I recommend everyone this lovely villa in the heart on Fuerteventura. A quiet and relaxing village near Corralejo. We found the house very clean and comfortable, perfect for families. It has everything you need including the pool and the barbecue. The owners were very kind although we never met, they also left us a welcome pack. Hope to get back!

Excellent - a superb week's birdwatching from a lovely villa
The villa itself was perfect - a quiet location on the edge of Villaverde, clean and very spacious. We loved the villa from the moment we opened the door and we really appreciated the welcome pack with the essentials (especially the wine) after our long day's travelling! It was extremely comfortable for the four of us and the private garden with the pool was just heavenly on a hot afternoon when we had been out from early morning birdwatching. The wifi and internet was fast and easy to access.
Villaverde has several restaurants and a very good local supermarket making it easy to either eat out or in. It's a local village not a tourist resort, so no big hotels or lots of people - which was exactly what we wanted.
The whole booking process was straightforward and Chris and Ian (the owners) were very helpful in providing advice on both the villa and the local area to us as we'd never visited the island before. The only problems we had were a couple of minor snags mainly to do with the pool heatpump tripping out and the local agent came round straight away to sort it out, which was great. Linens and bath towels were all provided, but not pool towels - however we had remembered to take those with us!.
Villa Paloma is perfectly situated for anyone wanting a birdwatching holiday on Fuerteventura and we would thoroughly recommend it as a base. Some of the island's sought after species can be found at or near the villa. We heard Stone Curlew every evening and found Fuerteventura Chat and Trumpeter Finch on the hillside opposite the villa. Hoopoes were everywhere and Laughing Dove was a regular visitor to the garden along with Spanish Sparrow. Tindaya Plain was 20 minutes away with Houbara Bustard, Cream-coloured Courser and Black-bellied Sandgrouse the highlights for us here.
In summary - a fabulous holiday in a lovely villa in a perfect location. We'd love to come back to Villa Paloma - a week wasn't long enough and there's lots more of the island to explore.

High quality villa in a lovely area.
We had a fantastic week away. The villa is beautiful with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean and really nicely decorated. The bedrooms were all a really good size, as was the kitchen. The children particularly pleased with Wi-fi and TV .Walking distance to a supermarket and some lovely restaurants. Nice quiet area but easy to reach everything. Will definitely return !

A great stay at this lovely villa for a family Christmas in the sun and warmth of the Canaries.
Enjoyed our stay at the villa very much, warm pool, well equipped from a great big kitchen to satellite TV and even a blue tooth speaker which was great for the teenagers.
Much time was spent on the terrace by the pool eating, reading and enjoying the sun. The villa is large as spacious, has everything you could ever want, comfy beds, clean and nicely appointed, lovely gardens and peaceful location away from the busy tourist areas.
Can highly recommend to others.

We had a lovely family holiday, the Villa is stunning and the photos don’t do it justice! The villa and grounds are well looked after, plenty of room for us all and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome pack as we arrived late at night. Beds were comfy and villa is well furnished. The location is great for exploring different parts of the island, we visited beaches, markets, restaurants, an aloe Vera centre, we went up in the mountains and even to a goat farm. Really superb holiday. Thank you 😊

Amazing place
We had a nice experience in Villa Paloma.
Excellent house, plenty of space.
Of course there are some faults, like swimming pool wasn’t warm as we expected and the beds are not that comfortable, also the colt is not what we were thinking.
Nevertheless, we felt secure and had a nice place to go back after the beach.
Definitely considering to go back to the villa.

Fantastic stay
The
We stayed for just one week and would definitely like to return.
The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The pool is a nice size and there are plenty of sunbeds/chairs. We didn't use the BBQ but I think that was a nice touch should you want to eat alfresco!
On arrival there is a thoughtful welcome pack including bread, marg, beer and wine! Just what you need after a days travel.
The location we thought was great too as we love the beaches near el cortillo , also close to the sand dunes at corralejo which are just a 15 min drive away.
There is a wonderful cheeky bird that pops round chattering away to itself and made us laugh with its antics! Tapping on the window for food I think!
All in all the space is spot on !
Ian and the management team are a pleasure to deal with too.
Many thanks again Ian we hope to go back soon :)
Kind regards, Marianne

