Emplacement idyllique

Closeness of food/beverage. Ocean is right there.

The location was excellent, loved being so close to a beautiful beach. The grounds were well kept with lots of great foliage and flowers. The receptionist and security person were very friendly and helpful. It was great to be within walking distance of the Coconut Market Place which had a variety of restaurants and stores.
The code to our condo did not work, so we only had one key to use. Our condo was in need of an update. It was not the one we booked on booking .com. The one we had booked had been renovated, this one needed to be renovated. The flooring had been damaged & the repair job was not good. The furniture was old. The curtains did not cover the whole window.

Location was GORGEOUS! We could see the ocean from our room balcony, the hotel pool and poolside bar with tiki torches at night was just lovely.
Please provide a broom for sandy feet, or a closer to the rooms foot wash.

Close to the beach
The smell of mustiness/mold

The property was lovely.
We are 80 and 78 years of age. Nothing in any of the materials I received or reviewed before , during, or after booking indicated the facility had NO ELEVATORS! This is a problem at our age and on an extended vacation because our luggage was heavy and had to be carried up two flights of stairs to a third level unit.
Also a concern was the massive king sized bed with very little room to walk around it in the small space which also had a sleeper sofa. If we had need to open the sofa bed, we had no place to do so because of all the other furniture

Close to the ocean, clean rooms, perfect location behind coconut marketplace, and nice bar/pool.
Nothing

The facilities in the room were good as was the closeness to the beach and the pool. We appreciated the use of body boards. Liked the tv channels available through Roku. The garden setting was nice.
The air conditioning wasn’t great sometimes worked well other times not so. The pool hours weren’t good as would have liked an early morning swim.

Location, people, parking, patio, pool, beds, linens& towels. Nice kitchen.
Furniture worn, old. Coffee pot broken. Filter had mold. No towel exchange.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The unit was spotless and well appointed. And the price was affordable (I'm guessing because of the less-than-desirable location on property (see "What didn't you like?" below).
The location of this particular unit was probably the worst on the property. Feet from construction of the property next door. Orange fencing, awful view, etc. BUT this was just the first impression/front door. Once inside and/or on the unit's patio, the views were great.

no breakfast. The location was great.
We Difficulty getting into the room.

Would have liked access to property laundry area.

Simple process
No laundry service, even though one was available on property.

Location and unit. Both very nice. By the ocean, walking path, restaurants. Unit was clean, very comfortable and welcoming.
Pool wasn't heated. Resort management refused to accept usps package sent to us, our forgotten cell phone. They said per their new contract?! And security couldn't accept it either. We had to go to local post office, inform them and hope they'd intercept it, big hassle.

Location
Broken A/C. Stayed 7 nights, woke to a working A/C one morning, and then it failed again later in the day. The unit (155) was managed and maintained by Vacasa, not by Islander on the Sea. We called Vacasa each day, but a A/C technician only came 3 times. And each time it was a temporary fix. It's not pleasant coming back after busy day to a hot, humid room, waking up sweaty from that hot, humid room. And trying to dry off after a shower with damp towels because there is no A/C to keep them dry. The issue is with Vacasa being responsive to their clients and their maintenance of unit 155, not with Islander on the Beach.

There was no breakfast
We didn't like the cleaning fees of $387.00 for only one night's stay, we were in the room for less than 12 hours, how do you justify charging us such a large amount for one night? we won't be renting through Booking .com ever again & we are letting our family & friends know not to book through Booking.com either. It showed excluded, so we thought that it meant the charge would not be added to our bill for a one night stay.

location
cleanliness
very quiet neighbors
Everything was fine. We would just suggest the addition of a strainer/colander for washing fruit etc. The condo also needs a few new knives; one med sized, one large. The knives that are there are dull and ineffective.

We loved the proximity to the beach and shops/restaurants. The room was great. it was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a short girls trip away.
Not a huge deal but we had no access to do laundry on the property. There was no in unit washer and dryer which was fine but the property laundry room which is approximately 100 ft from the room, we were not allowed to use because we “booked privately.”
4.5
The location next to the beach and the two pools. The property had everything you needed to make breakfast and a sandwich to bring to the hike.
Nothing, liked everybody with it, we’re one thing. The roosters sounds a lot in the morning but a little charming to.🐓

Location and quality was great. Welcome package was wonderful.
If things go smoothly, this place is perfect for a family getaway.
Connecting with support staff took a long time.
No replenishments of supplies. If you need support, it might take 24 hours.

Lovely location right on the beach
Comfortable bed, good linens
Nice bathroom with bath
Well equipped kitchenette
ABC mini market and coffee shop next door
We were in a unit which is managed by Vacasa. NB : This turns out to mean that you are NOT a guest of Islander on the beach.
You cannot use the Islander guest laundromat ( you are NOT a guest)
You cannot use the BBQs by the pool (you are NOT a guest)
You are not even supposed to use the Sun loungers on the beach ( you are NOT a guest).
The Islander Reception staff will not be that helpful ( you are NOT a guest)
When I walked into my unit, I walked into a large puddle of water and more flowed out when I opened the fridge door. Some imbecile had turned off the fridge without defrosting it. Tookover 20mins to clear up the mess. It also took over 20 mins for the Vacada "Help desk" to answer the phone.

We liked the proximity to the beach and to the airport. We could travel to both ends of the highway easily. We liked the balcony.
The bathroom wasn’t clean. The shower head was moldy as was the bathtub. it would have been nice to have some bathroom cleaning supplies available. We also bought our own toilet paper. The bed platform made loud cracking noises when we moved. It was a bit pricey.

great location, pool/hot tub area is very nice…great view
parking could be a hassle…drinks are overpriced

No TV ,NO wi-fi , bath drain broken so no bathing. Just supper boring. Not close to any other restaurants or entertainment.
1.0
Easy walk to a neighboring beach.
The ocean view that our paperwork said we'd have.
-the room overlooked the pool and outdoor bar noise.
-No broom to keep our sand out.
-Very dirty "sampler" style rug on lanai.
-Kitchen area was full of owners' stuff, no place for ours except the refridgerator
-No freezer in the refridgerator
-NO chopping board and NO counter space to chop except in the sink. Well, between the sink and conv. oven about 7"; to the right of sink about the same.
NO notice that there is no housekeeping service, and NO broom to clean up ourselves.
5.0
With the exception of the chickens that no property could be blamed for, it was very quiet and relaxing there. It was right on the water which was great for hearing the ocean. There was shopping and restaurants within walking distance and a path that could be used for getting exercise and taking those sunrise pics. The property was roomy for a studio and had anything you might need for a great stay. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed.
The bed was comfortable, but the mattress was pretty mobile so we struggled with it a bit trying to keep it in place on the platform. The TV was confusing so we didn't get much use out of it but that wasn't really a hardship.

Received a code to a locked box for the key to our room. It was convenient and very easy .

right on the beach
not having room service for clean towels and trash
