I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, if you want peace and tranquility this is a perfect spot.

It was, and still is, incredibly quiet. so quiet you can hear the waves lapping the beach, and the waves were gentle, not rough.

Nice staff, but ants in the room!

The staff was very friendly and helpful when checking in and out. The beach was great!

The room was good until we got back after dinner and there were ants all over the floor! This made our stay very uncomfortable - we checked out right away in the morning! Also, we wished the beachfront restaurant was open for dinner. TV was also in french

Excellent, pleasant and homely stay in a stunning setting

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the setting amazing - so nice to be welcomed by the friendly staff every morning. The high point of this hotel is its setting - defintively by far the most beautiful beach in St Martin in our opinion. The lunch is also fantastic - wonderful food, a lot of variety and excellent service. The rooms are very confortable although the configuration is very strange and the space is strangely optimized - it doesn’t affect in any way the comfort and the fact that you have a great view on the bay.

I think there could be a little more activities - such as windsurfing or volleyball or why not even tennis. I’m sure there are a couple of hikes to do in the area so it would be great for the hotel to suggest them.

they’ve come a long way since hurricane Irma. many of the rooms are not rebuilt yet.

A lovely time in Anse Marcel

Lovely staff, very attentive, warm and personable. Front desk, restaurant, beach and house keeping services were top. The rooms are getting refurbished after the disastrous hurricane, ours was spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. Anse Marcel is beautiful, as are its people. Highly recommended!

A very good option on the French side of St. Maarten

Quiet location! Friendly staff. Great beach.

The bed, pillows and linen should be of better quality. There are not many options for dining at night, (the hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only) unless you take a taxi or drive to Orient Bay.

One of the best experience you will have in your entire life!!!

This amazing property is located on the French side of Saint Martin. It is hands down one of the best properties I travelled to in my entire life. The resort is quiet, and has an amazing view on a beach that would be the perfect setting for a sequel to the movie The Beach (sorry, Leonardo DiCaprio reference). The food and drinks are all delicious, with plenty of options if you are very hungry or just want a snack by the sea. But most importantly, the staff is just THE best. Friendly, helful and smiling all the time, it was really a pleasure to interact with them. I will forget many names, but thank you Stephane at the reception, Anne & Lea at the restaurant, Jimmy & Jean-Francois at the beach, everyone and each of them will make your stay special, thank you TEAM @ Anse Marcel Beach Resort, we will be back!

Stefan the Property manager treated us like V.I.P's....gave us the tour of the grounds (beautiful) and upgraded my reservation (pleasantly surprised) what a nice gesture. Beach is beautiful and lounges and drink and food service while on the beach is real nice

Relaxing and enjoyable with the choice of beach or pool with friendly staff and great accomodations.

The resort is great if you are looking for seclusion and tranquility. It is nestled between hills and from the outside is very unassuming. The accomodation, restaurant and beach are perfect. The staff is friendly and the property is well maintained. The property is not fully functional after the hurricane in 2017 but you would not be able to tell if it were not for the gutted rooms when viewing the resort from the beach side. Despite this fact, you do not feel like you are in a place that is under construction. It is always quiet.

Mike dislike stems from the fact that the restaurant serves a standard continental breakfast. There is menu service for lunch, but restaurant closes for dinner. The nearest place for dinner or an alternate breakfast is over the hill. There are no delis or shops nearby where you can pick up standard items. You must jump in your car and go over the hill

lovely place I would revisit

the ocean and mountain views are incredible!! the staff is lovely and available, place is clean, spacious, retro design, beautiful tile work, peaceful; the restaurant is delectable and sophisticated in a diverse way, the beach is lovely, and I loved L’Occitane toiletries

mattress too stiff for my preference. . would do well with a light/summer comforter and more pillow variety. Linens were not plush enough for my preference

Superb

Sheyla was fantastic to help us arrive and feel comfy. Stephan helped my extended family (not even staying there) get COVID test for their return trip! I totally recommend this space over any other I’ve seen on the island - if you’re looking of a clean, quiet, peaceful space. You’ll be able to relax on the beach here yet still have drinks or music from the onsite restaurant.
