C'est un endroit qui pourrait être sympa car il y a beaucoup de verdure, mais rien n'est entretenu .

Lors de notre arrivée, bon accueil, mais à part ça... en entrant dans la chambre, on avait l'impression quelle venait de se libérer, la douche était pleine d'eau dans le bac, les draps et les taies d'oreiller, n'étaient pas nets, ils avaient sans doute déjà servis. Nous étions 2 personnes, il n'y avait qu'une serviette de toilette humide, nous avons voulu ouvrir un volet, impossible, car il y avait des toiles d'araignées partout . En dehors de la chambre, il y avait un cabanon ou l'on pouvait éventuellement manger, et de quoi faire le petit déjeuner, la cafetière était sale, 2 bols, pas de petites cuillères , mais 2 cuillères à soupe. rien n'était net. Nous ne retournerons jamais dans cette chambre d'hôtes, nous avons vraiment été déçu.

mais : le lit confortable, le reste est juste acceptable, les sentiers et salon de jardin pas du tout entretenus et surtout un petit déjeuner sans café ! pas acceptable

beau cadre mais ne pas être maniaque

la chambre est située dans un bel environnement de verdure mais manque d'entretien. le coin cuisine est bien pensé mais pas très propre.

.la douche un peu moisie. la cuisine destinée aux locataires pas toujours respectueux du lieu.

Cheap stay. Take your own breakfast items with you

The location was good.

The shower area wasn’t very clean. The shed with the kitchen are wasn’t very inviting. The food in the fridge didn’t look very nice. Packets on the shelf were open and not sealed.

Very good budget stay.

Very good budget accommodation within a pretty property. The host was most helpful and obliging. The breakfast was good, given the budget nature of the rental.

Friendly staff, but not again

The garden was lovely to stay in :). The people were very friendly, although the language barrier.

I arrived a bit early so the room wasn't clean yet. No problem of course. I waited in the backyard with a book and told to them to take their time. Pretty fast I got word the room was clean. All though the bathroom was still dirty. Toothpaste in the sink, mold in the shower etc. In the evening I found out that there were hairs in the bed. This was too much for me, so I went to the owner and I was able to move to an other room. He cleaned the bathroom real quick, but I guess he forgot the toilet. They were very friendly, but I'm afraid the standard was too low. Also I woke up the next morning with a lot of, I hope, mosquito bites, but they could be something else...

Value for money but beware shared kitchen

The location of the property was right in the centre of the lovely town of Ars Sur Formans. The bedroom was fine and our host was very helpful. It was very good value for money.

There was no mention that it was a shared kitchen with other guests and the fridge was questionable.

This quite secluded gite, had all we needed for one night stay , GPS is a must to find it, private parking ,

The place felt a little tired and could do with some TLC .

Very good

Great location in the center of a village, yet very quiet. Rooms are in a small building containing a lower and an upper bedroom, surrounded by a beautiful garden . Lots of caracter plus cats and rabbits on site. Communal kitchen with stocked fridge and breakfast supplies is located in a separate garden building. Comfortable bed, good heating. I would come here again, just not with a senior family member.

Steps to 2nd floor room are steep and only suitable for physically fit people. Bottom step rotted and missing. I was there with my 93-year old father, he was on ground floor, but on the staircase that lead to the garden, he grabbed the railing and tore the skin off his finger on a rusty nail. It is a great property though, you just have to be extra careful where you walk.

Chez Gus - highly recommended independent accommodation.

Excellent value for money. Convenient, pleasant location. Comfortable, clean with nice sepatate area to eat. Hospitable, welcoming host who showed us around and left us to our own devices. Parking on the premises too. Very friendly cat that made itself comfortable on the bed.

Breakfast area could do with a kettle. Fresh croissants would have been an added bonus, but that's about it.

Actually, the stay was fine. and the village turned out to be a nice surprise.

Breakfast was fairly basic, the kettle was faulty, but there was all sorts of jam and such in the fridge ready to go. For the price of an overnight stay here, you cannot expect more. So taking that into consideration, it was a fine stay.

Actually, you had to do everything yourself for breakfast and everything was self-service. The reception was also only very short and after that I did not see anyone. But, again, for such a low price you can't expect more.

Location and confort good, but I haven't seen the owner, not at arrival, not at departure. Strange!

Location was top. Breakfast was ok.

Nobody was there to receive me. The owner was unfindable. The bed was not made.

Place is nice, but could not get service.

The room itself is nice and cozy, I also like the location and the place. Check in was smooth and on time. The host explained everything. Maybe it would have been better for people who travel in summer and do not need help

Couldn't contact the host when we needed help - phone couldn't connect, nobody answered the door. Felt quite helpless because it was remote and cold. Also kitchen tools were quite dirty, our brush turned black trying to clean it. The hot water in the shower didn't work.

Comfortable room and bed

Breakfast is ok for those who prefer sweet breakfast, not for me though. Wi-fi did not work.

Quite room with comfortable bed and private bathroom with hot water. Good continental breakfast was provided, location is really quite. Definitely can recommend this place.
