Wonderful stay for our group. Great value for the money. Easy walk to SGU for dinner. Short drive to everything else. Property manager and local staff are super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, welcoming home, situated in a nice residential area with views of the water. Not far by car to the supermarket or to Morne Rouge beach. A maid came 3 days each week tidy up. There was a plunge pool also clean. The internet failed because the line was rubbed by a nearby tree. The owner worked tirelessly to get it fixed.

On paper this villa is beautiful, however exposed ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT outside which have the potential for danger or even death ! when it rains and the water runs down the standard lamp were a major concern as there was no outside circuit breaker and in the U.K. THIS WOULD BE ILLEGAL and condemnable. ALSO Far too many cables and adapters internally for appliances that are broken or unnecessary and also creat a dirt trap, making it difficult for the cleaner. The place needs a serious deep clean ! And Everything needs up dating ! EVEN the kitchen cupboards smelt damp and the lighting in the kitchen was inadequate. A large leech was found making it’s way across the kitchen floor one evening ! with other dried up ones found around the patio. We had read that the cleanliness of the pool had been an issue in the past as it was dirty around the rim . . This time We thought it was old suntan cream around the pool but it was ground in grime that the pool cleaner needed to blast off as he could not shift it. THE MAJOR hazard was the steps down into the pool, theses were so loose my partner twisted his knee getting into the pool and spent the rest of the holiday wearing a brace when ever we went walking. The owner emailed to say that she only ever jumps in the pool and uses the steps to climb out ! In the 2nd and final week of out stay The pool man said he would fix it but he never came back and as a result of the combination of both issues I felt unable to use the pool . . Which was one of the reasons I booked it in the first place. The wardrobe doors whilst quaint Venetian last style are wobbly and unstable and I trapped my hand in them trying to close them . . . The shower needs better draining as it takes so long to empty you end up paddling in soapy water. And finally the light switches have been added on and on over time, consequently it takes you a fortnight to work out which ones actually do which job .I am sorry it’s so negative but the villa is so cluttered with unnecessary stuff and so out dated it actually makes the holiday hard work as well as a potential for something dangerous happening. I notice that most people have been positive on this place because of location and have also commented on the beauty of Grenada . .I cannot fault either of those qualities. . But this place needs some serious love and attention to bring it up to the stars it’s being advertised as ! Would I go back there NO, WOULD I GO BACK TO GRENADA YES ! !

We had a wonderful time staying at this property.

Its even better now than before - August 2018
We have stayed at this villa in the past so had certain expectations, so imagine our surprise when we realised quite quickly it had gotten even better. Within seconds of walking through the door our two eldest girls (9 and 3) had their swimsuits on and jumped into the warm crystal clear pool whilst myself, my wife and youngest daughter (6 months) explored the house. After nearly a 3 year absence from staying here we noticed that every room still looked fresh and clean, plus the back bedrooms en suite shower had a total renovation, we also had a suspicion that the sea facing bathroom had a new bath, basin and toilet installed but couldn't be 100% sure. Maybe the owners can clarify that? However the three little tweaks to the villa that made the biggest difference to our month there was the instillation of air con units in each bedroom and front room. If you have ever visited Grenada or another Caribbean island in the past you will know just how annoying those little critters can be, but with the air con running in the late evening and early morning we hardly noticed them and only picked up a couple of bites. The other really pleasing thing about our stay was seeing the staff (cleaner Janet/gardener Franklyn) who by all accounts have worked at the villa for years. Janet is such a sweet lady and very experienced with children and on one occasion was able to baby sit for us ($50 EC) whilst myself and the wife experienced an adult night out eating, drinking and listening to the latest soca music. Franklyn (a vegan who lives a humble lifestyle) who I had befriended on a previous trip was again such a pleasure to see again. After a brief chat with him about herbs and spices he returned a couple of days later armed with his own organically grown vegetables, fruit and various herbs (local coriander, local basil, thyme, chives, local lemon grass and french thyme, mangoes and avocados). Despite him saying that he didn't want much for his produce I gladly handed over $50 EC dollars because I knew that to buy this amount of organic food in a store in the UK or Grenada would cost me at least twice as much. I still maintain that it was the best $50 I spent on the island. With so much information in the villa about places to visit etc, during our stay we took every opportunity to see the sights and have totally fallen in love with the island again, we literally can't wait to come back. Grenada Villa keep up the good work.

