Loved the location - overlooking the center of Sorrento. Lively in the front, but relaxing and quiet off the kitchen patio. Bruno gave us great recommendations for restaurants and excursions.

We had the best time at this spot. Location could not have been better. Slept each night with the doors wide open and loved waking up to the stunning views of the Mediterranean. Central to all activities. Bruno was a delight and so very helpful. Perfect size for our family of five. Thanks so much!

Word to the wise: there are a lot of stairs leading to the apartment!

Our entire group loved this apartment. I had never seen anything like it; it was enormous. We had to schedule the time that each of us could use the desk that looks out the window in one of the bedrooms. It was spacious and comfortable, with a large private terrace that overlooked a rooftop garden. It's an older building with high ceilings and tile floors.
Bruno was easy to deal with, and helpful about walking me through using the keys via messages. I should have tried to unlock the door while he was on the property. It was a pattern throughout Italy that the manager needed a specific time that we would arrive so that they could check us in, show us around, and collect the city tax. It was a bit frustrating because we knew we would be there for the night, but didn't always know how long it would take to get there.
This property was a bit of a splurge for us but was completely worth it. It has ocean views and looks out over the main square. While this made it a bit noisy, we just closed the shutters for quiet.

Our family of five spent a wonderful 4 days in this lovely classic apartment. We enjoyed the super location, terrific views, spacious rooms and outdoor terrace space. The many balconies provided great opportunities for people watching. Being centrally located, it's steps away from everywhere you want to go. Although it overlooks the main piazza, when the windows are closed you barely hear any of the nightlife in the street. Our host, Bruno was a delight in every way; charming, helpful, responsive, and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location in the heart of Sorrento. Bruno and Mario were very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sorrento. The location of the apartment had a positive impact on our overall stay. The apartment is located in the heart of Sorrento on Piazza Tasso and very close to the port as well as many phenomenal restaurants. You also have awesome views of the town as well as a view of the water from each of the 3 bedrooms. If you plan on eating in during your stay, you have a fantastic private patio for your dinner so you can enjoy the amazing weather while you eat.

It is exactly as described on the listing and some of the comments from previous renters. It is a cool, old, high ceiling large apt. It is right in the center of town and you can see everything going on out the windows. Yes, it is definitely loud but we put in earplugs at night and slept like a log. Also , as someone said in the review - the wallpaper is peeling in the one room - but it’s a cool, old place, what do you expect? It has a washer if you need to wash clothes. I thought the beds were very comfortable. Pillows not so much :). I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Bruno!

Very spacious. Located handy to everything! Great terrace. Little balconies overlooking the main piazza in town.... gets a little noisy, but I didn't go to Italy to sleep. Loved every minute of my stay.

Overall and considering the price, the property was great. Bruno was there when we checked in and went over everything quite thoroughly. The only complaint I have is that some of the wallpaper is peeling and a few things need updated. I have slept on better mattresses as well. You absolutely cannot beat the location and the large rooms which we really enjoyed.

We have stayed here before and it's just as good as remembered. Perfectly located to enable the enjoyment of Sorrento and it's surrounding areas.
Bruno was fantastic in letting us check-in earlier, parking, with restaurants, and a even a last minute airport transfer. 👌🏾
We will be back👍🏾

Spacious Flat in the Heart of Sorrento
This property well suited our family of five. We thoroughly enjoyed the views and central location. However, the Piazza Tasso was much noisier that we'd expected. Over Christmas (Dec 23, 25 & 26 - Christmas Eve was quiet) the crowds were out well past midnight. We enjoyed the period decor, however, with the vast amount of space available it is a shame that the only place to congregate is the dining room table. There is not couch/lounge chair seating area for for guests to relax/read/converse together. The large entryway and TV room are unusable as furnished. A coat rack/coat tree would be much appreciated in the entryway. The kitchen is very usable, but as others have mentioned, under equipped. We would still gladly recommend this property to anyone visiting Sorrento. Mario was a pleasure to work with and full of helpful information.

Exceeded expectations...by a lot!
This flat is large and roomy (3 large bedrooms, large living room, large dining room, large entry, 1.5 baths, kitchen, and a large sundeck.
Pefect location, on Sorrento's main piazza, with amazing views of Napoli bay and panorama of the town.
Mario was pleasant and available without being intrusive in our stay. When I return to Sorrento I'll stay here again.

