Holiday home Titania is uniquely located on the corner of an island in the Sânemar Lake, in direct connection with the Frisian Lakes and near the village Eernewoude.
Due to the wonderful location, you will find water, space, tranquility and privacy all around. The house has a large garden with several private jetties and seats. Around the house is a wooden terrace and in various locations you will find wooden garden furniture with cushions, lounge set, sun loungers and parasols.
The house has all the comfort (such as 220 volts, water, sewerage, gas, hot air heating, water heater, stereo and Internet access) which is very special for an island.
You also have a private boat house with 2 sailboats (a Falcon and 16m2), a rowing / motor boat to reach the shore and 4 canoes (for 5 persons).
In consultation, you might want to rent additionally the 12 person luxury boat. This boat is fully equipped: on board you will find plenty of glasses, plates, cutlery, pans etc for 12 persons, refrigerator, stereo, heating, cooking, wine cooler etc.
The house itself has been completely renovated, is cozy and comfortably furnished and fully equipped, so you will have a great holiday.
Bed, bath and kitchen towels are plenty available. You will also find bathrobes and beach towels that you can use during your stay. We ensure that the beds are made on arrival and towels are provided. All this gives a feeling of wellbeing and comfort, as it should be on your holiday!
The living room has a seating area and a dining area with direct access to the kitchen. There is enough wood to lit the fireplace, but of course there is also a regular heating. The house will be pleasantly warm in short time, also in the bedrooms.
Both the kitchen and the bathroom were completely renovated in 2012 with the latest appliances and furnishings. So you can find in the kitchen, next to the usual equipment, also a convection / microwave oven, Miele dishwasher, ice cube machine in the freezer and a beer tender. In addition, you will find coffee, tea, spices etc.
The bathroom has a new Miele washer and dryer.

idyllisch weekje
De ligging van dit super gezellige huis is werkelijk ongelofelijk mooi. Zeer privé, en toch door de 3 verschillende aanlegsteigers met zitjes ook een heel mooi uitzicht op het water. Ook de vele mogelijkheden van watersport: Falk, Pico, kano, sup, zwemmen zorgen voor een onvergetelijk verblijf. Wij komen graag terug.

Eine traumhate Woche im Haus am See
Der Kontakt mit Daphne und die Schlüsselübergabe lief reibungslos ab.
Das Haus ist ein Traum am See und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten sonnige Tage und konnten viel Zeit im und auf dem Wasser verbringen. Dabei haben wir besonders die tägliche Kanutour genossen :)
Selbst für unseren Hund war der Urlaub auf der Insel ein spannendes Erlebnis. Zudem waren wir mit einem drei Wochen alten Baby da und die Überfahrt mit dem Boot zum Häuschen war problemlos möglich.
Auch die Umgebung ist wunderschön, so kann man verschiedene Wanderungen durch das Naturschutzgebiet machen, nach Leeuwarden fahren oder einen Tag am nahegelegenen Meer verbringen. Im Örtchen Eernewaude gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und natürlich leckere Pommes und Eis zu kaufen.
Insgesamt einfach wunderschön!

Traumhafter Fleck Erde
Hinter uns liegen vier Tage bester Entspannung. Es ist - ohne Übertreibung - einer der schönsten Plätze, an dem ich je war. Perfekt eingerichtet, muss man auf keinerlei Komfort verzichten. Ein Taumurlaub!

Besonders die bereitstehenden Boote machen viel Spaß, ob zum Angeln, zum Segeln oder für einen Ausflug in die wunderbare Umgebung.
Waren in 2018 bereits das zweite mal dort und werden in 2019 gerne wiederkommen. Freuen uns schon jetzt!

super locatie heel fijn huis alles royaal aanwezig
we hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Titania. heel leuk en bijzonder om op een eilandje te zijn. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel liefdevol en persoonlijk ingericht! wat een beetje jammer is is dat er vele kamera's zijn waardoor je je in het begin niet heel vrij voelt.. jammer dat dat kennelijk nodig is op zo'n mooi plekje in de natuur. de kajaks zijn veel gebruikt. we hadden ons eigen kleine zeilbootje mee : heel makkelijk met zoveel aanlegsteigers :-) Bij aankomst zijn we perfect wegwijs gemaakt door Ulbe! dank daarvoor :-) fietsen en een kleinere sloep zijn via hem ook te huren. helaas waren we er slechts een weekje.. Wat een luxe dat je zo'n fijn huis op zo'n plek kunt huren! Dank daarvoor. hopelijk in de toekomst weer!

