Lo dico da Aquilano - se vogliamo attrarre turisti dobbiamo cambiare mentalità

The owner has been flexible with our late check in + he agreed with booking customer service to shorten our reservation letting us leave after 2 days paying only for those first 2 days without penalties (honestly I think this was the least he could do due to the false/misleading advertisement though...)

A couple of clarifications regarding the facilities & related services should be included in the description. At the time of booking our reservation (17th of July 2020) the place was advertised as inclusive of a fully functioning kitchen and a balcony/terrace both shown in the pictures on Booking. 1) The owner later explained that the oven and gas stoves as shown in the pictures cannot actually be used for preparing meals (for that you could only use the small separate microwave included) allegedly due to an update to regional B&B regulation. 2) The owner - after our requests - also explained that the balcony which was - at the time of booking our reservation - shown in the pictures as big enough to fit a table, was actually referred to a different apartment that at the time was not listed on Booking. What was actually kind of a bad joke is that - according to the owner's response to booking customer service first and to me afterwards - also our appartment had a balcony -> the 10 centimeters width of the wall out our windows (as shown in the attached pictures). 3) The owner later also explained that due to covid regulation the daily cleaning has to be performed only if the guests are not present in the whole apartment - both my girlfriend and I had to work remotely with skype/teams meetings starting at 9AM so we couldn't leave the apartment for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. Unfortunately we both hoped to be able to be out on the big balcony shown in the pictures (at the time of our booking) during cleanings... Since there was no balcony at all that became another issue. 4) The cherry on top of this cake has been the owner saying that he tried to change the description on Booking multiple times but unfortunately the guys from Booking.com write the descriptions and select the pictures by themselves without asking/involving the owners!
