We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Our host was very flexible with our checkin time. Thoroughly stocked, close to the Pearl and river walk. Will definitely use this property again. Perfect place for a casual stay, bachelorette party and family stay.

Fantastic
We stayed at the property for a hybrid work and family trip. The house was nicely decorated, had lots of space and was very clean. The extras like shampoo in the showers and coffee for our first day already in the home was so nice so we didn't have to run out right away. The location was perfect, we had a quick drive to the convention center, walk to a park, the Pearl and the Do Seum. The owners were responsive and flexible. We will definitely be staying here again next time if it is free! Thank you Sofy and Alejandro!

The property is in disrepair! The yard / patio was not in useable condition.
We stayed in this home for our son’s graduation. The property has had some great updates, but it is not safe or ready to be rented. The yard was very overgrown and the patio they advertised with an umbrella was full of trash, debris, broken patio furniture and filthy bbq pit. There is a broken a/c vent held up with painter’s tape right in front of the bathroom. If you step on it during the night you will fall through the floor. The bed and bath linens were very limited. The front door knob fell off multiple times during our stay. (At least 12) Two of the dining room chairs are broken. They aren’t put together properly. My petite, 82 year old mom was sitting in one of the chairs when it broke. I reached out several times to the owner /manager and no one ever came by the house. I wish I could post pictures and video for you to see. We had to change our plans since we couldn’t use the outdoor space costing us time and money. We were very disappointed to spend a great deal of money to host our family for such a special celebration. This could be a great VRBO, but isn’t at this time.

Great location and home with character and style
Our host was very responsive and helpful. The home is much bigger than it looks from the outside and we had more that enough room for our group of 6 adults!

Charming not in a good way
Don’t expect any extras including hand soap, light bulbs. No extra towels, pillows or blankets.
Sketchy neighborhood, no makeup mirror.
Cleaning products were dirty.
Refrigerator was full of items we didn’t purchase.
Positive, close to Riverwalk.

Great house, great location near downtown, the Pearl, Riverwalk, museum, restaurants. Plenty of room for guests. Quiet neighbors, good parking. Host is quick to respond (the only think we needed was more bath towels).

Great weekend getaway!
This was our first visit to the San Antonio area and we enjoyed the area immensely. Very conveniently located near the River Walk and the Pearl District with lots of things to do just minutes away. Alejandro was quick to respond with any questions we had and we appreciated his help. Would definitely stay there again should we return to the area.

San Antonio
We loved the house. We would stay here again. The house is redone beautifully. It has such wonderful character. The owner did a fantastic job. It’s in a location that makes anywhere in the city easy to get to. I cannot stop saying what a great time we had at the home and that’s what it felt like , a home. Thank you!!!

Too hot to stay.
The location was great. Close to everything we wanted to do. The owner did contact us right before we got there that the ac wasn’t working like it should but would cool down at night. We were almost there so we said it would have to be okay as long as it cooled down. When we got there at first I didn’t realize it was the place we were staying because it didn’t match the picture. The grass was over grown and there was trash in the yard and things just thrown wherever. The house on the inside was updated but the pictures might show it a little more polished than what it is. Once we got inside the house was extremely hot. We decided to leave and do some site seeing hoping it would cool down. It did not. All night it was hot and miserable. Our whole family had to bunk in one room with a fan in August. The owner was good about getting in touch with us though. Letting us know someone would be out the next day to take a look. He did give us the option to stay or to cancel our stay which was very nice. The ac couldn’t be fixed while we were there so we decided to cancel the stay. He even refunded us the room rate for the two nights since we didn’t stay there. All in all it was a little daunting to have to deal with this when we were only there for three days. And stressful on trying to find somewhere else to stay on short notice. But the owner was easy to work with and did everything he could to make the situation better. It was basically just a bad timing kind of thing.

Great Location!
This property is well located for many SanAntonio attractions and is in close proximity to Fort Sam Houston. If you enjoy the character of older homes and the renovation process you will find the house interesting. The high ceilings give the rooms a spacious feel. The gathering spaces are comfortable and the bathrooms nicely update. The windows were recently replaced and I’m certain help keep the indoor temperature comfortable. The kitchen is adequate, but definitely not a cooks kitchen. You should note there is no dishwasher. The yard and outdoor living spaces need some attention, but are fenced. Off street parking is a nice plus. Overall, this property was a pleasant rental.

Excelente ubicación
Todo perfecto, la decoración, los baños y las recamaras.
Lo único que no estuvo bien es la limpieza y orden de los jardines.
Por todo lo demás definitivamente vale la pena.

Great house
I can’t say enough good things Alejandro our first night San Antonio had straight line winds and hail power outage but we were in good hands he brought lanterns and kept us up to date on returning power the house is situated on the end of the street with off street parking plenty of privacy , I love the old charm wood floors stain glass windows and shutters and the yard with its trees and paths is special

Perfect Location!
This bungalow has had some great updates but has not been totally redone and has kept some of its 1940ish quirks. The quest for what the light switches went to was fun. Pictures posted are a little more pristine then the real thing but a great location that worked perfectly for our Trinity graduation weekend. Ample parking and lots of space to spread out and entertain my son’s girlfriends family. T

Great location, peaceful setting
We stayed here for the Battle of Flowers Parade. It was within walking distance to the parade route, as well as to the Pearl Brewery area. Uber rides are short to the Riverwalk area as well. The house is open, roomy and clean, with updated bathrooms and it’s own charm. Hanging out at the table in the kitchen in the mornings, and listening to the birds while sitting in the back yard during the day was SO much better than a hotel room. Alejandro was very responsive to issues we had with getting in the house, so not really an issue at all!
