Pool, when complaints given room changes made immediately, games
Food, not 1 day of authentic Dominican food at buffet. They tell you all inclusive yet u get no availability to eat at special restaurants for the GOOD food.We had to spend money we needed for food 2 days They allow people to book for the week, VERY UNFAIR You get there and find out you have to be VIP OR HIGHER to enjoy 70% amenities . Drinks are watery!

Food was ok. Rooms were horrible; there was no water for the first 2 hours of our stay. The shower was a small stream of water which made it very difficult to shower. We had a bathtub/shower; very difficult to get inside. I almost slipped several times. Toilets didn't flush. Complained to the front desk and it was excuse after excuse.
The communication between the front desk and their guests. They didn't let us know there wasn't any water or electricity when we arrived. When we addressed it they aid it would only be a little while longer then it was an hour then 2 hours. the rooms smelled moldy. When we addressed it they said to turn on the AC. They did say since we made our reservations through Booking to address it with them. So basically it's not up to them. We couldn't get any reservation to any of the restaurants because you had to be there between 9-10 the morning of but they were booked days out; how could that be possible? We complained daily. They finally moved us but it was just annoying. We chose this resort for our family vacation where my son proposed to his girlfriend and my daughter was celebrating her 25th birthday. We were it with obstacle after obstacle. Bad moments after bad moments. No one made actual attempts to rectify the problem. They only moved us into new rooms because I said I was going to announce this horrific experience on social media and tried to go live right in front of them but the wifi was also horrible. Then when they did change our rooms they had me sign a document stating I wouldn't talk about what happened at the resort, which isn't binding since it wasn't notarized. HORRIBLE!

nothing
Rude Staff, Food Terrible, harassed about taking time share tour after every meal. Talked to two different Members while there that was very dissatisfied with their membership. VIP bar wouldn’t give me a beer, twice while waiting on lame show. had to take bus to other locations to get one. Air conditioning in the two rooms I bought didn’t work, mirrors covered in black stuff. crowded so called VIP cabana at beach but had plenty of covered beds in Members only right beside it. Shows lame no place to dance like a Disco. Have to take crowded bus to get to everything. Rooms not nice. Is the second time staying here and both times bad. Bought two rooms for 4 adults and two kids. They only showed 1 kid and charged me $207 for the 6 year old to eat for four nights and the food was literally terrible. Not a single day did I have anything that I could say was good not one thing. Have much better resorts close that I would recommend. I have visited this area 20+ times plus resorts all over the world and can easily say this one is the worst.

The food was good and the location was easily accessible.
Most of the staff was rude. The wait to check in was long.

Absolutely nothing. If you are not a VIP members, you are treated horribly. Given the worst rooms. And can't even get a reservation in any of the restaurants. I was specifically told by management Mr corvis pichardo that since we only booked 2 nights "we have no priority anywhere" my family booked 2 nights and we had 4 rooms and spent way too much money for this crappy place. The beach was disgusting.
The staff is rude. There was mold in the room and the ceiling leaked water that leaked into my MAC makeup case and was totally ruined There are roaches and spiders in the room that get in your luggage and on yr bed. The hot water runs out. If you are not VIP you dont have access to the golf carts for transportation and even if you wait for the shuttle if there are VIP members (that were not waiting) you are told you can't get on. The rooms are extremely humid so all of your clothes feels wet all the time. They count each and every item in the rooms and you are responsible for them but if they forget to replace your bath towels, and complain you are told there are no towels and then they try to charge you for them. My brother got charged $10 dollars because they found it was too dirty. The beds and pillows are rock hard. And if you are not VIP you are told the nightclub is under renovation and can't come in even though you see the VIP members inside. I am Dominican and have stayed in many places in Puerto Plata and this by far is the most mediocre disgusting place I have visited. Dont stay here , it will ruin your vacation.

Staff and bartenders were very friendly. And the grounds were very well maintained.
The food was not good at all. Snacks were horrible.. rooms need to be updated very old my room was changed twice due to leaky air conditioning creating a puddle in the hallway area.

The personnel was friendly and helpful the room service was good, towels and bed sheets clean.
The facility I stayed is needs remodeling looks like it has not been updated in years. The food was bland .

i liked the location of the hotel
Checkin was terrible, the staff was not friendly and did not explain any amenities. I did not like having to call everyday for the first three days for towels to be brought to my room. After day three that issue was corrected and the house keeper was very nice. I hated the food, it was the same thing everyday for almost all three courses. And it was terrible might i add. meals by the pool to forever to arrive and sometimes it seemed impossible trying to find someone to take the food order. Some staff were not friendly or helpful. The shower was leaking into the room and under the bed for two days and eventually someone came and fixed it.

Very nice staff.
They didn't refill the fridge with water and Soda.and the room towels didn't seem clean enough.

issue with the front deck because my mom forgot her ID , that to me is Ridiculous because I was the main person who booked everything so everyone else shouldn’t matter. so they wanted me do drive back to Santiago but I was able to persuade them to just wait till my father who was working in the US. to take a picture of her ID so she could enter smh. my mom is 65 and they wanted her to wait in the lobby until my father sends the picture instead of letting her go to her room atleast because it was like 90 degrees.

Everything. Best resort ever

Honestly there was nothing there to like. Beds were broken , mattresses spring were popping out. Smelly rooms. Nothing like the pictures they show on their website. I will never go there again nor recommend any family or friends. On top of everything else they tried to charge me more money. I had paid for 4 adults and 1 child and they said I only paid for 2 person meanwhile they had actually charged me for 5 adults and not 4 plus a child.
Everything. I did not like anything at all. It is a rip off. Lobbies dirty broken beds horrible staff etc

I left the hotel 4 hours before the correct time because I was not informed properly by the recesion. I paid 15 dollars for internet and this did not work. The administration is not managing the hotel properly

taking the shuttle bus everywhere things should be more closed to each other
they woke us up at 8 am the next day of our stay to go to the lobby because they had a gift for us and they basically wanted us to become vip members and they talk about all their benefits and give you a tour even tho I said I was not interested

It was awesome. Just like in the pictures. Everything was so clean. Hot water showers and cozy bedroom. The crew was caring and warming.
The food also excelente.
