit. Great location, just a few block walk to all the downtown shops. Ideal street parking in front of the unit. Owners are in the 2 story building above. They are super nice, and go with your flow: if you want info, they are really helpful with advise on the city, and places to eat, info on watersports. Front porch is a great place for a morning coffee or afternoon drink. Quiet, safe street. Would stay here again for sure. Nice trees and wooded street, so during our summer visit did not have a view of the river.

We had a very pleasant stay! Clean, comfortable, and excellent location near downtown!

It really was a nice space, besides the fact that we always sleep with a window open, and this space only had the glass front door, and one small window that was filled with an AC unit. Nothing we could open for fresh air at night! And barely any natural light, if we wanted the door curtains closed for privacy (doors open onto the road, so we generally needed them closed).
The first night we slept with the very loud AC on, as well as a terribly loud ceiling fan. It was pretty awful for both of us, noise wise. The last two nights, we figured out how to put the AC unit on fan-only, which was more tolerable for sleeping, and skipped the ceiling fan altogether.
The little mini-fridge had a basically unusable freezer; it was so overcrusted with ice I could barely fit an ice pack from my cooler in there.
Two people could hardly share the tiny shower as well. We could also hear every time the owner in the unit above flushed the toilet, or when their phone rang, etc. It was a bit surprising to feel that intimate with them.
Other than that, the stay was great. The building itself is very beautiful, the space was clean and had everything we needed. We met the owner the first day and he was friendly and nice.

Very clean, cozy, quiet! just enough space for two. Great location! Down one block and youre right in the heart of Hood River. No need to drive anywhere as we enjoyed the activities in town.
Friendly home owners that live above the little condo.
Overall very friendly town. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and proximity to downtown Hood River. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping. The studio has all amenities you would expect from a cool crash pad. Owners are very welcoming and a pleasure to chat with.

This location is perfect to stay in Hood River to walk and be close to everything. Would definitely stay there again when visiting.

My husband and I had a great time in Hood River! The apartment was easy to find and had everything we needed! We loved spending some time on the front porch area and meeting our hosts! Convenient location as well- super close to the downtown area but on a nice quiet street.

Very nice property. The pictures and description were accurate. Would stay here again.

We came to Hood River for our anniversary. The place was clean and had everything we needed but the location what especially won is over. We were able to walk everywhere and were only two blocks from the main center of town.
4.9
Overall the place was great. Had all the necessary amenities and was very close to downtown. Two things we did not care for was no assigned parking and that the unit was right under the owners. I didnt understand that it was a superhost unit. Please dont take this the wrong way but the floor was thin and the owners were earlier risers we didnt feel alone.

Very clean and comfortable. Great central location. Prime parking spot just in front of unit. Easy to operate coded access and locking door device. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Easy access to all that matters. Efficient space, comfy bed, nice features. Cement floors FTW!

The location was easy walking distance to downtown HR without the noise or traffic, the bed was VERY comfortable - and it had everything we needed. Simple sweet space. Would totally stay there again!

Nice, cozy studio
-toaster didn’t work
-would be nice to have a small table on end of couch to put coffee on
-would be nice to have a rug between dresser and bed as cement floor is cold in winter
-would also be nice to have instructions for tv and list of available channels

Clean with everything we needed close to town with very friendly hosts

We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay! After exploring the surrounding areas, we quickly realized we were staying in the best location. Close to hiking trails, shops, restaurants, and the Fruit Loop! Had a nice, big breakfast at Bette’s :)

We loved the cottage! It was in pristine condition and the location was perfect.

We had a wedding in White Salmon this fall - just across the river from Hood River. The town is super fun. There are a lot of great restaurants and outdoor activities in the area - and this property is a short walk to the center of town! It was a great location.
The hosts were friendly and available if we needed them. The property was clean. The shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this property and Hood River!
Just as an aside, the location is uphill from the center of town. We didn’t mind the hike up hill, but thought I’d share!
