The property is praised for being spacious, clean, well-equipped, and having great amenities like a pool table and garage. The owners are responsive, offering helpful information and a fantastic stay for families and groups.

Chalet was just fab! Huge open plan living area so you never felt cramped. The pool table was a great hit with age ranges from 17-66! Lots of games to entertain you in the evening as well as UK TV. Found the bakery easily and visited a couple of the recommended restaurants which were also fab! Located just outside of Morzine but easily accessed, as were the local areas by car. The whole family had a great week!

Amazing property large spacious and very clean
Added bonus of having the garage to work/store on the bikes
Communication was also faultless
Only a ten min cycle to the heart of morzine were all the unlifts start.

Fantastic chalet. Well equipped. Any minor concerns promptly resolved via owner or local agent. 25 mins to walk to town centre was fine for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay in the duplex apartment. The living room is very spacious and cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need available. And of course a very nice pool table!
A few suggestions for improvement: the beds are rather short (190cm) and the mattresses are not so comfortable anymore. Also, it would be great if the internet could be improved.
Besides that, everything was perfect!
Last point: it seems that Morzine and its surroundings are as crowded in summer as in the winter so if you look for a quiet little mountain village then it may not be so suited. :-)

We had a lovely week in this well stocked beautiful Chalet. Easy access to the centre of Morzine via the free local bus service. Thank you for a great holiday.

Property was exactly as listed with plenty of space and facilities. Very close to bus stop and facilities, and great value for money!

Lovely chalet in glass and wood in a quiet part of town. Relaxing place to stay in, or straightforward to get into the action of Morzine and beyond.

We had a relaxing week at this property. We had 2 adults and 4 kiddos and there was plenty of room for everyone. We were there during the summer but having the garage in the winter would be a great amenity. Our boys loved playing pool and we loved they did that instead of staring at their phones.

We were blown away when we let ourselves into the chalet on the ground floor and then walked upstairs to the incredible open plan living area. As 2 families staying together with 6 children ranging from a baby to a 10 year old it gave us the perfect environment to keep everyone happy. Comfy beds, plenty of storage and hot showers even when several were running at once! The kids loved having their own bathrooms and even used them to shower occasionally without being asked! The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of games to keep us amused. Although the property is along the valley a little from the centre of Morzine we found the location lovely. The VTT trail to Let Gets is recommended for both walking and mountainbiking- pick it up opposite the bus stop. Having stayed in central Morzine on our last visit, we found that we explored the area more this time. We used the free car park along the Route De La Plegny which is an easy walk either into town or down to the river where you can find Indiana Parc for high ropes, pony rides or continue on to the swimming pool. Loved L'Etale restaurant in town.
Thank you to Peter for his prompt replies to our queries and the fulsome information sent before our arrival. We hope to use Chalet Lucie again in the near future to explore this beautiful part of the world some more.

We have stayed in Chalet Lucy many times over the last few years and it never disappoints. The location is perfect for our group, easy walking distance to town and a fantastic local bakery (5 mins walk away).
The chalet also has a bus stop just outside to allow easy access to the centre of Morzine with your ski gear in tow.
The facilities in the chalet are excellent with a fully equipped kitchen and great entertainment facilities to keep you amused in the evening (including a pool table, which is always great fun!). The property is always clean and comfortable to stay in.
The owner's of the chalet are always friendly and a pleasure to book with. The chalet also has a brilliant information folder with recommendations about local restaurants and ski schools to help your decisions for the week.
Overall great value for money, beautiful accommodation and an excellent location to access the slopes. Highly recommended!

we have been to morzine lot's of times for skiing but never stayed in a chalet as nice, chalet lucie, it has loads of room and everything you need
to make your stay pleasant, we took our 5 children (3 are in there twenties and the other 2 are 10 & 12) All were very happy even after skiing with games to play and dvd's to watch and of course the pool table was the best,it's great that the bedrooms are all en-suite so no arguing for the bathroom, would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family, thank you peter and sue for letting us stay in your beautiful chalet,

We stayed for a week, basing ourselves at Chalet Lucie while we skied in the area. The chalet is really conveniently located for skiing in Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz - a car is needed but all are within 10-15 minutes drive.
We found the chalet was well kept and very well equipped. There was lots of room for 2 families (making up 9 people) in particular upstairs in the living space. The bedrooms are downstairs and all ensuite. There's a huge boot room (effectively a double garage) so plenty of space to get ready for the day and store bags.
The chalet was clean and as described. Booking was easy and detailed and useful information was provided including restaurant recommendations. The owner responded very quickly to questions.
Highly recommended.

