Far enough away from town that you can see the stars. The receptionist who greeted us (Jack) was extremely friendly! It's also a very pretty hotel, reminiscent of a log ski lodge.
The view from the leisure room is also absolutely stunning

the noise isolation between the rooms should be improved. some people can be very noisy especially at night.

Lovely house and location as it was 10 years ago with spectacular and peaceful country scenery. The staffs were short-handed but still managed to provide good service and helpful information. Very nice place to stay around the region.
Nothing particular.

The staff was amazingly sweet, friendly, and incredibly helpful! We greatly appreciated the spontaneous beer selling, as well as the free car rides. <3 Thank you, Adagio! We're looking forward to coming again!

The views are amazing. considering it’s a pension it was clean and well maintained.
Toilet felt a bit small. breakfast could be improved.

We stayed one night at the villa one night at the main building. If you are a large group consider taking the villa, the main building has better view though. They picked and dropped us up from Biei station. We did take the taxi one time. It costs around 1200¥. The location is wonderful, specially to enjoy sunset. They have free bicycle which you can borrow to ride around. The host lady super nice and very accomodating.
I took the breakfast option one day as it was recommended in some reviews but it was not really worth it.

What a serene place! Serenity and peace.
There is a lobby with grand view on each floor, playing calm music as background. Very peaceful to pause the moment and immerse yourself into rest.
The breakfast as fresh as local fresh groceries! Lettuce from the farm of chef’s friend!
We rented bikes from this hotel for free and rid over to one of the most popular hills nearby around the sunset time. VIEWTIFUL!!!
Please give it a try to ride a bicycle here when sunny! I couldn’t stop smiling because I was so happy riding a bike on this beautiful neighborhood. Felt so good.
Thank you, Mr. Jack and other staffs who take a good care of this hotel!
Currently dinner not available. Only breakfast available as ¥1,000.

The room is very clean and spacious, giving me a feeling of being home. The pension is surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful atmosphere.
Some ants entered my room probably because of the rainy weather but it was not a big deal.