Everything we wanted in a holiday villa
Recently stayed at villa Paloma for a week of sun and relaxation with some friends. Lovely villa, very large and open plan, well equipped, great pool area for alfresco meals and drinks etc.
Would stay again definitely, shame we could only stay the week, we enjoyed the trip very much.

bona

Excellent Winter Break
The villa is just on the outskirts of Villaverde, a very pleasant village about 20 mins by car from Corralejo, the major town on the North side of Fuerteventura. The village has several bars, restaurants and an excellent bakery/ coffee shop. The villa is well situated and very comfortable, with a spacious living room and (in my case) an ensuite double bedroom. It was very clean throughout, and well appointed for self-catering. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore this fascinating and underdeveloped island with its beautiful beaches.

Truly Wonderful Villa
We a family of 6 returned to this villa having stayed here 2 years ago. We enjoyed it last time and decided to come back for a Christmas break. We had a great time, the kids enjoyed the heated pool which was well used, the villa is well equipped, clean and comfortable with lots of space for us to spread out and use. It is very private with a fence all the way round. We like this villa for its location, on the edge of the village (Villaverde) away from the masses, noise and bright lights in Corralejo, a definite plus point for us as we like a quiet location.
It has several local bars and restaurants, (a couple have wifi should you want it) a nice coffee shop/bakery and a good supermarket all nearby so all our food and drink requirements were well catered for.A short drive to beautiful beaches which we did in the daytime sometimes.
We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a lovely place which was good value compared to others, we returned for a 2nd visit and stay so that says it all really. We were also lucky as most days were warm and sunny for the entire week in December, lucky us!
We will deffinately be back. Total relaxation.

Fantastic Villa!!! Will return!!
November stay 2012
Large spacious villa which was ideal for our group of 7 friends, all adults who wanted a week to escape the winter weather and have some warm sunshine to relax in. This villa fitted the bill and we all enjoyed its quiet location with the views of the volcano, the pool and outside area. Its well equipped, clean and provided everything we needed especially in the kitchen as we cooked a few times and used the BBQ. The big fridge was well used for the beer and wine chilling!!
We enjoyed our stay here at Villa Paloma and would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Fantastic first villa holiday!
All 8 of us enjoyed our stay at Villa Paloma very much indeed. This was the first time we chose a private villa for our holiday and we weren't disappointed.
The villa was very spacious and clean with high ceilings and furnished to a very high standard. The lounge and dining area were very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen (large fridge for chilling the beer and wine!)
The children enjoyed spending all their time in and around the pool area, whilst we topped up our tans enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area.
The village has a local supermarket and several good restaurants (liked 'El Horno' especially) and a little bakery for the daily bread!
We all had a great time and will definitely return. If you come to Villa Paloma you won't be disappointed.

I'd go back tomorrow!
You know you've had a good holiday when you don't want to come home. I have visited this villa twice and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
It's a fabulous villa if you are looking for somewhere you can relax and feel at home. The facilities and space are fantastic, with a large kitchen & dishwasher (!), sepertate dining room, homely lounge, large bedrooms, decent bathrooms and private pool. The villa is equipped with all that you would need and really is a home from home, whether you spend evenings on the terrace, watching a dvd with the family or playing cards around the table.
The main thing I like about this villa is its size. There were six of us and not at any point did we feel on top of each other. It really is big enough to spread out both inside and out, and it's impossible to feel confined like you might in a smaller property.
It gets the sun all day as well so you can easily spend the day at the villa as well as use it as a base for exploring the island.
It's location is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the busier towns, which means a car is needed really for getting around. But don't be put off because the road network in Fuerteventura is great, there are more pot holes etc in England! In my experience the drivers aren't any worse over there than they are here either.
The beaches in the north of the island are AMAZING! Go left in El Cotillo to get to a surfer style beach which is great for bodyboarding and go right to find the more tranquil bay which provides crystal clear waters and rock pools to explore. Head to the sand dunes in Coralejo for paradise- white sand and blue seas, so beautiful. Some days there are small waves and other days there are bigger waves which means more bodyboarding, either way it is stunning.
I love Fuerteventura and I love Villa Paloma so much that I would actually pack my bags now and go. It's just fabulous and I am very jealous of you if you are about to book it!!
