Soggiorno super confortevole

Casa veramente molto accogliente,pulita,ordinata e dotata di tutti i comfort,perfetta per soggiornare a Scicli . Puoi visitare la città con facilità e allo stesso tempo rilassarti in questa casa super attrezzata. Staff molto gentile e disponibile,ci hanno accolti presso una dolceria modicana vicinissima alla casa ,regalandoci anche un vassoio di biscotti tipici modicani. La mattina successiva abbiamo ritirato la colazione presso la dolceria per potercela gustare in casa. Il parcheggio si trova molto facilmente sulla via principale. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo.

Bellissima casa in pieno centro di Scicli, ottima colazione, perfetto per due!

Antonio ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa, con la tipica ospitalità della Sicilia. Ottimi i dolci prodotti dal suo locale, che ci hanno fatto compagnia nelle nostre colazioni. Ottima la posizione della casa, pieno centro a 5-10 minuti a piedi da tutti i posti da visitare e o i posti dove mangiare. Bellissima la vasca idromassaggio messa a disposizione nello stabile.

Noi ci siamo recati lì in pieno inverno ed è stato facile trovare parcheggio, immagino non sia la stessa cosa in estate. La camera da letto non ha una vera e propria finestra, non è stato un problema per me, ma alcuni potrebbero farci caso.

Proprietari squisiti (come i loro dolci) e un centro storico che è un gioiello.

Il Sig. Antonio è stato estremamente accogliente, disponibile, ci ha dato ottimi consigli su luoghi da visitare e ristoranti, sia a Scicli che nei dintorni, e i prodotti che generosamente ci ha offerto della sua dolceria sono eccellenti. Scicli ci è piaciuta moltissimo, ed è stata per noi la base da cui partire per esplorare anche i dintorni: Modica, Ragusa, il castello di Donnafugata e i luoghi di mare (Marina di Ragusa, Punta Secca, Sampieri). La struttura si trova in posizione centrale e dunque molto comoda.

Noi uscivamo la mattina e rientravamo la sera, dunque non abbiamo trascorso molto tempo in casa. Se avessimo dovuto/voluto starci di più ci avrebbero pesato la scarsa luce e l'impossibilità di tenere le finestre aperte durante il giorno per via dei rumorosi lavori di ristrutturazione che erano in corso nell'edificio confinante con Casa Aruci.

Dolce, dolcissimo weekend a Scicli

Si ritirano le chiavi presso la pasticceria di proprietà dell'host. Sorridente, gentile. Omaggio graditissimo di benvenuto: dei dolci tipici di Scicli appena sfornati, una delizia. Casa pulita, ordinata, con tutto quanto serve ad un turista. Vasca idromassaggio gigante, ben funzionante. Colazione del mattino seguente sempre in pasticceria, che dire, straordinaria. Prima di questa esperienza sostenevo che la colazione del mattino migliore dovrebbe essere salata; ma prima di avere assaporato i dolci della Dolceria Modicana di Scicli......Amici andate a Scicli , oltre al cibo, troverete una bomboniera barocca straordinaria. Palazzi patrimonio dell'UNESCO, gente straordinaria.

Non è una critica, ma un consiglio. Sarebbe auspicabile valutare il posizionamento di un aspiratore nel bagno del primo piano. Tutto il resto ok.

Wonderful place, perfect start to our Sicilian adventure.

Our host was amazing. He is so generous and gave us a great recommemdation for dinner. The breakfasts and biscuits are amazing. We loved the house and the location. Very safe and bed so comfortable!

The shower heads were the only thing in the whole place that looked like they needed a clean. Musty or damp smell upstairs.

Fantastico!

this is the loveliest place we have ever seen on booking.com! and what a sweet surprise because you walk down a typical, authentic Sicilian alley and you do not expect the wonderful surprise when your host, Antonio opens the door. it’s absolutely stunning. it is stocked with everything you might need. the beds (one up and one down plus 3 twins in a separate bedroom) are very comfortable. great shower! the location is near an amazing bakery and you can walk to several restaurants. the town is delightful. the host is the best. the gave us cookies that he made, a bottle of Prosecco and 2 frozen gelato cones to enjoy after our dinner. Casa Aruci is fantastic.

parking in front of the door or on the street is a bit of a challenge. (but worth it)

Casa Aruci means Sweet Home but the hospitality of the owner is even sweeter than his amazing treats

We loved everything about our stay! Antonio went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to "leave a sign" (as he put it when he was giving us more and more delicious sweets from his store every day). Casa Aruci Sweet Home looks exactly like in the pictures but the hospitality of Antonio exceeded all our expectations -- it just has to be experienced. He is such a hard-working man, creating delicious sweet wonders in his laboratory from morning till night, and yet he always takes time to talk to you, explain what you are about to taste (there is something new on the breakfast menu every day!), what it is made of and so on. He also gives you tips where to eat in Scicli (Quore Matto is a must!), where to park, and which towns and beaches to visit. Thank you for everything, Antonio! You have made our vacation in Sicily really special, and I hope we will be able to come back soon!

Great service, large flat full of amenities and fantastic pastries for breakfast

Casa Aruci is very comfortable and large, and it has many amenities - more than you probably need. Above all, the service is remarkable: Antonio was extremely helpful and kind, helping to secure a parking spot, giving recommendations for places to go to and restaurants. And the Dolceria Modicana makes amazing pastries... which we received upon arrival and for every breakfast (what a feast - don't go there if you want to hold a strict diet!). Location allows you to explore Scicli on foot.

The flat is on the dark side (only two rooftop windows) but that was clear from the description. The apartment was generally clean but it seems that previous guests walked with street shoes and the floors were not well cleaned. We could not use the sofa because it was wet (maybe just cleaned before our arrival).

Great apartment and fantastic breakfast

Antonio welcomed us with delicious pastries and useful tips about were to go for dinner. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We wish we had stayed longer!

5 star accommodation with perfect location

Definitely a five star accommodation with all the facilities you could think of! An extra bonus was the Jacuzzi bath with lights and music, it was great! Also, the breakfast pastries were very tasty, and we also got bread, cheese and eggs. Perfect location with walking distance to the center. Last but not least, the host Antonio was very friendly, generous and helpful, he even booked us a table at a good restaurant for dinner!

Can't think of anything negative.