Eine eigene Insel im Paradis
Der Aufenthalt inklusive der ganzen Abwicklung war phantastisch.
Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt alles was man braucht. Auch Dusche und Toiletten sind sauber und modern - alles Top
Das Grundstück ist wunderschön, es gibt zahlreiche gemütliche Sitzecken, egal ob am Wasser oder auf einer der Terrassen, es ist überall super und es gibt auch die Möglichkeit sich hin und wieder mal aus dem Weg zu gehen. Zudem ist alles super gepflegt.
Das Motorboot zum Haus ist sehr praktisch und auch die Kayaks sowie die Surfbretter zum SUP sind super.
Inzwischen gibt es neben dem Haus auch ein weiteres kleines Gebäude, quasi eine überdachte Terrasse. Sollte es mal regnen oder zu windig/kühl sein, lässt es sich hier sehr gut aushalten.
Wenn es mal etwas lauter wird, dann stört man keine direkten Nachbarn und auch der Verwalter (Ulbe) ist super freundlich, flexibel und hilfsbereit.
Fazit:
Das Haus ist für eine größere Gruppe (oder Familie), die ein paar Tage Ruhe und Entspannung sucht perfekt geeignet. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Mückenspray! Die direkte Lage am See umgeben von Natur zieht sehr viele Mücken, Bremsen etc. an

Unieke plek en waanzinnige voorzieningen
Titania is echt een uniek huis om te huren. We hebben ontzettend genoten en alle voorzieningen die je maar nodig hebt zijn aanwezig. De communicatie verliep heel soepel en ze waren ook nog heel makkelijk met in en uitcheck tijden. De boten waren in goede staat, en de bedden lagen goed. We komen zeker graag nog een keer terug!

We hadden geluk met het weer (zonnig en wind); dan kan de vakantie op zo`n plek en zo`n compleet huis (alles aanwezig !) niet meer stuk....juist het overvaren naar het huis kun je zien als prettig: helemaal los van de hectiek van alle dag. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Prachtig huis op unieke plek
Als je het leuk vindt om op een eiland te zitten, en de hele dag in alle rust met bootjes te klooien en van de natuur en het water te genieten, dan is dit waarschijnlijk de allerleukste plek om dat te doen in Friesland. Een prachtig en comfortabel huis, van alle denkbare gemakken voorzien, op een unieke lokatie, en met een paar zeilboten, kano's, motorbootje, zwemsteigers, en weet niet hoeveel zitplekken buiten om van het eiland en het meer te genieten. We hadden allemaal een top week!

There's a red house over yonder...
Fantastisch als je houdt van rust, water, natuur, varen; zowel zeilen (3 zeilboten) als een prachtige sloep aanwezig, en tevens luxe. Aangenaam contact met zowel de verhuurder als degene die de focal point is voor de sleutels etc.
Maar goed, kom vooral niet, want ik houd deze plek liever voor mezelf!

Pracht huisje, schitterende locatie.
Na de fijne, goede en snelle communicatie met de gastvrouw hebben wij het afgelopen weekend gebruik mogen maken van Titania.
Het huis is erg compleet, met prachtige details ingericht en licht op een mooie locatie aan een rustig vaarwater.
De diverse teraslocaties, aan het water of in de tuin geven alle mogelijkheden om goed en gezellige de dag en avond door te komen.
De separaat bij te huren sloep is een echte aanrander en sluit aan op de gehele kwaliteitsbeleving van een erg goed weekend in de Alde Feanen.
Willen bij deze nogmaals bedanken voor het gebruik maken van en zullen zeker met de tijd terugkeren.

Well appointed villa in stunning location
We rented this villa in the natural park the Alde Faenen for the first time in August 2015 for one week and rented it again this year (2016) for two weeks.
The house is in a secluded location on one of the lakes of the Alde Faenen. It has 3 nicely appointed double bedrooms plus one bedroom for 4 people. Throughout the house paintings & canvas photographs from the local artist adorn the walls. The kitchen is well equipped including a combined hot air/micro wave oven, large fridge and dishwasher. All from top quality brands. The bathroom has a washer/dryer. All in good functioning order. There is no shortage of utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, plates or glasses so it can comfortably cater for large groups. And it has a fireplace with wood provided for the colder days.
The villa caters very well for holidays on the water: it provides three wooden sailing boats (Valk), 4 kayaks, 2 surfboards, a motorboat (to get to a from the villa) and optionally a luxury sloop. We always paid extra for the sloop because it allows for day trips wider afield from the villa by connected waterways to Leeuwarden, Sneek and Grou which are all worth a visit.
The owners do everything to make every stay special: from the welcome hamper with local specialties to dealing with any problems or special requests immediately and effectively. The villa is professionally cleaned before every stay.
Holidays in Friesland are of course very much dependent on good weather given its focus on watersports. However, we found the house well stocked with boardgames and books for the rainy days. Also, picturesque towns closeby are an ideal escape for when the weather fails to co-operate.
We hired the villa twice and will do so again. We’d recommend it to any family who loves watersports and nature.