We stayed for two weeks in this lovely home. It's situated in a wooded valley 10 minutes away from Morzine by car (free parking throughout the region, which was a bonus). Unfortunately no mountain views, which we missed after having at last year's holiday. The house was immaculate; cleaners were friendly and very helpful. Bonus of a quick clean and change of sheets/towels mid-stay; strangely enough the towels were the only things not to the same high standard as rest of house (though perfectly ok).
The photos/ description on the website do the house justice. All 4 double bedrooms were en-suite with comfortable beds and good storage (loads of wooden hangers). We loved the 'upside-down' nature of the house (bedrooms on ground floor) as this gave a really spacious, open-plan living area. High wooden ceilings with a great panorama through the large windows. It was very easy to either be together or sit quietly on one's own. Nice little seating area which gets the sun, until it disappears over the mountains. Would have liked a couple of comfy sun chairs though! Cooking facilities and equipment of a really high standard, nothing was lacking. Extensive selection of DVDs, games etc which really helped during the variable weather, also good phone and WiFi reception. Plentiful supply of hot water but be patient, it takes a little while to arrive!
Lots of great adventure sports that one can do very easily, must be heaven for mountain bikers (can take bikes up all the chairlifts in the area). Something different for us was watching ice hockey games in Morzine, fabulous! Swimming pool complex good (speedos only) with a smaller indoor area. Would recommend the restaurant - only pool I've been to with champagne and steak on the menu! Very friendly staff.
Great place for walking, especially enjoyed walking from St Jean D'Aulps to the monastery, again great food, simplistic reminiscent of its monastic days. Wide range of restaurants in Morzine ( we liked the Clinic D'Oeil especially) but to be honest, everywhere we went was good; Plat du Jour about €12 per person.
Would definitely recommend this house. The owner has been really friendly and easy to talk to, both beforehand and during our stay.

We stayed at Chalet Lucie in 2010 and again this year (2011). The chalet lives up to the lovely pictures with a great open plan top floor. Good cooking facilities, a large dining table, a pool table, amble seating, Large TV with DVD and Sky, and of course the WiFi, meant that an evening in was an attractive option.
4 bedrooms all with ensuite and plenty of hot water, take all the hassle out of getting in on an evening and getting out on the morning. And as you can see from the photos, the general standard of the place is top notch.
The chalet is a little too far out of town for walking to be a sensible option, but the bus stops are close by. Bus is good for the Morzine Slopes and for the Super Morzine lift (leading to Avoriaz). However, my preference is having my own transport. It makes shopping easy (good supermarket 3 mins drive away), eating in town (5 mins) and my preferred option for Avoriaz, driving to Les Prodains (10 mins ) and catching the chair lift or cable car there. Nice run down at the end of the day straight to the bar at the bottom :-) The chalet has plenty of it's own parking complete with a large car port (2 vehicles).
The chalet was great last year so we decided to return this year only to find it had news owners. They have made some small but extremely useful changes. The garage is now fitted out as a ski/board and boot room. This had been a miss the year before. There is a key system that means if your group splits up there's never any issues with organising who's got the key etc. Extra coat hangers in the hall. Little things that all help to make the holiday enjoyable and hassle free.
Lastly but not least, dealing with the owners was an absolute pleasure. They proved to be both flexible and helpful and I get the impression that they are interested in making your holiday fun. If you're looking at Morzine and you want a chalet sleeping around the 8 mark, I would put this one top of your list.

8 of us stayed here in January 2009 for a week. It was brilliant ! The living room is superb with enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy some great evenings in. With the price of drinks in town this proved to be the best choice for some lively nights in. Roaring log fire, pool table, great balcony, superb kitchen facilities, beatiful leather sofas and large plasma TV - what more could you ask for?
The bedrooms were ideal. All have balconies and en-suite bathrooms and are clean and spacious. Get in quick and grab the master bedroom - its brilliant.!!!
The chalet is on the outskirts of the town centre, but it can be walked in approximately 15 minutes.
I would love to go back here and I would recommend this chalet to everyone.

Last January (2008) we booked Chalet Lucie direct with the ownwers for a very reasonable price. we saw the pictures on the net and assumed it would be adequate for our needs.
It exceeded our expectations in every way and having just returned from a week in Courcheval, I can tell anyone who is interested in Chalet Lucie that the experience is above average.
Morzine is a low resort with fairly limited adventure but dont let this put you off.
A 30 minute journey gets you into the heart of Avoriaz which has enough skiing to last a lifetime.
I wanted to return to CL this year but was overruled by the team who wanted to go to Courche. At 10 e a pint and 6e for a cuppa it was an expensive holiday.
This chalet is 4 starplus and is one of the best we have used in the last 10 years.
It may be that we go back in 2010 if we all still have jobs and I dont get overruled!
