not great

Location was fine, though not as nice as the hotel down the road

Window draughty, wifi didn't work Booking said "bed and breakfast", but breakfast wasn't included and only served after 10:00 am Rooms in a row above the pub, no amenities whatsoever Noisy in the morning, not enough hot water

It suited my needs.

My room was very nice furniture and bed wise, I didn’t have breakfast, I didn’t think it was included being as it was a pub. I was also aware that my car was parked in a public car park so I needed to get to it before the exceeded time.

I was above the area where a band were performing, I actually quite enjoyed it, but maybe someone else might have found it bothersome.I was looking for a bin in my room. There was a very small one in the bathroom.

Totnes is great and hotel well situated and fairly cimfy

Position in town,room pleasant enough.

No brek available til 10.....poor show.No parking available in v busy and cingested town

would stay here again but maybe not when it’s hot

good location lovely room good Dinner

unfortunately as we are having a heat wave, no air conditioning or even fans so sleeping was not very good and quite noisy from pub below on the sat night not so bad on Sunday and as it’s near the sea you have the inevitable cry off the sea gulls early morning

A comfortable stay in the centre of Totnes, in easy reach by public transportation

Location in centre of town and close to bus and train. Spacious room, comfortable bed. I was able to leave bags while I spent the day in town.

Seagulls at 4:30 am!

lovely room, clean and bright, would stay again

Location perfect, really lovely bright and clean room

Very loud noise in early morning when other rooms flushed toilet. No hair dryer.

Comfortable but noisy.

There was a boiler loudly rumbling at 30m intervals throughout the night right behind my bed. Also the windows didn't properly close.

Loved it . Rooms very clean. Staff and landlord were both very friendly. beer excellent and do we’re the prices. Rights in the centre of Totnes. Great place to stay . Breakfast very good price and was excellent . I would recommend this place .

Superb

Really friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed and great value for money. I could not fault anything about the accommodation itself.

Totnes is very pretentious and expensive. Not really a place worth visiting for most.

I certainly wouldn’t return

location was convenient for what we wanted to do .

the room was dated and very dirty . The bathroom was particularly awful , it is very overpriced for what you get .

Lovely stay

The staff were super lovely from check in to leaving. The rooms was spotless and they were very accommodating. We stayed in the bar for the evening to watch a band which just rounded off the stay beautifully.

Fantastic hotel with brilliant rooms in a great location, very relaxing and luxurious

Not worth the money

There was no parking no breakfast, not enough towels. Cold on the first night but they did supply a extra quilt ( without a cover) bed side lamps couldn’t be used without reaching down behind the bed. We were refused a drink in the bar on arrival even though there was still people drinking in the bar. The tv was pixilated so not able to watch it.

Bit expensive for what it was

Location super great in the centre of town. And free parking easily available on the street (free after 6pm and on Sundays). The staff downstairs in the pub were super friendly and easy check in and check out.

It’s above a pub - so you get what you know you’re going to get. They have live music on Saturday nights - but they do close it down before 11pm and the pub seems to empty quickly after that. Weird damp smell in the bathroom. But clean and not bad enough to really put you off. Just a bit expensive for what it is. But it served a purpose for myself and my mum so all good
