Loved the access to the beach, restaurants, and things to do in Grand Baie. The hotel is located on a quiet street. Staff is friendly and hotel/location was very safe. Beautiful, good size rooms.
We were not able to use our beautiful outdoor patio because the mosquitos were so bad out there.

Room was very clean and a good size.
When arrived in the room the Fridge was leaking water on the floor. A towel was provided to clean up the water.
4.5
Beautiful boutique lodge, strategically located near Pereybere beach. Rooms are clean & comfy, staff very helpful and kind, and you have all key things you need nearby.
it’d have been nice if the lodge had its own breakfast, but not big deal as you’d still be able to grab breakfast at one of the cafes nearby.

Location
As soon as you enter the property a foul smell around the reception area is evident. Suspect to be drainage related.
Can’t understand management doesn’t do anything about it! Otherwise all good.

Kim, the manager, is friendly, lovely conversationalist and goes overboard to be helpful. Peyrebère is a quiet town, so don't hesitate to ask her for ideas whether it'd be for visiting, a spa, a restaurant or a drink.
The room is spacious and confortable. The hotel is walking distance to the beach.
Arrived early so the room could have used an extra swipe but it was clean the next day!
Had some technical difficulties with the equipments but the staff was reactive and fixed it ASAP.
3.5
Great location, super close to Pereybere beach and a variety of restaurants and bars
No restaurant at this accommodation despite this being in the description. Closest coffee in a 5-10 min away and the kitchenette room for only had tea available.
4.5
very spacious room, clean, quiet, comfortable, good WiFi, close to the public beach, very friendly staff

location location location ! 1 min away from the best beach in Mauritius. 5 mins from the nearest supermarket. Its clean, affordable, felt like home really. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Kim really is lovely, we spent quite a few evenings talking about island life. Unlike a 5star hotel which can feel quite sterile and functional, this had a home away from home feeling. It’s family friendly we had 2 kids aged 5 and 2. Kim is really helpful in suggesting and planning visit to other places. The cleaners and staff are lovely and non intrusive. There are food places as soon as you walk out the hotel. it’s in a very safe area but Maritius is very safe overall. the bus stop is 1 minute away. Grand baie by bus is about a 5 minute journey.
The bed was too hard for me and pillows were too high. lack of water pressure and hot water in the sink. limescale in the toilet. Communal kitchen area needs to be cleaned better. Drawer fronts, microwave felt sticky. Although is was a great convenience to have access to a kitchen, which is well equipped. The do have rooms with kitchenettes so if you need a kitchen maybe book one of those. There is sometimes sewage smell in the bathroom.

Staff: very professional, when we had to switch rooms, always welcoming and helpful with a smile on their face
Location: In a little street, so you don’t hear that much of the main street, but just kind of across the beach. Just grab your towel and enjoy the beach.
Wifi: Very good. There is a router in every room.
Shared kitchen: All you need to prepare a meal. Kitchen was clean
Room: Clean and spacious
Balcony: Chairs and a table to chill. We had palm trees just in front, so it felt like we are really somewhere in a jungle and not in a village. And the balcony had a roof, so when it rained we were still able to chill outside.
There was a clothing rack.
Definitively worth the money!
The way they designed the bathroom with a glas door just next to the bed. So if you wanna use the restroom and don’t want your partner or friend to be part of it you have to use a roll curtain. It wasn’t a problem, just something I would change somehow :)

Pity there was nowhere on the property to have a coffee and breakfast.

Well situated and comfortable rooms.
The airconditioner did not work at all. That made the stay worse than it should have been.

Spacious room. Good shower and location was very good.
Pereybere beach is way too busy, noisy with people playing really loud music and a lot of screaming children.
Not my idea of relaxation. Nothing to do with the lodge though.
Just way too busy for me!

Clean room with some cooking facilities in a community kitchen. Small terrace belonging to the room. Good wifi!
No central area where you could sit but we did not really miss that because we had a small terrace where we had our self-prepared dinner.
