About this villa rental
Alghero, in a wonderful setting, completely independent villa.
Villa Turchese, of an ancient and reassuring beauty, ideal for 8 people on two floors with air conditioning in all bedrooms.
There are places in the world that give you the feeling of having a more colour-sensitive view. Ancient places that make us make peace with ourselves. Villa Turchese, in Alghero, is one of these places. A magical villa. An ancient villa, which as such must be chosen, loved and respected.
The tranquillity that this place will give you is unique. The town of Alghero is very close, less than 1 km away, yet it seems so far away that you can enjoy the calm within the walls of the garden among the mulberry trees.
From the terrace of the villa the view of the sunset over the sea will be marvellous.
Villa Turchese is a cosy old farmhouse dating back to the seventeenth century, almost in the centre of Alghero, recently restored with taste and care, preserving the old architectural features and the original materials, such as the beautiful terracotta and wooden floors. The villa is located in a green setting on the outskirts of Alghero, only 2 km away from the sea and the centre. All services can be reached on foot in 5 minutes or by bicycle.
Villa Turchese, of an ancient and reassuring beauty, completely independent, is ideal for 8 people, and consists of two floors divided as follows:
Patio: with access to the courtyard with lawn, swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests, porch, outdoor furniture, shower, barbecue.
Ground floor living area: living room with fireplace, lounge and garden view, kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, bathroom with shower and television with HDMI.
First floor sleeping area: 4 double bedrooms with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms.
The furnishings are comfortable, in rustic style. The house is located in a quiet position on the outskirts of the characteristic town of Alghero, which is 2 km away.
Its location within a fully fenced property offers the necessary privacy within the flowering garden adorned with flowering plants and fruit trees, creepers and flowers, where you can relax in the shade of the trees and in the cool of the private pool.
The location is ideal for visiting and discovering the beauties of Sardinia and the many cities of art in the north of the island. Distances: Alghero 2 km, Airport 14 km, Portotorres 32 km, Speranza beach 5 km.
The villa is not shared with anyone, therefore the entire property is available to guests including, outdoor area (lawn) with furniture and swimming pool with outdoor shower (cold water), porch equipped for outdoor dining, barbecue.
Parking within the property.
The neighbourhood is only 1.5km from Alghero, very quiet, no noise, no noisy neighbouring streets.
A car is always recommended; if you don't have one, we recommend renting scooters.

Bagni no comment .
Lapide vicino al portone d’ingresso .
Proposta e foto ingannevoli .
Sconsigliatissima !!!

Lovely setting, close to Alghero
We have just returned from a very pleasant stay in Villa Turchese. The property is spacious and comfortable but the real beauty of the place is it's spacious grounds, well maintained pool and panoramic views from the roof. Gennaro the owner could not have been more helpful. We did encounter an electrical fault with the dishwasher and a problem with sediment in the water, but Gennaro was immediately available to help us, though I suspect a property of this age requires on-going maintenance. As there is no air conditioning at the property, I would suggest a visit out of season would be more comfortable and perhaps a few extra fans would have helped keep us cool. It was 35 degrees most days during our stay! Gennaro's Agent, Mercedes was incredibly helpful to us and organised our car hire which we had not arranged in advance. She had lots of tips and advice on places to visit, restaurants and activities and it was reassuring to know we could contact her at any time. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday!

Super Aufenthalt

Alcune camere troppi calse e ventilatori in dotazione vecchi

This is a beautiful property, set in spacious grounds with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Close to the Old Town, but far enough away not to be affected by traffic noise etc.As our flight was not until 22.55, the owner allowed us to stay well beyond the normal 10.30 departure time. The only down side, which somewhat spoiled our holiday , was being charged 230 euros for electricity. The advertisement says, use of pool 50 euros, but apparently, this is only for keeping the pool clean, something I would expect as the norm. You then have to pay for the electricity which the pool-pump etc uses!In addition, there are security lights which come on and stay on through the night adding to the costs. We have stayed in many villas around the world, including Alghero, and have never before suffered this charge. The owner does not show you the meter on arrival, just presents you with a bill for the electricity he says you have used. Unfortunately, the owner takes a 300 euro deposit on arrival, which is then used to pay for the electricity, so you have no choice but to pay, as he has your money. As I said before, this spoilt what should have been a really great holiday. So come on Genarro, get your act together and stop leaving guests with the feeling that they have been ripped off.

Just stunning
The Villa was just beyond all our expectations, the history of Villa Turchese and the people whom have lived there is very impressive. The rooms, the old furnishings, the stunning gardens which are so well looked after and the very impressive infinity pool. This is by far the best place to stay when visiting Alghero.
This house is old and need respect, but living there, also with some small problem, has been a blessing for all of us.
The owner is very friendly and always available if there are any questions that you may have, he goes out her way to make you feel very welcome, so thank you so much Gennaro and I can not wait to book with you again in the future.

Traumhafte Buchten!

Exceptional home with a touch of antique
Exceptional home with a touch of antique. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Very well equiped, perfect for a family vacation. The garden is beautiful and perfect for outdoor dinners and lazy hangouts. The location is ideal, close to beautiful beaches but also in the quiet area for a relaxing holiday. Gennaro and Bonaria were very charming hosts, very sweet and always available to answer questions and advise us. We will surely stay there again !

Mooi huis, iets ouderwetse inrichting
Mooi huis, iets ouderwetse inrichting maar alles aanwezig. Aardige, behulpzame eigenaar. Mooi schoon zwembad.
