Mirando a cuenca

Cómodo ,muy cerca de la catedral y el hotel tiene su encanto

Esta ubicado en una calle con mucho tráfico y dado que todo es estrecho ,bajar las maletas a la llegada del hotel o al contrario, es un poco angustioso

Worth every cent - views, location and the 1700 convent refurb!

The location is prime, great views to the old town, really enjoyed the stay.

Historical hotel right in the centre of Cuenca

Fabulous hotel with comfortable, clean and well furnished rooms. I loved the wooden beam roofs and the fact that it’s a refurbished convent from the 17th century.

Parking was expensive and the only free parking was one kilometre away.

The hotel was excellent. Perfectly located for the historic centre of Cuenca. Staff were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Really nice location

Lovely property in old sector of Cuenca, all your needs are covered in this historic building. Room and bathroom were first class. Staff very helpful and spoke excellent English. I would love visit again in the near future.

Good location, large bedroom and bathroom.

Unfortunately there was a noise, perhaps from a faulty water pump, that switched on and off several times a minute all the time. It is such a quiet location that this was very noticeable at night. The reception staff tried very hard to find me a different room, including in a different hotel, but I decided to check out after one sleepless night.

Good location, great being next to Gastro restaurant. Room clean spacious plenty of wardrobe space. Good lift.

would have been good to be able to open the window for fresh air at night. Room hot even with air conditioning.

A night on a road trip in a beautiful location.

The location is exceptional. The hotel is superb and though our room didn't have a view it is clearly well positioned towards the top of the town. It was clean and breakfast was great. The history almost breathes from the walls of this convent. One of many in the town, several of which are hotels. The staff I spoke to were extremely polite and helpful. I have half decent Spanish and they could speak half decent English so it was great. Really pleased with the whole town and hotel.

It lacked coat hangers we only had three, this was a very small issue however.

Nice location and perfectly good

The hotel was fine. It was about 150 metres from the cathedral in the old town so the location was brilliant. The room was fine too, maybe a little small but plenty big enough. The bathroom was good with a shower that worked properly. Oh, and the view we had across the gorge and over to the parador was spectacular. Very nice.

There was nothing we didn't like but somehow it wasn't quite as nice as I'd hoped. I have no idea why that's the case. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked and the staff were good but somehow I was a little disappointed.

The only negative was the noise from other rooms bathrooms woke you up and you would think it was raining outside.

Excellent location, beautiful old city, wonderful view from our room. Good restaurants and bars very close. Weather was terrible but we still enjoyed our stay.

Some confusion over breakfast. We were told it was a buffet breakfast but when we went for our breakfast we discovered it was a la carte so declined.

location is great. Nearby parking lot is convenient.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Any turn in the bed made a lot of noise. You could hear everything in the nearby rooms. Halls are dark. We had to check out early and there was no one to help.

one guest was near the lift which noisy. also had problems with a noisy toilet cistern
