Introducing Venice-Eden Lagoon House, a remodeled and decorated private home in South Venice, Florida.
Venice-Eden is spacious and comfortable with a split floor plan that offers privacy, two bedrooms with queen beds, a large living room, a Florida room with two futons, a fully equipped kitchen, multiple dining options, and a two gar garage with washer and dryer.
You will LOVE your private salt water pool and spa – a true oasis surrounded by lush tropical foliage, palm trees, bougainvillea, hibiscus, and fruit trees (lemon, tangelo, and mango); all landscaped for maximum privacy.
The outdoor spaces which include a pergola with fans, two concrete tables and benches, several Adirondack chairs, pool side chairs and loungers, a fire pit, and a hammock are maintained by mosquito nix – a safe and automatic spray system that keeps the bugs away night and day! There is also an outdoor grill and bar area with working wine cooler. which is lighted for evening cooking.
If this is not enough, five beautiful beaches are only a short distance away including the beach and fishing pier at Sharkey’s (2 miles), Manasota Beach (2 miles), and the famed Venice Beach (3 miles) – known as the shark tooth capital of the world. Grab you shark hunting basket from the garage and get to work hunting for Megalodon sharks teeth (FYI - Megalodon means “big teeth”). We have beach chairs and a beach umbrella as well as kiddie toys for all the great beaches in Venice!
Down the road from Venice Beach is historic downtown Venice with miles of boutique shopping and gourmet restaurants. There are also many golf courses in and around Venice.
Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with large TV’s and access to Comcast Cable and Netflix. Free high speed internet access is also included. Property managers are a simple phone call away for anything additional you may need.

My family and I just returned from a weeklong stay at this property. I can't say enough good things about it! The house and grounds were very well kept and had everything that one could need for a great vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked, extra linens were provided, and there were plenty of beach towels, chairs, shark tooth sifters, etc. My kids loved the outdoor area and spent hours each day enjoying the beautiful pool area. The house is less than 10 minutes away from Caspersen and Venice beaches and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. When we start planning our vacation next year, this will be the first property I look for!

We absolutely loved it! Very relaxing and quite. Pool, spa wonderful. Tropical garden was perfect it was like a textured painting. Lots of butterfies. House was relaxing and fun things to look at. We would love to come vacation again. Thank you for sharing your home.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, but the backyard pool area… Amazing! Just like the pictures y’all, and more. The pool itself is breathtaking. So much attention to detail, like the stingrays at the bottom of the pool, the little star fish on the swim up bar stools, and the hot tub thats spilling over into the pool…and the lights at night,… beautiful! Then there’s the landscape beyond the pool! Make sure you don’t miss that. The first morning we got our coffee and wondered around the yard admiring all the beautiful flowers and tress. In the very back, handing in a tree is a huge Staghorn fern, I’ve never seen one so big! Also beautiful Plumeria tress and hibiscus. I could go on and on, but I’ll move to the inside. So cute, artsy and fun! I loved the fun colorful decor. This home has lots of personality that fit ours perfectly. Beds were comfy and it was easy to check in. This home is in a good neighborhood as well. We even meet one of the neighbors, who was very nice. We enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend this home and would book it again in a heartbeat!

Couldn’t ask for a better stay. You don’t even have to leave the backyard! Margo was very helpful with all questions we had also. Close to everything. If the city votes the Ferry can be used by guests again, this is a 6 star.

We loved our stay at this home and especially enjoyed the pool and spa. The lush tropical backyard pool allowed us to spend quality fun time together. We grilled one night and ate outside. We did have a glitch with the spa and the host was very responsive and had a technician come and fix it promptly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.
The house was very clean and everything worked out wonderfully well for us! It truly is 5 o’clock somewhere!!!

We loved the layout of the home and the way it opened up to the Florida room made it feel very spacious. The real gem to this property is the backyard. In addition to the awesome pool and spa, we used the covered grilling and bar area a lot. The back yard was huge, landscaped beautifully and was very private. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

This house was perfect for our week long stay for my daughters equestrian competition at Fox Lea Farms. The house was very clean, the backyard and pool area is beautiful but we were unable to use them due to our schedule and the weather. I would definitely stay here again.