Alles war rundum schön
In Titania kann man perfekt entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als reichlich in Allem. Man merkt in allen Details, dass die Eigentümer das Haus für sich eingerichtet haben. Leeuwarden und Groningen sind nicht weit für Shoppingtouren wenn es mal zu einsam wird auf der Insel.

net zo mooi als het plaatje
Het perfecte huis voor ons familie-uitje in het Pinksterweekend. Helaas veel wind en koud ,waardoor we minder van alle voorzieningen rondom het huis konden genieten dan we gehoopt hadden ,maar juist daardoor was de ruimte om het huis ook heel fijn als we toch naar buiten wilden.
Het meest karakteristieke en prettige aan het huis en de plek was dat er zoveel rekening is gehouden met alle weersomstandigheden en soorten mensen. Overal was het comfortabel te maken . De relatief kleine huiskamer was gezellig en zo ingericht dat ieder zijn plek kon vinden .
Klein min puntje was dat de zeilboten niet helemaal in orde waren (misschien de eerste huurders van het seizoen ? ) ,maar daar heeft de eigenaresse achteraf heel sympathiek op gereageerd . Ook de beheerder was trouwens heel behulpzaam .In het geheel genomen straalde alles uit dat men "niet moeilijk deed" ,met een goed oog voor wat een vakantieganger wenst en prettig vindt.
Er is weinig te huur voor zoveel mensen op zo'n mooie plek met veel privacy en toch midden tussen de mensen op en aan het water ,we hopen dan ook nog eens terug te komen om volop te kunnen genieten van de omgeving en alle zon/zwem en vaargelegenheid !

Perfecte plek
Wat een fantastische plek is dit. Een geweldig mooi huis, overal prachtig aangelegde terrassen, fijne steigers en schitterend en perfect onderhouden bootjes om mee te varen. Binnen is alles aanwezig om een luxe tijd te hebben, van keukengerei tot handdoeken en badjassen. We hebben ons als familie met z'n elven hier heerlijk thuis en op ons gemak gevoeld. En het eiland gaf een heerlijk vrij gevoel. Een echte aanrader, en voor de prijs hief je het niet te laten.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Titania! Die Insel, auf der das Haus steht, ist absolut traumhaft! Von jeder Seite aus hat man einen tollen Ausblick, kann entweder die Schiffe und Action auf dem Wasser oder ganz in Ruhe eine große Schilf-Wiese genießen. Auch das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen: alles was man fürs tägliche Leben braucht, ist vorhanden, die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich, die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Außerdem sind alle Fenster und Türen mit Insekten-Netzen versehen, so dass man auch abends, wenn man vor dem Kamin sitzt, die Fenster offen lassen kann. Zahlreiche gemütliche Sitzecken laden zum Verweilen ein, auch eine Feuerstelle ist vorhanden. Wer möchte, kann mit einem der zahlreichen Boote eine Tour durch die Gewässer machen.

Ihr Haus war sehr gepflegt und mit vielen liebevollen und praktischen Details ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns ab der ersten Minute ausgesprochen wohl. Die Betreuung durch Frau de Bruin war unaufdringlich und effektiv. Die Außenanlage ist unschlagbar und die klassische Valk-Jolle ein echtes Segelvergnügen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Rust, ruimte, comfortabel
Begin september met een groep vriendinnen een weekend naar Titania geweest. De plek zelf met zeilgelegenheid, terassen aan het water, zwemmogelijkheid etc. had zoveel te bieden dat we de kant bijna niet opgeweest zijn. We hadden echt het gevoel dat we het hele eiland voor ons zelf hadden. Wat een rust en ruimte! Het huis is leuk en comfortabel ingericht en is in verhouding kleiner dan de ruimte buiten.