Great space in Sorrento!
Situated in the heart of Sorrento, we felt a bit like the Governor, enjoying the large rooms, antique furniture and lovely views. After our small hotel rooms in Rome, our group of 4 appreciated being able to spread out and have some personal space. Easy to reach beaches, restaurants and transportation.
Mario is an excellent host and provided us with many helpful recommendations regarding where to eat and how to get around. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fabulous central square apartment in Sorrento
This was our 2nd stay in Sorrento. This apartment was right on the main square. We loved it. Mario was great! He provided us with multiple ideas on what to do and also what were just tourist traps and we should skip. Great central location. City noise (you are in the central square) but when windows closed at night, very quiet. Master bed could use a new box spring/mattress but this place is perfect for the location and also the property manager, Mario.

Sorrento Holiday
Mario was an excellent property manager who was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Having the maid service daily was excellent.
It would have been nice to have more seating in the living room than just one sofa along with a tv.

Location perfect
Mario was the most helpful person who genuinely wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The location could not have been better and would recommend it to anyone.

For what this cost it was perfect
The property first of all is ideally located! It’s right on piazzo Tasso and therefore virtually next to taxis, and transport, easy access to the marina and bars/restaurants. Its so easy to get to everything.
However that does also make it a little noisy but we knew where we were booking so cannot complain about this!
It’s basic and a bit dated but clean. It’s very spacious and the terrace is good.
We visited at the hottest time of year and although there is only 1 air con unit in the whole place, there’s is a fan in every room and we were ok. Don’t let this put you off.
Mario is lovely and very helpful.
The only thing I’d say is missing is a mirror in each bedroom as there is only one in one room which is a pain when everyone is getting ready.

Location, location, location!
Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in early July Mario was great and very responsive. He helped arrange our transfer and answered all our questions and gave us great advice about restaurants, sites, etc. The apartment was the perfect location to access all of Sorrento and surrounding areas. The local train was easy to access Pompeii. When the doors are open you can hear the noice from the square but when they are closed it is very quiet. There was plenty of room and a nice big terrace. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!!

Could not imagine a better location in all of Sorrento!
We loved our time in Sorrento! The location of this apartment is great! You open just about any window and you are staring at Piazza Tasso with a cooling ocean breeze. In can be a little loud at night, but the huge patio in the back in the garden is as quiet and serene as possible. The apartment is old and could use some repairs however the antique tiles and walls are part of the charm of Italy! Mario is very knowledgeable of the area and provides tons of tips of things to do and places to eat in the area. We had been to Sorrento several times so we did not need or use his tips but could be very helpful for first time travelers to the area. The daily maid service is also very nice. Gives you the feel of staying in a hotel with the charm and immersion of apartment living. Would definitely recommend!

Property needs a FULL renovation !!!
I didn't realize the property had no AC and to keep the windows open with the noise from the Piazza was unbearable for the noise. The property size was great and the area was great but this unit is in great need of a renovation. The shower is very tiny that a full grown person could barely fit in it. Needs major upgrades or a full renovation. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable and the furniture was old and broken. The fridge has some sort of constant condensation in it, I would not recommend this property but I would recommend the manager as he did a good job trying to make us feel comfortable. DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT, need major renovations and new furniture

Unbeatable Location
For this apartment, "centrally located" means precisely that - it overlooks Tasso Square and is right in the heart of Sorrento. No concerns with noise, the terrace in the back of the apartment was peacefully quiet - as were the three large bedrooms. No need for the air conditioning during our stay - windows open yielded a gentle cooling breeze. The furnishings are a bit dated - but overall, this apartment is a terrific bargain in the heart of Sorrento.

Thank you Mario
The apartment is wonderful. We love to open the windows and shutters and gaze down at the busy piazza. Wonderful for our family of five. Very centrally locates and Mario gave great advice. He also allowed a late pick up of bags.

