It was overall a bit disappointing.

It was quiet except that it could be because there were no other guests on our floor. The room opens onto a common enclosed area and if other guests are present it could be loud. The room was big enough. The staff seemed indifferent and we did not have much interaction with them. When we arrived it seemed like they were not expecting us although we had received a text earlier telling us that our room was ready.

The equipment in the shower should be upgraded. At first our shower did not even work. To get the shower to stay at a decent level with hot water was almost impossible. Guests should be aware that the property is located a considerable distance from the main area of the town. If you are walking you will be going uphill much of the way. The hotel does not offer breakfast and there are no restaurants nearby so for that as well you will either need to take a moto-taxi or walk. Colombia is one of the best places for coffee in the world. The hotel provided only instant coffee which needed to be heated in a microwave. This seemed ridiculous. The hotel could at least provide a coffee maker and some decent coffee. The main bed was so small that it was almost impossible for two people of normal size to sleep in it. That fact did not seem clear in the hotel's materials and photos.

EVERYTHING! Very clean, calm, nice views from the windows, friendly staff.. Excellent fi wi, if you need to work, well equipped kitchen (there is a shop in a few meters from the place, the pueblo itself doesn't offer many options of restaurants). A bit far from central plaza, but it was what we were looking.

Very good

Spacious bedroom and common room and well equipped kitchen. Hot and cold drinking water, coffee and tea are free. Very friendly owners. We got an room upgrade to a room with private bathroom for just a bit more pesos. Location great, just a bit outside the centre, like a 10 minute stroll. Nice exit point to various hikes. Highly recommended place if you don’t mind a little cold.

It got really cold inside the appartment at night. Be prepared to dress multi-layer. We even wore our wintercoats in the evening some times. The hot shower is electrical and it’s only hot when opened just a tiny bit, so don’t expect anything luxurious. We avoided taking a shower because of the cold in the house.

Best value in Monguí by far.

One of the best value hotels in Colombia. I have been to perhaps 80 or more different hotels here, and this ranks at the top. Amazing beds. Helpful and friendly owners. A well stocked kitchen, free coffee and water. Extremely quiet. Some of the best sleeps I have had, I also rented a very high quality mountain bike from them. Very, very clean. Soap and towels provided. I have been to Monguí a few times, but will stay here from now on. Lovely people.

Nice owner, clean and spacious, not in a center of the town, but a nice walk with beautiful views. I highly recommend this place
