About this apartment rental

Come and enjoy real beachfront living! Located at the Sonoran Sky Resort, Unit 506, right on Sandy Beach in the beautiful fishing village of Puerto Penasco, Mexico. We are located just a short 4 hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. My condo is beautifully furnished with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is well appointed should you decide to cook at home. There are two living areas, one on the terrace and one in the living room. There is a pub table for 2, and additional seating at the kitchen island. There is also a table for four on the patio for dining outside and a perfect place to play games! There is a Keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Don't forget the coffee pods if you like a Keurig. I have not found them down here yet! The condo works wonderfully for entertaining. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, and there is a hide-a-bed in the living room with an upgraded memory foam mattress. The resort amenities are top drawer, featuring 3 pools, swim-up bar, 3 hot tubs, and even a waterslide for the kids. You can belly-up at the beach-front Tiki Bar, or enjoy a sports bar with wall to wall televisions to watch multiple sporting events at the same time. There is also a fine-dining restaurant right on the beach. Stay in shape in the fully appointed gym, or enjoy the full-service spa! Most importantly, there are miles and miles of beautiful white sandy beaches to walk everyday! It truly is my happiest place on earth, and I am willing to share it with you and your family when I am not enjoying it myself. booked a 3 day getaway thru VRBO We chose a one bedroom condo It was very nice, their cleaning service was good , Jane was a good hostess answering our questions so many activities to do at the beach we really enjoy and recommended these place .

This property has everything one needs for a week or a month at the beach. It was clean, beautifully decorated, great response with the owner... the King bed was super comfortable. If we do a 1 bedroom again, this would be the one!

We had a wonderful first time adventure. Jane was communicative from day one. She responded quickly to any questions we had. The condo was clean and everything we needed for the long weekend away was supplied! Beyond the condo the complex was also clean and all a very pleasant experience. We are looking forward to another visit in the very near future!

This Condo is perfect for anyone staying in PPenasco. Everything u will need is here including beach towels, cooler, etc. the Food at the pool was also surprisingly good. Jane our Host was most helpful. Instructions were clear.

Our trip was amazing! The condo was perfect for our family of 3. It had everything we needed including towels for beach and bath, comfy bed, internet and air conditioning. The kitchen also had pots and pans and seasonings. The resort itself had a great restaurant, which we had dessert and breakfast at. My son loved the pools and hopping on the barstools. Jane responded quickly and gave thorough instructions. We will definitely be going back.

Stayed: 7/5-7/9 -My friend and I m stayed and had the BEST time!! Not only is the resort centrally located to the main shopping area but the condo itself is centered w/in the building and on a great floor to catch amazing views of the sea each morning & sunset while also having privacy. We enjoy cooking & the kitchen is stocked w/ various appliances (ex: rice cooker/ instapot etc). Great amount of utensils & seasonings to make the stay just a little easier. Condo was spacious, plenty of shower & beach towels & there’s even a buggie to help you lug your things to the beach. Wifi was good & the place was clean. Bed was a little too soft for our preference but all the other amenities really made up for it. Highly recommend! We will gladly look to returning to this condo (if we’re lucky) on our next trip out! Loved Sonoran Sky and our condo. Right by the elevator, awesome view of the pools and the beach and the point. Swim up bar a plus. Great breakfast buffet on property. We will book here again and again.

Everything you want and need in one place! I cook usually 1 or 2 meals if I'm staying 4 days and everything you need is provided to do so. If not cooking, the restaurant downstairs has a great menu! the breakfast buffet includes more than you can imagine! The swim up bar menu is plenty for lunch and if you choose to go out , the reef and mare blue along with others are just minutes away! This particular condo provides beach chairs , towles , and wagon which makes it easy to pack up and head down to the ocean. Beautiful views from the balcony and comfy bed after a long day! If this particular condo is booked for your dates, search for another at Sonoran Sky its one of my favorite places to stay and we have stayed at many!

We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo but the bed was comfortable. My only complaint could be the wind whistling thru to patio door. Very loud on a windy day.

The condo looks better in person, just beautiful. Wonderful views of the ocean! Close enough to town to get authentic Mexican food. If going to the grocery store, go to “Ley’s”! It’s cheaper and has a good selection of food.

This place is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, it was our first time down, and the facility is amazing. Our owner is Awesome, she was quick to respond and the home is so Beautiful and furnished. It looks right over the pools and sea of Cortez!! We were so Thankful that we stayed here, You will love it.!

What a great little condo. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The view was amazing, the food was delicious, the staff very friendly. The only negative that we noticed was the sewer smell every time we flushed the toilet.

The unit has an amazing view and it’s very well decorated. About the cleaning it was ok. I washed the linens when we got there, they had a funky smell and didn’t look clean to me. Everything else was ok.

This place is even more beautiful than the photos. Although we didn't cook while there it does have a fully stocked kitchen. The restaurant located at the Sonoran, was reasonably priced with a delicious menu. My husband and I would definitely return.

We had a group who had other rooms at the Sonoran Sky. They had property managed rentals. We had the most amenities including beach towels, beach chairs, an extra cooler, and every appliance, utensil, you would need. The room was clean and adequate amount of shower towels. We walked almost the entire beach, 2.5 miles each way and concluded we were at the best resort! The pool bar and service was amazing and close to beach, so we could go back and forth from beach to pool very easily! Also, the owner, Jane, is very responsive.

The reason I gave only 2 stars to "accuracy of online listing", is because less than a week before our trip, VRBO sent us a message stating that our stay was only for 4 days when it was actually for 5. When I contacted Jane, her response was, "would you like to stay for 5 days"? I would have felt better if she would have checked on it first before replying rather than taking VRBO's word for it. I had already paid for 5 days several months in advance. Also, the picture shows a barbecue on the porch. That is not there. Everything about the condo was wonderful except the bed. The bed needs replacing. The springs make weird noises and give you the feeling that you will be on the floor at any minute. I would recommend a safe be installed in the condo so occupants don't have to carry their passports, money, jewelry, and etc., with them every time they go out. I would also recommend changing the code to the front door every time a new occupant takes over the condo. The place is wonderful though. Great view, fully stocked, well-kept, very clean, and Jane is very responsive to your needs. We had a coffee pot break while we were there and within 2 days, she had one delivered to us.
