A brilliant and wonderful stay and welcoming stay

Very comfortable bed and lovely house. Quiet location but with pub restaurant close by for an excellent and friendly meal. Would thoroughly recommend. Julie and Neil

Very good

The hosts we're lovely. Very accommodating. Room was really nice.

Difficult to find even with directions.look for slow sign on the road.right opposite village green. Next time would like biscuits for the tea.

Great place to stay

Such a friendly and welcoming place to stay. Our room was spacious with space for two armchairs, and well equipped with tea making facilities and mini chocolates. There was a lovely en-suite that was larger than most. The beds were very comfy and we all had a great nights sleep. The range at breakfast was great, fab English breakfast, the marmalade was amazing. I even loved the artwork and books dotted around. When they found out we liked dogs we got to meet the most gorgeous girl. The only downside was only staying one night, we'd have happily stayed longer.

Welcoming, warm and cosy B&B - like staying with family friends

We loved our stay at Brook Farm Cottage - Emma and David were wonderful hosts. We really felt like we were truly welcomed - from being greeted at the gate with a warm handshake, to the care and attention they paid us. Breakfast was delicious and just the right size, especially the homemade marmalade. Their little puppy was a delight. Emma even kindly offered to iron one of our shirts for us instead of us having to borrow an ironing board. The pub two minutes' away has pretty decent traditional pub fare (think sausages and mash, plenty of pies). Portions are big. What it lacks in fanciness it makes up for with lots of warmth and welcome, and a great open fire in the bar which we enjoyed sitting at after our meal. The resident pub dog Jacks made us feel like we were welcomed into someone's sitting room. It was a delightful evening.

Absolutely brilliant overnight we would recommend to anyone. Definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Everything about Brook Farm Cottage was excellent. The room we had the atmosphere the owners all was perfect for our last overnight before home. The breakfast was very good, easy going owners, very attentive I can give nothing but praise. Definitely a recommendation to anyone wanting a quite village, comfortable accommodation and a pub jut down the road.

Simply Wonderful!

Lovely place, felt like home. David & Emma were fantastic and friendly hosts. Breakfast was perfect. Beds comfy. Great location with fabulous pub 30 seconds walk away. Literally could not ask for anything more! Will definitely be coming back!

An oasis of calm

Our hosts Emma and David were very welcoming and kind, it felt like a home from home. They made sure we had a fan in the room and gave us iced water for our water bottles each day. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jams and compotes. This peaceful house is really interesting and is filled with beautiful artwork, linens, and crockery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Such a beautiful cottage in a quiet village, hosts were very friendly, loved it and didn’t want to leave.

The property was in a beautiful quiet village, it was so lovely and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice with an en suite shower room. very comfortable and relaxing. Thereis a pub just around the corner (dog friendly) which serves excellent food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Emma and David were kind and welcoming hosts. The cottage is in a very peaceful village

It was very tastefully decorated and furnished. We appreciated having arm chairs in the sitting area of our room. The bed was very comfortable. Fresh flowers were put in our room daily. The hosts were Covid aware and we ate breakfast at a different time to other guests.

We found stepping into and out of the shower a little awkward for us at our age as the tiles were quite slippery when wet. It was unusual that the room could not be locked. Although the breakfast was of good quality and locally sourced, we would have liked a little more variety over the course of our 6 night stay.

Really, really good and I will definitely stay again.

This is a lovely property, David is a perfect host making you very welcome and cooking a great breakfast. The location is fantastic, really quite but very close to the main roads. AND I was allowed to take my little dog, Ruby, who loved it too!

If I had to make a suggestion it would be to have a light over the house name so you can see it in the dark, there are a few properties with a similar name in the village and it would save David having to keep coming out to find you!

A lovely place to stay.

lovely place, Emma and David were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Room very comfortable. I was travelling for work, but this would be an ideal place to stay for a weekend break.

Comfortable stay in a quient village setting with excellent service.

Location was excellent . Top quality produce used for breakfast and served with a smile by our lovely host. I feel I must mention the welcome we received at the Crewe Arms in the village. Excellent food and hospitality.

Very comfortable stay and wonderful hosts

We came for a nearby wedding. This is a traditional English B and B. Lovely attentive hosts and the room was spacious and comfortable with so many home touches. Good quality furniture and fittings. Everything was relaxed and breakfast was delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

great people great place.

You will not be disappointed with Brook Farm Cottage. The hosts David and Emmy are wondefull!, you are made most welcome at all times. The room was spotless and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Dont worry about travelling for supper as the Crew Arms is literally 30mtrs away, serving good food and drinks. Great location for any event at Silverstone, Biscester, Oxford is only 20mins away by car too. Great value for money - we will be going back!

better than expected in most catagories.

Breakfast was ok, presentation needs improvement! however it was plentiful and hot. Location was excellent. Room was great Hosts were friendly and aproachable. Would certainley consider further visits.

Tap and shower water temperature was excessively hot , no warning signs displayed. Other tnan that, no complaints.
