About this villa rental
Villa Elica is a fully modernised charming Provencal house in the bay of St Tropez with private pool, and is furnished to a high standard. It is set within a gated community comprising about 25 homes of which about 50% are let as holiday homes and the rest are occupied by locals. There is virtually no through traffic and free parking is available outside the house.
There are 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and it sleeps 8. The house is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 2 families. The house is fully equipped, has wireless internet, reversible air-conditioning, pretty Mediterranean gardens and lovely views. You can dine either on the front terrace or in the back garden overlooking the pool, where there is a gas barbeque. It's 900m (10 minutes walk) to beautiful sandy beaches.
It is 20 minutes walk to Port Grimaud which has a good selection of shops and waterside cafes and restaurants. It's 1 minute walk to the nearest shop and restaurant in summer, 5 minutes in winter. It's a short drive or water taxi ride to St Tropez. You can also cycle to St Tropez or St Maxine along the cycle path in about 40 minutes ( this is how long it takes us with 2 children). The house is a short drive to Grimaud ( about 10 minutes) and other picturesque hilltop villages. Whilst a car is handy it's not essential, and as well as being able to walk to the beach and the restaurants of Port Grimaud, it's 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, from which you can take a bus to St Tropez, Grimaud, St Maxine and St Raphael.
The price quoted is fully inclusive, including cleaning at the start and end, all linen and towels except beach towels and a local agent to meet and greet you and to be on hand if need be during your stay.
Note, there is air conditioning in all 3 upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs there is air-conditioning in the lounge/ dining room but not in the downstairs bedroom. This room has a fan and usually stays quite cool due to it's thick stone walls.
Downstairs there is a shower room and toilet, upstairs there is a bathroom and toilet.
Note, we are close to a nearby campsite, which has outside evening entertainment in July and August which can be heard from our garden. This always ends by 11pm.
We have English speaking TV including Netflix.
We've made the house a home from home and you'll find a good selection of books, CD's, DVD's and board games, and table tennis.

Lovely property easily accommodating our group of 6 and well positioned for exploring the area

Nicola was exceptionally accommodating to our changing schedule due to flight changes . We had a small issues with getting into the property but was sorted swiftly by management team . No complaints just a great property in a great location for amenities. We particularly enjoyed outdoor spaces ( infact even with a very poor weather day we only slept inside ) . Would recommend!

We had a wonderful week in Villa Erica. The Villa is spacious and comfortable (2 adults & 2 teenagers) and had everything we needed. Great outdoor spaces back and front with a lovely pool to relax in. Also use of bikes which was a bonus. We did not take a car and it was not a problem. 10 min walk to the beach and Port Grimaud close by. Took a boat to St Tropez, easy to catch a bus to Sainte Maxime and plenty of restaurants nearby. Small supermarket 2 mins away from Villa or huge (much cheaper) supermarket a couple of miles away which we had taxi to and stocked up.
Property Manager Zoe was very helpful and always on hand.
One final word for Nicky, the property owner who has been fabulous all the way through the covid experience, from early enquiries back in 2019 to us finally getting to the Villa in 2022.
We would happily recommend.

Great house
A very nice house that lived up to our expectations. We were very impressed by the pool, the rooms but maybe especially the small little things like the snacks, drinks and kitchen stuff that welcomed us.

Great for families!
Nice house. Walking distance to the beach and to Port Grimaud. Perfect for our family with young children.

St. Tropez? No Merci. Port Grimaud?

Alles in allem sehr schön.
- negativ

Fabulous!
The hosts have been amazing regarding our booking during COVID, they took away all of the stress and were very accommodating and understanding regarding the forever changing situation.
The accommodation itself was perfect for our family, everything you could possibly need and in a great location. Within walking distance to a local bakery, beach and plenty of restaurants. Also great for exploring the local area. A week just isn’t long enough, we’ll have to go back!

Charmante petite maison

A perfect summer time at Grimaud
The house is perfect for a group of 8. It is fully furnished with everything we need for a week holiday, even a paddle to enjoy on the beach, some snacks and beverages for our arrival in the house, air conditioning in all rooms etc. The pool is a real + to refresh easily at home. Nicky & Neil provided us with all the information we needed in order to make sure we have everything we need to spend a good time in their house. I highly recommend this place, which is perfect for a week holiday in the south of France. Very close to the beach and to the nice villages of Grimaud and Port Grimaud.

Great location, lovely villa
Really lovely villa in a great location just outside Port Grimaud.
Ample space for 5 adults and 3 kids across 4 good sized bedrooms. Lovely front terrace with seating for 8 of us to eat and equally good sized patio/pool area at the back.
Pool isn’t huge, but fine as a plunge pool to cool off or for kids to splash around in.
Lounge & kitchen/dining area downstairs really good size.
Walking distance to a beach and just a 15 - 20 minute drive to either St Tropez or St Maxime. Port Grimaud itself is 5 minutes in the car.
Villa is in a nice secure estate and there’s a Casino mini-market just outside the gates which was really useful.
Have rented a few villas in the area and this is one of the best for value and location.

We have holidayed in Port Grimaud a number of times over the past 15 years and this villa and location are perfect. From the initial enquiry to arrival everything was well managed. Thank you

Great vacation
I spent one week at Villa Elica in june with my family. The house is beautyful and very well equiped for both kids and adults. The property is perfectly located, everything is at walking distance so it’s also possible to avoid using the car. Port Grimaud is 5 min by car and St Tropez 15 min with regular traffic. Me and my family will for sure repeat the experience at Villa Elica. The owner and host are Kindle and helpful. I strongly recommend this property.

Beautiful family villa in amazing location
We have stayed twice at Villa Elica and really enjoyed it tremendously. The villa is in a great location near Port Grimaud and only a short drive, cycle or water taxi to St Tropez. It is only an hour or so from Nice airport and is also handy for Cannes and Saint Maxime as well as Frejus and Saint Raphael which all have lovely beaches that we enjoyed visiting.
Villa Elica comfortably accommodated the 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) and is very well equipped for self-catering including a good sized oven, a barbecue and one internal and two external dining areas. There is also a good sized utility room for washing and drying clothes.
There is a pool in the garden which our kids loved playing in and we also enjoyed the table tennis table – if we’d had more time I’ve no doubt we would have also used the owners’ bikes which they kindly provide. The owners have made sure the villa is very comfortable for guests and has homely touches such as family photos which make it a pleasant and relaxed place to base yourself whilst exploring the fantastic Code d’Azur.
The villa has ample parking and is very secure with a gated driveway and a lockable gate to the villa itself. We were greeted by people who live nearby who told us about the local area as well as explaining how the various appliances in the villa work. They are also available by mobile during the visit if there are any problems or questions which is really good to know.
We will definitely be returning to villa Elica and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants a family, or indeed romantic, holiday in this beautiful part of France and one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Die Küche bietet alles was man so braucht.

Great location to enjoy the French Riviera
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Elica. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the French Riviera. Although the pool was a bit smaller than expected, it was nice to be able to cool off after a long day out in the sunshine. The nearby beach is great. We did have to purchase some beach towels and an umbrella for shade to use at the beach. It would be a nice bonus if there were beach chairs, sand mats, and an umbrella at the house for us to borrow. We did leave our beach towels, two sand mats, and an umbrella for future renters to use. Other than those small details, the house was perfect for us.
