Super Lage zur Calle 70 und Metro
Das Einzelzimmer lag direkt neben der Lobby/ Freizeitraum, daher sehr sehr laut. Es wurde jedoch darauf geachtet dass nach 24 Uhr Ruhe herrscht

Clean place. Wifi was ok. Some staff was helpful. I would have liked it if the hostel had organized more events to get to know people. They did have a nice salsa class; besides that no other events to get to know other people. The bar area was closed.
I was overcharged (a lot). I was told is an extra charge for Booking.com. There is no such thing. Booking.com was indeed offering a discount and the hostel decided to charge me for that discount saying it was a charge from booking.com. For the price I paid, I would have stayed in a different hostel. This is not acceptable! I got there at 22:00 so I decided to pay and stay otherwise I would have looked and stayed in a different one. Some of the staff weren't very helpful, weren't offering much information about what was happening in the hostel or what could be done in Medellin.
10.0 / 10.0
It’s the atmosphere created by the staff and hosteliers.
8.0 / 10.0
right by the main party area, but around the corner so it’s not super loud, staff accommodated us well
7.0 / 10.0
The position is very good, close to the metro station and Carrera 70, with many restaurants and great nightlife
The room was too small for 2 people, and too close to the kitchen and the common area: too much noise during night hours

Staff was really friendly
WiFi was OK but really slow sometimes switched to Mobile Data even though being directly in the hostel

Excellent location close to restaurants and easy walk to sights. Hot water and well equipped kitchen with an oven!! Super helpful staff and good hang out areas.

Really nice common areas with hammocks. Good wifi signal. Showers and beds are decent. Staff are very nice. Kitchen is good. Free coffee always a plus
The rooms were a bit too hot. Small room with 8 people and no fan

good overall hostel. Good location near the metro and they gave me a metro card to use. Make sure you check out a football game and use Didi, Uber and the metro to get around the city.happy I stayed in this area as opposed to el poblado
wasn’t happy that the 4-bed bedroom was significantly warmer than the 6 bed bedroom. The social environment wasn’t the best. the bathroom could be cleaner

I appreciated the coffee, but that was all. There was no breakfast.
Laureles location
Internet kept dropping.

Nothing
Everything - I thought it was a party hostel but no its dead nothing
5.0 / 10.0
Location is about 5 min walk to metro, stadium and shops. Area felt safe. Laundry was completed very quickly for us available at an extra cost in the hostel.
There's a social atmosphere in the hostel, particularly for those who enjoy going for drinks and nights out.
Despite social atmosphere in the evening, it wasn't disruptive and we slept well each night.
Towels provided free of charge and hot showers
- There is no decision between public and paying guests. The bar is open to the public and while there is a small sign upstairs can realistically be accessed by anyone. There are no lockers for large bags and no keys rooms. There are small lockers provided however.
- Despite the best efforts of the two cleaners the kitchen and utensils were not great. All utensils could really be do with being upgraded and there was stove between all guests.
- Recreational space was limited. And often this space was given to extra guests as beds or the chairs were moved into the bar meaning we ewt our dinner sitting on the floor one evening.
- Major lack of plugs in rooms, not all beds had plugs beside it.

The location is perfect. It's a few blocks off the main street so you have peace and quiet, but it's not so far that it feels desolate and dangerous. The staff is extremely friendly and even spoke some English. They even arranged my ride to the airport.
The rooms can be very hot with the window closed. There's a fan in the room to circulate the air, but if your roomies keep the window closed it's gonna be hot in there. Not really the hostel's fault, just a heads up.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it was easy to meet people on the language exchange nights and the location was great for Laureles, close to Euphoria dance school!
I stayed in 2 different 8 bed dorms and one was way way way too small. You couldn’t leave your backpack anywhere. That room should have had 1 bunk bed less! The bathrooms also always felt dirty, even though I did see them clean it (so might just be because it’s old?).

Really big and comfy beds, clean bathrooms with hot water. Helpful staff. Good quality free coffee is a nice touch :)

Friendly people, 24 hour reception, location was pretty convenient, liked the hammocks/communal areas
This would be a nice place if there weren’t so many people staying there. My room was pretty crowded and stuffy, the bathrooms became dirty quickly because there were so many people using them. They double booked my friend’s bed, even though she’d already checked in and left her stuff there earlier in the day, so she had to share a single bunk with my other friend as it was too late for her to go somewhere else by the time they told her.

good for budgeted travelers
big communal area
not always having hot water
no socket near my friend’s bed
lockers are not big enough to fit the whole backpacks

Very sociable hostel, organize like a big house, in a lively neighborhood🥰
I loved stay here and the chiva party is so funny!

Very familiar place, ideal for meeting other travellers and locals
5.0 / 10.0
Good location and socialable hostel when it’s easy to meet people.
The bathrooms are not clean. The cleaner spent most of her time on her phone. The kitchen facilities could have been better. It just looks a bit run down.

If you're looking for a party, this is a great place. The location is great too and the beds are very comfy.
I wasn't aware that this is a party hostel. The window of my dorm was facing the on-site bar, which meant that it was impossible to rest until midnight or find a quiet place in the hostel at all. The walls between rooms are also really thin, so I could hear the conversations in the bordering room. Also, a lot more people than the 4 people staying in the room kept walking in and out of the room.