We came to Grenada, an island we know and love, at the last minute for some much needed R and R. From the minute we arrived and were welcomed by Philomena, the stress started to dissolve. The house and pool were immaculate and we just couldn't wait to unpack and collapse. Our bedroom was gorgeous and very comfortable and Janet who came a few times, made sure it was all kept spick and span. As we were on a very laid back break and had been to the island many times, we didn't venture out much. However when we did Natalie and her taxi were always on hand to deliver us wherever. Sunday lunch at the Aquarium is always a must for us and where better to stop for lunch after the walk along Grand Anse than Umbrellas on the beach. Wonderful, and large!, chicken Caesar salads we also used the University Club for great lunches and the perfect spot for sundowners on the beach. We had a wonderful time and really didn't want to leave. On our last night there was a full moon and clear sky, what better for a midnight swim!!!!

A Wonderful Home in the Sunshine
A lovely home in a serene residential area, suitable for early morning walks or afternoon jogging. A mile walk to the local beach, an excellent scuba outfit, and a handful of nice restaurants, but do rent a car or be prepared to negotiate the local bus system, because the rest of the island as well as the grocery shopping is a hilly distance away. The house itself was clean and delightful with an indoor pool in the patio area.
The owner helped us organize and arrange our whole stay, from car rental to pick up at the airport, to first night's shopping waiting for us in the fridge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

10 days of privacy and relaxation
I came to stay at Park Drive for 10 days without the children!
What can I say, I had a wonderful time . Janet and the team that run the house in the owners absence were all so helpful and friendly I felt at ease immediately.
I've travelled a lot around the Caribbean and this is the first time I have rented a whole villa i was a little worried as to what I would find, but the house has everything I could need and then some! From great overhead showers to a panini grill and beach toys if only I had brought the kids. Hahaa
I hired a car for my stay and took to spending my mornings exploring the island, cooling my toes in the natural waterfalls to finding wares and produce in the markets. The fish market is amazing and the sellers are eager to help you, fresh fish, cleaned and gutted in one go.
Back at the house, grilling on the BBQ under a blanket of stars. It's amazing that you forget just how many there are in the sky.
Grand anse beach is a good beach and I would recommend contacting the school of the blind and booking a massage the best 90 mins that makes you feel regenerated. The price is extremely welcome to. They do all types of massages so it's really worth a visit
Umbrellas for afternoon lunch was good, and it was nice to see all the local expats hanging out.
The other places that I ate at were
Aquarium
Carib sushi
Port Louis
Although the green chicken curry needs a little work on it
I sadly didn't make it bb's crab back although I was told it was great but I shall makes sure it's on the list for next time!
Overall I found my stay perfectly relaxing the house is situated overlooking a quiet bay and so you can open up all the windows and just bask in the cooling sea breeze and for those that prefer the artificial form the AC units in the bedrooms and living room work perfectly.
Coupled with ceiling fans and standing fans, no mossie stands a chance of settling!!
it really was a wonderful trip and I most certainly will be returning to both Grenada and the villa only with the children as once they saw the pool in my pictures and heard how I had dipped in at midnight I was sworn to a promise to return
Thank you everyone and I look forward to my return and making new memories

