War okay gutes und weniger gutes

Blick auf das Meer, toller Garten mit schönen Palmen als schatten für die Terrasse.

Das Bad war sehr schäbig, Viel zu viele Hunde und Gebell Frühstücken ist nicht besonders. Kann man weg lassen und besser in eins der Restaurants gehen.

Booked at Secret Garden, however accommodated at Rosa Mystica

The staff was good and pleasant to interact, the rooms were basic and maintained well. The restaurant was next door and had decent food. The place was a minute away from the beach.

I had booked at Secret Garden however was accommodated at Rosa Mystica, a totally different property. Though after interacting with the owner he offered to let me stay for 1 night at secret garden, I didn't take the offer, as I didn't want to be packing and unpacking again. Wish if this was mentioned clearly on booking.com (the owner said it was but I couldn't find any reference during booking). Absolutely no network for airtel and bsnl, wifi also erratic due to electricity, no generator backup too.

- Hütte direkt am Strand - besser geht's nicht. - Exzellentes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. - Sehr gutes Frühstück inklusive. - Gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. - Sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett mit Moskitonetz (allerdings kaum Moskitos trotz der Lage), genügend Platz, extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. - Einfach nur "paradiesisch schön."

- nur kaltes Wasser, da der Boiler offenbar nicht funktionierte. Möchte nur darauf hinweisen... für mich wars okay.

Exceptional

What a wonderful hidden gem of a place to stay. I ended up staying in two types of rooms while relaxing in this little paradise. The double room was spacious, large bathroom, beautiful hot water and an air con that worked a treat, with a balcony to chill out on away from the midday sun. I then moved into a hut with ocean views that was just delightful. Each hut is surrounded by a canopy of palms and plants that make this place a hidden oasis. The hut I had was air conditioned, that worked so well, the place would cool down in five minutes in the middle of a 35 degree day, it has a kettle, fan, hot water if needed, and the thing I really liked was plenty of hanging space for clothes in side from overhead rails. A deck attached was a great place to watch the beach surrounded by greenery on all sides. Under the hut was another chill out area to lay in a hammock, or lie and have a sleep on a chair. There is a small supermarket attached to the complex, with a great range of goods at affordable prices. Lots of places to eat near by. Finally the staff, so friendly, helpful and always with a smile. So, if looking for a hidden gem, that is right on the beach, this is a place I would recommend.

location

there was a big rat that didn’t let us sleep. When we informed the property they seemed to be absolutely unworried about it. what an unhygienic place. we left some of our clothes and towels there knowing rats the size of big cats crawled over them the whole night. they do not have refrigerator for the guests and when you ask them to keep something in the fridge they get agitated. no power back up, don’t bother asking them as well they will say we don’t know when the light will be back. overall unwelcoming and inhospitable.

The location of the room is near from the beach, the room was clean.

The staff is nonchalant, it's borderline if you bother them with your questions. They are unresponsive. The price of the room is high for what it is, you can find better value for money

Great stay only few issues. would stay again

the room offered to us was not what we asked for and was given a room directly behind reception. i of course refused as i chose a beach hut and thiswas the experience i wanted and also the privacy. The female owner very kindly hooked us up with another site 2 minutes walk down the beach i assume same business and it was PERFECTION. we had the smallest hut or one of and it was a good size and beautiful with a sea view so secluded with lovely resturant right next door was more than i could of asked for so please be mindful of my score on this aspect. Thank you all for a great stay

that they tricked us in to a room we didnt book and needed intervention of a boss to understand this is not ok some people would be happy to take the room so being transparent would have been more respectful. dogs do bark alot and i mean alot at night but that actually didnt bother me but if a light sleeper may not be great they also stop one of my shoes lol which was funny and annoying similtantiously

Agonda is such a wonderful location.

Great location on the beach, nice secluded accommodation with good facilities. A world class beach at Agonda and great proximity to restaurants.

Staff have a ‘just enough attitude’, sometimes carefree and not proactive. They won’t pull out the stops to go beyond the call of duty. Godwin is a good guy.

my booking was confirmed by booking.com but when i reached there they said they haven’t received any booking and hotel is soldout. my travel plans and that day was completely ruined and i was with my wife. Completely unacceptable thing happened and i have to face mid night roaming challenge on goa streets. you are completely responsible for this. will never ever recommend booking.com to any and will never use it again for any booking. world’s most fraud app with extremely poor customer support

Very good

Secret Garden was amazing with plants and so pretty. Sailash can driver was very and welcoming at the airport. There was a confusion with the room/dates. The location is nice, calm. The staff is so friendly and nice.

I reserved a room in Secret garden because of the plants, got a room in Hidden garden which is more basic and no plants.

Very good

Perfect location, perfect accomodation. It was a hut right on the beach a little way down from the resort enclosure. We had perfect view of the sea and beach and I would recommend asking for beach view with Balcony.

Sadly there were a lot of stray dogs. The staff did their best to clear the dogs poo but there was still some around our hut. Also the howling and nuisance of the dogs at night with their howling was very disturbing and didn't make for a great nights sleep. Of course these are stray dogs and given the dogs are protected and that they are strays it's not really Secret Gardens fault and sadly it's was it is. The service in hidden garden restaurant could be a little better and not let there be such a wait time. All in all, this was a wonderful stay, perfect location and for the money the hut was rustic and in keeping with a peaceful chilled and relaxed quite beach getaway. Would recommend.

The staff at the hotel are very helpful. They cleaned the room on request.

The original room booked was very small and nothing like the photos. The room was changed on request but we didn't get a sea view. One staff member at the restaurant (Hidden Garden) was very rude, so much so that we skipped the complimentary breakfast and went to another shack on the second day.

Worst stay. Secret garden - ha ha secret about their inefficiency to treat their customers

Nothing .one of the worst stay in my whole life

The huts were really pathetic with no hygiene. There were insects all over the place.The place was not well covered, hence allowing flies and other insects to enter the place. Due to this reason the insects bite my wife skin in several areas. Now I visited doctor for this.The surroundings were also not cleaned properly resulting in an unhygienic stay. Also dog barking whole night. No boundary for there sea view cottages. No facilities. Seems like they are not bother for their sea cottages customer. Also hidden garden restaurant manager by the guy too rude.0 star.they just promoted their property with some some youtuber. Please see the poisonous insect bite plz.