A Sunny Stay in Sorrento!
We had a lovely time staying at Melany Apt in Sorrento. After some confusion on our part about where Piazza Tasso was we met Mario who had patiently awaited our arrival. With a tour of the place and an interesting discussion about preserving ancient Italy, Mario left us to discover the sweetness that is Sorrento. The apartment is amazing, light and bright with all of the necessities of life. We had breakfasts on the terrace and were able to enjoy the street scene below us from the lovely Juliet balconies off every window in the place. Each morning we were able to tell the prevailing winds by the beautiful flags outside the windows. This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely book this apartment again at any cost. Thank you to Mario and Monica - you definitely have the keys to success with this property!

Location!
Perfect location - close to everything that we needed. Mario was very helpful. He gave us lot of recommendations and even printed our ferry tickets for us when we couldn’t find a printer. The apt is large but not recently renovated and a bit sparse.

Wonderful stay
Very large three bedroom apartment in the best location. This apt suited our family perfectly. Plenty of room, yes dated but fine. Outside patio is perfect and sitting in the sun overlooking the Piazza from huge windows is breathtaking. Many stairs to the apt which as stated may be difficult for some. Smallish shower and you hear the noise from the Piazza until about 10:30 pm. We loved being in the center of activity but if you don’t then this may not be for you. We did not notice any musty smell.
Mario couldn’t have been more helpful. He made arrangements for our arrival and met us at the apt. He was readily available and gave us wonderful tips about where to spend our time and how to get there. He gave us wonderful “less touristy” tips which we enjoyed. Try Francos Pizza...it was wonderful.
Overall, a highlight of our trip. I would recommend this apt and Mario!!!! I would give it 5 stars, but because it is dated and may need another more comfortable sitting area, it is 4.

Perfect location right on the piazza.
This apartment was spacious and located in the perfect place, right in the middle of all of Sorrento's culture. We loved the shops on the surrounding streets and people-watching from our window. Mario took great care of us and made sure we knew everything about the area and the city.

Excellent, bright apartment in the center of Sorrento.
Mario was a very gracious and accommodating host. He provided excellent communication up to the visit and was prompt in meeting us at the apartment for check in. Mario provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. We loved the location of the apartment in the center of Sorrento. It was easy to walk to restaurants, the train and bus station and ferry stop. Mario noted the apartment was not recently renovated (we thought of it as authentic and charming) and offered us the option to change locations if we desired. I highly recommend Mario as a host.

Classical accom in the centre of town
This apartment overlooks the main square of Sorrento. It’s not renovated but is very spacious. It is due for a bit of an update but everything works, and location cannot be bettered.
Mario was very helpful. He sorted out a transfer from the airport and We used the same company to get to Naples railway station when we departed.
There was a bit of a communication problem between Mario and us prior to arrival. 3 unresponded emails regarding our arrival had us a bit worried. Mario responded to a text however 3 days before our arrival and came through with the airport transfer we were requesting. Overall he is a good host and hopefully this was an isolated incident. We would use this host again.

Amazing Appt. Fabulous location. Would definitely come back
Firstly the communication and service from Mario and his team was excellent from start to finish.
We were met at the appt by Mario who gave us advise on where to eat and what to do.
The main point about this appt is the location. Sitting right on the main square, overlooking Sorrento and sea. It’s great to people watch from the balconies. There’s an abundance of bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Make sure to go to Pizzeria da Franco a little further up Corsa Italia near the station - it’s where the locals get their pizza!
The appt itself is huge. 3 very large bedrooms all with great views. Large dining and sitting room. The decor is lovely -
All period features and tiled floor. The furniture in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and living room is a little tired but the main bedroom is very grand.
The bathrooms would benefit from modernising but were adequate for what we needed.
I would wholeheartedly recommend. DA

Amazing location
The apartment is located in the best possible Amalfi coast location, Sorrento! It overlooks the town square, piazzo Tasso. Literally looking down on it! Apartment is very roomy and owners are fantastic. Mario was very helpful with loads of information about the area, restaurants, and explaining the rental. Some of the issues I had were around the apartment being old, uncomfortable beds, lack TV sitting area, and air conditioning was not very effective during some warmer temperatures. It’s something to think about if you do go with temperatures above 90. I know Mario had some other properties so I would consider asking about some others for a future stay. Overall it was a great expierence to stay in such a great location.
