The location is great. It is close to where the boats come in and where the bulk of the village is located. There is a great restaurant right across the street. The kids had a great time chasing lizards, and managed to spot a sloth on the property!
We stayed at this property 12 years prior, and it was much nicer then. It doesn't seem like much upkeep has happened - the sink was pulling away from the wall in the bathroom, there were no longer mirrors in the room or the bathroom, and the plastic chairs in the room were getting gross. It would also be nice if there were brooms in the rooms, as everything is sandy, and we had no way of tidying up.
The shared kitchen is still tiny, except this time it was FILTHY.

We loved our stay at Beverly’s Hill! The rooms are simple, but you’ll have everything you need. And Simon is a lovely host who really wants to make sure you have a good time!
We enjoyed hangig out at the veranda of our cabin, exploring the island by canoe and visiting Wizard and Red Frog beach.
Nothing to complain

I enjoyed the vibe of this place, very relaxing and beautiful with many different plants. And Simon is a great guy, happy we met. :)

Great place to chill in the middle of nature. The room was simple but had everything one can need. Plus it had an amazing sea view from the balcony. The personel was really nice and helpful.

I enjoyed being surrounded by nature, in a quieter area of Bocas and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.
The double bed was small and there were holes in the mosquito nets

It is a nice location in a nice garden and a nice view over the bay.
You can fill up the drinking water, but why is the filter system not in the kitchen area?
But it could be much better arranged.
I'm not getting the concept of this place.
The kitchen is much too small, and very poor equipped.
The pots are much too big, so it takes ages to boil a cup of water.
The internet modem is hanging not central, so you have to come to the comunal area, where the mosquitos will eat you, the whole day.
Also you will annoy other people, with calls and soo.
The mossy net in my room got mire holes, as it would save.
I'm not getting the concept of this place.

Great value for money and Simon, the host, was absolutely incredible and super helpful with ideas and suggestions of places to eat, where to visit etc.
Simon also shares his filtered water with the guests, so you dont need to buy your own, which was a lovely touch.
The spot has a fabulous view out over the water, and the wifi was good and strong in the communal lounge (I was working while traveling, and great wifi was a big priority for me).
There are loads of beautiful birds and bugs around, even gorgeous little red frogs to see in the garden.
Nothing to add here.

The gardens here are beautifully designed and set out giving shade, private spaces as well as flowers to attract humming birds and butterflies it is a real sanctuary just off the main busy Street outside. The owner Simon is a very kind host who really tries very hard to make sure his guests are happy and taken care of. Please don't expect a luxury lodge, it is one of the cheaper places to stay on Bastimentos but this doesn't mean it is not good. OK some things are a little worn and well used and some maintenance is required here and there but please consider they have had nearly no guests through the whole pandemic. We took the highest room at the back of the property with a fantastic view of the bay. Free water refills are provided as is a well equipped but tiny kitchen to make your own meals. We had one night where the music from nearby property was very loud but this was the end of a 4 day festival and after this it was much quieter for the rest of our stay.
There is a very good restaurant Alvins just adjacent to the property.

I enjoyed that the property is tucked into the trees on top of the hill and has lots of foliage.
The noise from the locals of the town is a bit excessive but it’s a part of the experience!

This place was overall LOVELY. Staying in the twin room in the attic was such a treat. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Bastimentos

Beverly’s hill is very unique and charming. it has a beautiful garden where you can see red frogs everyday and enjoy the view on the ocean. It’s located central near the docks in Bastimentos town and the walk to the wizard beach trough the jungle is a lot of fun. The owner Simon is great, very nice, helpful and open. We really fell in love with this little piece of paradise!

Authentic rooms / huts, cool stay!
The running water was out for a day or two during my stay but other than that no problems 👌

Homely and friendly place. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and we even extended it few more days. Simon is a very helpful host with charming personality, genuinely caring about guests wellbeing. We appreciated all the little things, like free drinking filtered water we got, otherwise buying gallons of bottled water would be a nightmare (and such a damage to the environment by producing plastic waste). We recommend the place 100%

I wanted to stay in Old Bank to see more of local life, and that's was absolutely worth it, Simon is a great host and very knowledgeable about destination.Rooms are very simple, you are in the middle of the jungle so you need to count with that :-) but if you want to experience something local and more simple it's a great choice. Its also only cold rain water showers but it's hot so i didn't mind at all.Village can be tiny little bit noisy during night but again that's experiencing local life too (bring earplugs;-),there is couple of restaurants, quite well equipped tiny village shop and place is super close to dock,no trouble to catch water taxi anytime to Bocas.
There was trouble with water pump so bathroom in my shed was not working, but there was another bathroom which can be used-i am sure Simon will fix that as soon as he can
Value for money-that's not comment for this place only i find that in the whole area, but that's up to everyone of course

Absolutely loved this place, beautiful nature, the most beautiful beaches I’ve experienced and not over run with people quite private infact and only a short distance away made it pretty perfect. Accommodation was comfortable and clean, Dani the caretaker was lovely and friendly and she was also very helpful and available when I needed to ask anything, it has a chilled and laid back island vibe , exactly what I was looking for. I would def recommend this and would 100% go back, infact I was sad to be leaving, I find places like this with its natural beauty are few and far between these days especially with such good value for money, I really enjoyed my stay, friendly people, with good food and bars only a short hop away, perfect for what I was looking for! Thanks and hopefully see you again.
That I couldn’t stay longer 😏

At least hot water in the "suite"
These is what could be better:
1. Valid phone number
2. Having the payment method everywhere. I found websites saying that visa/matercard coulr be accepted, but only cash was accepted. I had to travel to another island to find a teller machine
3. There was a hamock that got broken and I falled on the concrete floor and nobody cared about it
4. Not suitable for elder people as the stairs are close to 90 degrees angle

it was a beautiful amazing stay, if you are not looking for a typical luxury island vacation this is a perfect place. the garden is so nice, you can watch animals, you have a great few, it’s comfy and perfect when you want a time without phone because wifi is only working in the common area. from our house we had a few over the whole bay and we could even watch some whales at one morning, amazing feeling! it‘s also perfect to make new friends and Simon the owner is such a lovely and funny guy. We really enjoyed it.
could be more clean, like kitchen and bathroom.