We went for Christmas Break and everything was perfect. They even supplied a Christmas tree for us to put up. They had ample kitchen utensils and pans to make whatever you wanted. Great location!

2nd time we've stayed here, trying to convince my Husband to go with me next year. Could go here and stay the entire time in the backyard at the pool. Backyard, all the add-on's, 2 full bathrooms, located not far from the main road and interstate, enough stuff to do close by/in the area. Easy to connect with owner, love that it's an individual owner and not some corporation managing it. Very pleased

Great location, very quiet and peaceful just what we needed after visiting the parks for two weeks. House is lovely with some fantastic pieces of art/artwork in all of the rooms. The best part of the house was the outside area, the pool and the seating area has been well thought out and we spent many happy hours there. Thank you for a great stay.

The house was very nice and clean. The pool and back yard was beautiful. Communication with Margo was very good, she responded quickly to any messages sent. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Our 3rd visit was wonderful. I really love this house and location. Venice is probably my favorite place to visit. Love the beach by Sharky's Pier. This house has so many spices, pans, cups and TOWELS! We are so thankful for the conveniences. Sadly I think that we have outgrown this space as we need more options for beds since the Florida Room with futons isn't temperature controlled.
With the heatwave (outside of the owners control) the AC couldn't quite keep up which we did not enjoy but by midnight the temperature was decent enough for sleep. I would suggest some darkening blinds for these instances as well as for regulating the temperature in general but it never impacted us in previous stays, also in summer.

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal! The outdoors was like a little paradise. There were palm trees and various fruit trees. Very private area. We spent so much time in the beautiful pool just relaxing. The inside of the house was clean and very comfortable. Hoping to schedule some more time real soon.

You feel like you’re in paradise while sitting by the pool! The landscaping is the best I have seen in Florida. The pool was always just the right temperature. We turned on some country music in the sunroom and there are speakers outside all around the pool. That was a nice touch. The house is quiet for sleeping. The inside of the house was nicely updated and I love the two sets of French doors that open up to the sunroom. The garage has floats for the pool and bikes for an evening ride. This is my go to place in Florida from now on! Also it is very conveniently located to everything. Thanks Margo!

The location is ideal for biking on Venetian waterway to many beautiful beaches and historic Venice. The yard is a tropical paradise. This would have been the perfect place for my one month April vacation. BUT…When we arrived, we discovered Margo had not remembered to send our entry code and house rules. Luckily, after our long drive, tired at 6pm, and standing at the front door, we called and she answered. Also disappointing was, prior to our arrival, the yard had not been cleaned up, and it appeared for the entire winter. Piles of dead leaves surrounded house perimeter within the gardens. The yard was mowed recently though. The second week, I asked the yard service, who told me they do only the front yard weekly, to mow the back and take down dead palm branches over the pool. I told him I had already blown dead leaves and raked yard to help keep out of pool. I visited the ferry the second day. I was told by the captain about new rules and no renters allowed. I related immediately to Margo who forgot to renew the ferry pass prior to my arrival. The previous 3 month renters did not use it, so she said overlooked the annual renewal. The pass key left there was outdated. I communicated the ferry was important to me. I tired to work something out for access. I was on hold for for 2 weeks as she said it might come in the mail. I was unable to use the ferry the entire month. This was a big disappointment. I also let Margo know the Lanai I was very dusty and had cobwebs on the ceiling. She did not offer to have it cleaned. I took down the biggest cobwebs with broom and killed a spider. All my issues were communicated to her but not all resolved. After my departure, the house was not inspected for 4 days which left me in a vulnerable position had someone entered the property. The extra $400 security deposit for my dog was a big concern. I had left the yard and house in pristine condition. I treated the property like my own, which I keep very well manicured and very clean. Renters should take note that the pool is not screened and with all the trees you need to be willing to change filters and skim it almost daily. Margo is easy to contact, but did not have a means to correct these issues important to me.
