I like the location, and it’s very quiet.
I found the towel, bed sheets and things in the room quite old and damage. The staff were quite distant and not helpful.

-The rooftop is nice.
-Breakfast was decent.
-The hostess is kind.
-The whole place had a picturesque atmosphere.
-There was a lot of humidity in the room and an awful smell.
-The sheets didn’t feel or smell clean.
-From the room, you could hear the noises in the kitchen when preparing breakfast and in the same way they could hear us back from the kitchen. There is no Privacy.
-The pool was not clean and had little water circulation.
Note: I know it’s not their fault, but yet, this is promoting free parking when they actually are referring to the road side parking and you have to circle around looking for a parking when the area is crowded.

The staff was really friendly!
In my 2 nights booking the hotel was without power 3 different times. (I believe this was due to an intervention by the electricity company on the front street)
4.1
Great location. Easy access to the hotel and the room.
The room was dirty, the AC did not work, the hot water did not work and we did not have water to take a shower in the morning.
4.1
Super cute. Outside is very unassuming, but once you enter the doors, very nice. Location is also a few blocks from the Historical buildings in the Colonial section of Santo Domingo.

Location was brilliant, staff were exceptionally helpful and the facilities were wonderful, would highly recommend!

The hot tub on the roof was a good spot, manager was friendly and Juan in the front desk was awesome.
The bed was awful, not comfortable at all, it wasn’t the cleanest we find cockroaches a couple times 🤮, the tv was never working land the wifi signal
Was very poor. The hotel staff was very rude. When serving breakfast portions were small and the staff wouldn’t ask how you wanted the breakfast. Most times felt like they didn’t wanna be there.

The location, The property has a beautiful pool, outdoor breakfast area and upstairs for the jacuzzi.
The first room found multiple little roaches in the bathroom. I was ready to leave the next day and they told me no money back because it was made with booking. The second room the bathroom floor super dirty. The toilet seat was not the correct size for the toilet and it had a crack. The bathroom did not have a fan and it smelled the whole time like sewage. Found another roach but in the shower. The property beautiful on the outside but the rooms and the roach problem needs a lot of work. The staff was really nice and try to accommodate but in the end I will not stay there in the future

Location great
Even though the price was cheap, the hotel room was not very nice. Very old bathroom, defect toilet seats, a sink that was not really usable for more then washing hands.
In addition there was a construction ongoing during the day and with that pool was not accessable.

The staff shows amazing ownership and pride of their hotel. It is a beautiful remodeled colonial home in Santo Domingo's Colonial District. I only stayed one night but would have loved to stay a week. I was able to walk on Avenida Colon, a pedestrian mall located a scant 75 meters away.and take in many of the areas sites in addition to wonderful cafes, restaurants and a park. There is even a Chocolate Museum close by!
Casa Sanchez offers a Jacuzzi and a pool... Even more enticing was the "Honor Bar" where you could have a cold one and just jot it down on a sheet!
The themed room names are also a hoot. I stayed in the Churchill Room - a British Themed homage. Wonderful bed, air conditioning and.a fridge to stash your water, because one thing is certain, Santo Domingo offers it's share of humidity.
I could not stay longer. I likely would have quit my job and just moved in! I might be a bit weary of the steps to get to some of the rooms but the staff will help you lug your luggage!

All the staff was very professional and made us feel welcomed. The beer they gave us during the check in was delicious. We stayed at the British Suite and we're satisfied with the room and spaces. The lady that helped us with the check in was very friendly.
Everything was perfect.

Only problem was that the internet was suuuper slow...

The location was amazing. Staff was amazing and really helpful. Immediately remarked that it was better to park in designated parking lots. The apartment itself was clean and very well maintained. Overall an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the colonial area of Santo Domingo
Being nitpicky, but the shower took really long to get warm

great location!
all was okay!!

The location of this property was great. The social areas of the hotel are also very convenient if you are there for hanging out or working.
There is small space for breakfast and I would recommend making breakfast a bit more tasteful. The first room I was given wasn’t so comfortable, sheets were clean but stained and mattress winked in the middle. Second room that I asked for was a lot better regarding cleanness and comfort.
4.1
The personnel was extremely friendly and welcoming. The interior was absolutely gorgeous, and the breakfast was great too! We could choose between a "french breakfast", granola with yoghurt and fruit, or a Dominican breakfast. We chose for the french breakfast and we thought it was delicious!
Nothing! Everything was good as it was! :)
4.1
Really nice staff, good localization, tasty Dominican style breakfast and awesome pool.
No soap for washing hands (but there Was shower gel in the shower), water in jacuzzi was smelly.
4.1
the location was good, the room was comfortable and good for the price we paid not sure i would be happy paying much more $50 a night for a room. Breakfast was adequate nothing special
the fact that the free parking was just street parking, and spots outside the hotel were hard to find anytime after 5pm so ended up parking further away and then having to move the car around 8pm when closer spots became available
