Amazing location and organization

Organization is great. Super communication. The Tent was spacious and had a hand made toilet that was absolutely usable. Food of the dinner was very good. The location of the camp is amazing, walkable distance to Tembaine mountain with huge sand dunes right next to it.

There was no light at the tent and at the showers, only in the shared toilets. The other thing that I could mention is that, for me ,some small things would really make it an even more amazing experience. For example if a bottle of water was offered, or maybe a beer or a soda could be on the price of the dinner, since you pay for the tent, transportation and dinner as well.

A remote camp, two hours in a 4x4 from Douz. The tent was really comfortable and the evening meal delicious, and there was alcohol. wish we would have stayed extra nights

It isn’t cheap and you need to take cash as there is no facility to pay by card

Superb

A perfect and luxurious place in the sand dunes of the Tunisian desert, with a magnificent and hikable table mountain just 2 km away.

Tranquility depends on how many other travellers and children visit the camp…. our days there were quite different. And for planning and full first hand information we would recommend that transfer prices (150-200€ per car for the return trip) are given directly on the booking.com site.

The food at camp mars was amazing. I happened to be the only guest during my time there and they took extra special care of me and made sure everything was great. Camp mars is such a unique experience and a once in a lifetime kind of stay. Make the journey here and you will not regret it. You get picked up in the city of Douz and begin an epic adventure through the sand dunes for a few hours before reaching camp.

fantastic food and friendly staff. driver was professional and safe. got us back on time, as promised

no negative comments. be aware that the drive out was 3hrs, not 2hr, and dinner served at 8:30pm. plan accordingly

It gets better and better with each visit. Great place to enjoy the Sahara.

This is my 3rd visit to Camp Mars over 4 years, and it seems to get better and better. The property added new activities, a bar, and cool seating for ppl/groups to enjoy the outdoors. Hope to return many years from now and enjoy it again.

amazing

It was just me and my friend stay there for that night. We spend a very special night with the host and the driver by singing together and looking at the stars. The dinner was amazing. To be honest, I can't believe the best dinner I have in Tunisia is at Campus Mars.

It's very cold in the night but it is also a very special memory.

Camp Mars was very supportive with fast reliable feedback and service. The camp is comfortable, despite no water supply nor electricity. The camp is clean and the food is fantastic. Of all my travel experiences, camping in the Sahara Desert was one of the best things I've ever done.