On arrival Monday 10 October, the pool was like pea soup, green and opaque. It was not fit for use for 6 days. There was no hot water as both the gas boiler and electric heater were not working. We had cold showers for two days. The ceiling fan and 50% of the lights were not working. We could not use the standing fans as they were covered in rust, grease and dirt. The cable television was not working. The internet broadband connection failed after two days. The gas boiler failed again two days after being fixed when the pilot light went out. I managed after several attempts to restart it. The electric water heater failed again on the Friday. The advertised gourmet kitchen (circa 1950) contained a miniature microwave, a rusty stove an old fridge freezer, worn cupboard doors and clutter everywhere. The advertised icemaker was two plastic trays in the deep freezer. The washing machine found in a filthy cluttered storage room was an ancient top loader which we were advised after arriving not to use as it would ruin our clothes. The alternative machine was not working and nothing was planned to replace it. We were advised three days before our departure that the advertised daily maid service was in fact only three days a week. The property was generally tired with plaster falling off the walls, sliding doors that needed shouldering to open and rattled in the wind (we were provided with rubber wedges to stop the rattle) and chunks of brick had come away by one of the windows.
We spent Tuesday through Saturday with a constant stream of workmen disrupting what was supposed to be a peaceful holiday. By Saturday evening things seemed to have settled when the electrician left. At 2.00am Sunday morning we were woken with the sound of running water and an inch of water covering the floors of the bedrooms. The leak was from the electric water heater above one of the wardrobes soaking clothes stored therein. We spent the next five hours moping and bailing water before a neighbour turned the water off at the mains. We now had no toilet facilities or any running water for washing after working half the night to limit any damage to the property. The plumber arrived at 8.00am but could not locate where the leak was coming from or why it had occurred. He was unable to guarantee it would not happen again. It was at this point we decided to leave.

Quiet lication
I stayed in the property for a month in July-August. This is in a great location that is tranquil. The property is comfortable and kept clean by Janet the housekeeper. It is well equipped and I was able to cook great meals daily. The pool provides welcome relief from the heat. Prickly Bay Marina is within walking distance and the University Club is across the road. The host communicated well from the moment I made the booking and kindly allowed me to stay late on day of departure. The real gem of the holiday was Natalie the taxi driver whose hospitality was exceptional. She was able to take me anywhere I wanted regardless of the hour day or night with extra care for my personal safety.

What a Gem!
My husband and I stayed in this lovely Villa for three weeks in March, the weather was glorious. We had a wonderful time. The Villa is located at Lance Aux Epines in a residential area surrounded by other lovely properties. It is a beautiful part of the Island, very quiet and tranquil.. The Villa is charming, it stands in its own grounds with a lovely garden and sea views, it is very secure and we felt safe all times.. It has two bedrooms and is kept spotlessly clean by Janet who is a real treasure. It was a home from home for us with everything and more that you could possibly need.. The furniture was very comfortable and well looked after and the added bonus was the large plunge pool where we spent a lot of time.. The booking process was easy, the owner was very helpful, answering all our questions promptly. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the villa (charge for this service) our driver Natalie was really good, she stopped at the supermarket for us to buy some groceries which was a great help. We also used her for another trip to the supermarket during our stay There are a few local beaches within five/ten minutes walk, we thought the nicest was at the university club where you can use their facilities as long as you buy a drink. We think the best beach on the Island is Grand Anse, we spent many a happy hour here.( car needed) We hired a car for part of our stay and toured all round the Island. Road signs are practically non existent, but we had all day so it did not matter. We also used Mandoo's Tour and Taxi service for a private day tour. We wanted to see the real Grenada and Mandoo did not disappoint, he was an amazing gentleman, like a walking encyclopaedia, we saw parts of the Island that tourists would not know about, the highlight of the day was seeing and feeding a Mona monkey. Well worth the money, we would certainly recommend Mandoo. We ate at some lovely restaurants. The University Club was our favourite, less than five minutes walk from the Villa. Calabash and Rhodes Restaurants were also good.. We would not recommend the Marina at Prickly Bay, we had a terrible meal here. We loved the Villa and Grenada, the smell of the spices and the wonderful flowers were amazing, it's a beautiful Island and the people are lovely.
We would recommend the Villa to anyone. Thank you Veneta for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Wonderful week
My family of three stayed at this wonderful villa which happens to be in the nicest part of Grenada, we were very fortunate to have found this place as it suited us perfectly, there are several good restaurants close by such as prickly bay marina and the junction also there is a brand new brewpub ,(West Indies beer company) that can't be missed. I would definitely recommend this villa and the owner is amazing at keeping in touch with any questions you may have
