The breakfast

You cannot find a better location in Merida. The rooms were very clean, have air-con, a safe and a fridge. The beds are reeeally comfortable and the shower facilities were modern (and fantastic!). The staff were polite and helpful with local knowledge. The cafe next door opens early for breakfast and was very reasonably priced!
I wish there was a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. The decor was fun, but I did wonder if my 75 year old mother would be okay with it, as it turns out she really liked the hotel - so don't be swayed by the theme (it is tastefully done, even if my room had Johnny from The Shining in it).

Breakfast was somewhat a joke. The signage and lack of a map on the hotel’s website was a worthless joke. I almost gave up looking for the place.
A god damn map on their website.

Great location only a short walk from the station and an easy walk into the old town to see the ruins and appreciate a relaxed lifestyle! The themed room was good and comfortable and even in the angle of the building they made an effort so that you feel you have space. I would have liked to stay a second night and get to know the town better

Wonderfull little hotel. Loved everything about it. We stayed in the Katheryn Bigelow room. It had a nice double bed with an additional pull-down single. The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. The aircon worked perfectly. Wouldn't change a thing.
Nothing.

Great location, easy parking. Good value for the cost!
If only the room have had a minibar/refrigerator it would have been excellent!

The staff at Cervantes were kind and responsive to needs during our stay. The hotel is just a short walk from the main attractions in the city and near many shops and restaurants. It is also conveniently just a few minute walk from the train station.
My spouse and I would prefer our own pillows (instead of one long pillow on the double bed). We didn't think to mention this to the staff at the time. Perhaps they would have given us different pillows.
