Nice place to stay for 2-3 days

Nice location with very friendly staff ready to help with all you need. Nice room with beautiful view. Good breakfast. Beautiful horses that are quite an attraction for kids. Nice exterior playground.

Thin walls; you can hear everything. Light in the room could be improved. Bed is way too tall so I would not consider it kids friendly at all. Food is acceptable but limited (should offer more options to tourists).

I do not recommend this place

The breakfast was very satisfying- rich, varied, fresh and tasty. Also plenty for all the guests.

The place was in construction. The building we were accommodated in, was under construction , dust, workers on site, dirt everywhere, no green spaces, steep outdoor stairs with no railings making it a totally unsafe place for everybody especially for children. Also - Saturday we had no parking space available caused by the guests who were at the wedding event organized by the owner. Lack of staff - both in the restaurant and also for the cleaning one responsible for the rooms. We had no service for 2 days until I called the receptionist to change the towels and pick up garbage. They sent someone that day. Beds were 2 singles with individual mattresses even the ones that claimed to be matrimonial-hence the discomfort

it was leaking water from the toilet and staff didn’t fix it. horrible breakfast - not enough food, not enough plates and cups, constantly not working coffee machine and again staff not rushing to fix it. no room service

room and bathroom size were ok and it was clean. restaurant’s food and service and the view from the terrace.

room had poor lighting cooking smell in the room and the building couldn’t rent bikes

great room and bathroom, great food at breakfast and dinner, great stuff, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay

we were at the ground floor and sometimes is was a little loud when the people on the 1st floor were walking (we could here the footsteps on the floor surface)

very nice place, friendly staff, but need to go to bed shortly after 22:00

good vibes and setup

maybe think about an open space area where we can spend group time. the restaurant closes at around 22:00 and there is no option to have access to a space where to play some board games or spend more time with the group.

very nice rooms, but the smell…

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very nice. The restaurant had good food and the staff from the restaurant was very nice and professional.

The smell from the kitchen goes into the rooms and was horrible. until 22 o’clock, when the kitchen closes, the rooms and the hallway are invaded by this horrible cooking smell. All our clothes were smelling when we left. You can barely sleep from the smell and you can never feel that you are in the mountains. One heater wasn’t working and one was barely warm, although we announced the reception. Also, when we announced that someone blocked our car in the hotel’s parking lot, the receptionist sent us, ‘the customers’, to go and knock to that person’s room, which was not very nice.

We arrived there as scheduled only to find out there is no GSM service on the Orange network at all. My wife was "on call" and for her it was unacceptable not to be able to receive calls. We had to leave and search for another place to stay in the evening and pay extra for last hour reservation. They refused to pay us back the money because " they cannot make an exception". It is really unfortunate that they stoop so low for less than 90€. I've traveled all over the world and this is the first time this ever happened. It's not like we wanted to cancel the booking, we were forced to leave because there is no GSM signal and they did not mention it even if they are fully aware.

Room, cleanliness, restaurant staff !

Sometimes (2 times per day) the smell from the restaurant gets in the hotel and also in the rooms, because the doors are not so well sealed.

Very overrated property

- surroundings were nice - cute horses and dogs

- awul moist smell in the adjacent cabin where we were placed - water started leaking from the ceiling in our room during the night - shower had luke warm water - no noise proofing, we could hear the tv from the other room and everything people talked

Texas adventure - great for families

Wild west decorated, incredible design for the kids - bunk bed in cowboy style, every room has the name of an American state and inside a brief description of the state. Very large room with nice mountain view (we had the junior suite). Also the hotel has a wild west saloon like restaurant, very nice design. The terrace of the restaurant is very nice with lovely mountain view. Comfortable bed, nice staff, very helpful. Good food in the restaurant.

No AC in the room, it was very hot in August. Low pressure on water pipes. Little isolation, we could hear noise on the hallway and from other rooms. There was no horse riding available for kids, the horses on the property are only to be admired. But overall a good and fun experience for our family. Will come back next year when hopefully the pool will be open.

Exceptional

This was our second stay at Maggie's Ranch and we enjoyed it very much again. Main advantages of this location: - this is a very quiet area, very green, with lots of birds singing at our window :) - the restaurant cooks very good food - the rooms are very comfortable and quiet - the entire ranch has a very American touch which we found interesting and very different from other places we stayed in

The breakfast was ok, but I would include more sweets (pastry/pancakes) and maybe more cooked options.
